Nostradamus and the New Prophecy Almanacs is actually a synthesis of prophetic interpretation and my own personal system of prediction based on consistent, repetitive, mathematical patterns of past events.
I call this system the base 7 system.
Through close observation over many years, I have come to conclude that every historic event, natural and manmade, has a timestamp of fortune or disaster embedded within it. Every human being creates, or has created for them, a personal timestamp of death that can come back again in another form at fairly regular intervals, often of seven years or a multiple of seven years (such as 14, 21, 28, etc).
Because some events do not repeat every seven years, but instead by a factor of 14 years or 21 years (etc), or are "every seven year repeaters" that occasionally skip over a seventh year without incident, an individual expecting a repetition will come away with a false sense of security when nothing bad happens. More importantly, this also contributes to the illusion that time is linear rather than cyclical.
An excellent example of how this system works is discussed a bit further on below.

Nostradamus prophesied the death of Princess Diana, her "temple" at Althorp, and her reappearance to the world as a miraculous apparition. Sacred ground, especially from Nostradamus' strict European Christian perspective, is usually burial ground: earth that has been consecrated by the Church or by a Christian ceremony made suitable for burial of the dead. Thus, the woman whose voice is discerned coming from the ground is dead. Therefore, what we are experiencing in this quatrain is a woman of tremendous importance, adored and loved in death as well as in life, returning to communicate a message to her worshippers and to the entire world. This final event has been presaged by a growing number of paranormal apparitions sighted in various parts of the world, including the UK, by large numbers of people and entire communities. Most recently Diana's ghost appeared quite clearly in a church in Scotland and was captured on camera, the video since going viral. This, however, was but a precursor of the event predicted by Nostradamus. |  |
Diana's spirit appearance at Althorp, or before a multitude elsewhere, should occur in August 2012 after the founding of a new, false religion and just prior to Iraqi Shi'a leader Muqtada al-Sadr entering a huge regional conflict in the Middle East which, in turn, triggers World War III:

So very terrible will this war be that many
thousands, possibly millions, of people will be delivered
up as human sacrifices to Vulcan, the God of Fire. They
will largely be soldiers and luckless civilians
incinerated by terrible weapons, including nuclear
weapons. Also, perhaps, their dead bodies will be
collected and mass cremated. In one quatrain, Nostradamus
links Babylon (Iraq) to "the infernal gods of
Hannibal," and thusly to the worship of Ba'al Hammon
who was honoured in Carthage by the taking of criminals,
slaves, war prisoners, and other people unlucky to be
captives and burning them alive at an altar before a
statue shaped like a giant bull or ox. One such bull was
made of bronze and hollow on the inside. The human
sacrifice was shut up inside its belly and roasted alive,
his or her screams sounding like the bellowing of a bull
when issuing forth from the statue's metallic nostrils. Fersod (change the "F" to an "L) = el-Sodr. Modernised, "el" becomes "al", thus el-Sodr becomes al-Sodr, which sounds like the actual spelling, al-Sadr. Sadr City is a suburban district of the city of Baghdad. |

During the reign of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein it was called Saddam City. After the US invasion of Iraq ended in May 2003, the district was renamed Sadr City after the deceased Shi'a leader Mohammad Sadeq al-Sadr. Muqtada al-Sadr, an Iraqi Shi'a mullah who leads the Mahdi Army (also spelled as Mehdi Army) in Iraq, is the son of the man the city was named after, and has used Sadr City as a base of operations. If al-Sadr ever becomes leader of Iraq, which is possible, this would make Baghdad his city by namesake.
Muqtada al-Sadr may well be the "king of Babylon" prophesied by both Nostradamus and the Biblical prophet Jeremiah to appear in the latter days. Jeremiah warns that at the conclusion of the great war, Babylon (Iraq) will be utterly destroyed by many nations from beyond the Middle East, likely from Europe, as well as by the former Mede nations such as Georgia, Armenia, and Turkey. Afterwards, it will remain uninhabitable forever. Nostradamus specifically predicts the armies that are arrayed against "the King of Babylon" at the conclusion of World War III will be led by "the King of Europe" allied with those of Russia.
The huge regional conflict to occur in the Middle East will be ignited by a figure named Alus sanguinaire: "The bloody Alus."

The war of Alus,
prophesied by Nostradamus, was also chronicled by the
biblical prophet Jeremiah. Is Alus
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad,
his plotting uncle Rifaat al-Assad, or
Iraqi Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr? It would seem we have the answer with the death toll in Syria's civil war approaching 10,000 and likely to vastly exceed that number. My warnings that Syrian President Bashar-al-Assad would likely become the personification of the figure Nostradamus called Alus sanguinaire ("bloody Alus") can be traced back to January 2007 on this page and more specifically back to February 2006 elsewhere on this website. Iraqi Shi'a leader Muqtada al-Sadr may play a role in this unfolding "war of Alus" as well. The final line of Quatrain 6.33 can be translated either as "black will be the angry repentance" or "the black and angry one will make him repent." It is clear that the civil war in Syria will become regional, spreading to neighbouring Iraq by virtue of the line, "Between two rivers, dreading the military hand." Iraq, once the greater part of ancient Mesopotamia, is the country next to Syria that is watered by two rivers: the Tigris and Euphrates. Because al-Sadr's Mahdi Army waged a series of bloody confrontations with US occupation forces and Iraqi government troops, and because he has the support of the Shi'a regime in Iran, it is likely he will become a military ally of Bashar al-Assad. Recently al-Sadr declared his support for the embattled Syrian president despite his murderous, brutal assault on Syrian civilians. This could make Sadr "the black and angry one" of Quatrain 6.33. Thus, the war of Alus could bring about the destruction of Assad's regime by America's "last hand" ... but not before an Iranian merger with a civil war-torn Iraq led by Muqtada al-Sadr, heralding ultimate military defeat for the United States in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the Persian Gulf. This theme of America being defeated in the Middle East and Russia grabbing the oil fields is repeated by the prophets Erna Stieglitz and the Seer of Waldviertel (the "Farmer of Krems"). The Old Testament prophet Jeremiah also warns that a future and final "king of Babylon," with the aid of Elam (Iran), will rain down death and destruction upon Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and northern Israeli cities. The "adulterous lady" is likely a reference to the "whore of Babylon." As I have mentioned in many articles, it is possible there is a religious/cultural "pop" whore of Babylon (Revelation 17) who is worshipped as a goddess and also a political whore of Babylon (Revelation 18) who will be the final leader of the kingdom called "Babylon the great," "that great city Babylon," "that mighty city," and "that great city" whose fiery destruction causes the merchants of the earth to weep from afar (Revelation 18). Many believe this political whore of Babylon is linked to the United States of America and its great city New York, and may be a powerful female political personage, possibly even the future and final US president. During her reign, America loses its part of the war in the Middle East, but not before bringing about the destruction of Alus sanguinaire, paving the way for another even more cruel to succeed him.
However certain it may appear that Bashar al-Assad is the personification of Alus sanguinaire, there are a few other Assads to consider who may be even bloodier and fulfill the role. They are Rifaat al-Assad, the uncle of Bashar, now living in Paris, Rifaat's son Ribal al-Assad, and Colonel Riad al-Asaad (slightly different spelling and no relation), leader of the US-Turkish-supported Free Syrian Army. Little is currently known about Colonel Asaad. It has taken an entire year for casualties throughout Syria, especially in Homs, to reach 10,000 dead. In February 1982, Rifaat al-Assad allegedly killed 30,000 citizens of the city of Hama in a mere three weeks ... an atrocity he denies ordering or taking a part of.
If Alus is the "great Arab" seen in several of Nostradamus' quatrains and he comes to power in Damascus, Syria, he may be the brutal dictator known as the Sufyaani in Islamic prophecy. This figure will slaughter 100,000 men, women, and children in one city alone located in central Iraq and nearly as many in another city in northern Iraq in his effort to "secure the peace":

tyrant that he will kill the children and rip out the bellies of
women. The
Sufyaani will murder those from the household of the Prophet and
will rule over Syria ... The Sufyaani will send an army to Iraq,

100,000 in Az-Zawra, and also will receive the support of the
Roman forces ...
This is a slightly different kind of "War of Alus." In this scenario, the civil war is ended and World War III averted after Bashar al-Assad has been overthrown and replaced by a Pan-Arabist leader supported by the West, possibly even the United States. For the very first time in modern history the late Gamal Abdel Nasser's dream of an Arab world unified under one banner will finally be realised. This man will also sign an historic seven-year peace treaty with Israel ... a peace he will ruthlessly enforce by weeding out those groups and countries who will be opposed.
The
great Arab will march well ahead, he will be betrayed by the
Byzantines: Ancient Rhodes
will come forward to meet him and greater harm through the other
Hungarians.

Thus, to secure peace, he will wage a
horrifying war against all opposition wherever they may
be found. According to Islamic endtime prophecy the
Sufyaani will go to war in various places. First in Iraq,
notably in Baghdad and Kufa, then against Persia (Iran)
and Khurastan (Afghanistan), Saudi Arabia, notably Mecca
and Medina, once more against Persia (Iran), and finally
in the Byzantine Empire (a term invented by
historians in 1547 to replace Eastern Roman Empire
or Romania during its golden age). Obviously,
Turkey is one of the nations regarded as
"Byzantine" by Nostradamus. As quatrain 5.47
also clarifies, Byzantine also stands for Greece
(included anyway as "ancient Rhodes"),
Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Serbia, and the
former Yugoslavia (all of which comprise the Balkans), as
well as Hungary. So this conflict will indeed spread into
Europe. Nostradamus also tells us in the final line of
Quatrain 5.25 that the "great Arab" will attack
Egypt at the same time he is at war with the Turks and
other Byzantines. Islamic prophecy says that the Arab
Sufyaani loses the war in his own base nation of Syria
and is killed. Some bible scholars believe the current Syrian dictator, Bashar al-Assad, or his ruthless uncle, Rifaat al-Assad, will be the beast of Revelation 13. Thus, halfway through his peace accord with Israel, he will violate the treaty, entering into Jerusalem and proclaiming himself God. This will bring down a series of horrific plagues and catastrophes for 42 more months, culiminating a final month afterwards in a war known as Armageddon. The death of Alus appears to be linked to the death of another leader named Mabus. According to the Nostradamus commentator Erika Cheetham (1985), both names were likely derived from the Latin word "Malus," which simply means "The Evil" ... and not "The Evil One" as Cheetham misdirects the reader. I feel the distinction is important. There is
no question that Alus is evil
since he is linked to the shedding of blood ("bloody
Alus"). However, it is not Mabus
who sheds blood but, rather, his death that
causes it ... and on a truly apocalyptic scale: Nostradamus, Quatrain 2.62 ~ Mabus then will soon die, there
will come of people and beasts a horrible loss: Is the death of Mabus desired by many because he is an evil tyrant or is his death entirely unexpected? If the latter is true, he could be either a very good man or a very evil man (or like most human beings, some shade of grey in between). |

The first scenario indicates mass affliction by a bloodthirsty tyrant during a civil war or a huge regional confrontation, even a world war. The people can't wait to see him dead; but his death will only make matters much, much worse.
The second scenario, however, suggests a well-liked leader who is suddenly rendered dead by an assassin's bullet. It is an event that has been repeated time and time again, most recently to Pakistan's former prime minister, Benazir Bhutto, in December 1997 (an assassination I warned well in advance would happen on this very website, first in 1999 and again in early 2007). Other great leaders and personages have fallen to the assassin's bullet over the last 100 years such as Huey P. Long, Mohandas Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, John Lennon, Anwar Sadat, Indira Gandhi, Yitzhak Rabin, Pim Fortuyn, and many others.
However, only one assassination ever occurred that triggered a global war: on June 28, 1914, in Sarajevo, when the Austro-Hungarian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, were wounded and murdered by a Bosnian Serb assassin named Gavrilo Princip. What was to have been the first shot of a third Balkans conflict, one of liberation, instead, and rather quickly, became the First World War.
And now would be a good time for a lesson in using the base 7 system. This lesson involves not only a multiple of 7, but 7 squared (7 x 7 or 49).
Forty-nine (7 x 7) years earlier, April 14, 1865, as the American Civil War was drawing to a close, US President Abraham Lincoln was shot in the head and killed whilst watching Our American Cousin with his wife, First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln, at Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC. He was shot by a famous American stage actor (and crypto-Confederate sympathiser) John Wilkes Booth. The plot to kill the president also extended to the Vice President (who was not attacked) and the Secretary of State (who was wounded by an assassination conspirator at his home). Lincoln's death did not start a war but, rather, it was because of the outcome of a war that he was murdered.

Forty-nine (7 x 7) years after the 1914 murder of Archduke Ferdinand, on November 22, 1963, US President John F. Kennedy was shot in the head at long range by a high-powered rifle as his motorcade passed through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, TX. As in the case of Lincoln in 1865 and Ferdinand in 1914, Kennedy was accompanied by his wife, First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. His alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, was himself shot and murdered two days later on live television by local nightclub owner Jack Ruby. It has been reported that upon finding out about the assassination, and when he was given the oath of office on Air Force One bearing Kennedy's body, then-Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson expressed great fear that the shooting was part of a Soviet plot, a prelude to nuclear war. For the next 24 hours the country was placed at forced readiness, unbeknownst to the general public. Johnson had learned his lessons well about what had occurred after the shooting of Archduke Ferdinand in June 1914. It was also likely lessons learned from the Cuban Missile Crisis of the previous year that kept what would certainly have been a nuclear World War III from taking place.
Another forty-nine (7 x 7) years have passed since that time, which brings us to the current year: 2012. A plot to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin was reportedly foiled just prior to his reelection in March. Yet this is not a time to pause and breathe a sigh of relief in other, more troubled, parts of the world. Like 1865, there is a civil war in progress; this time in a volatile region of the world that could easily ignite the next global war. Like 1914, powerful nations are taking sides in preparation for a possible conflict. Like 1963, the danger of miscalculation or overreaction to a chaotic situation could cause the nuclear button to be pushed.
I strongly believe that the figure Mabus could be assassinated this year or no later than August of next year.
However, in the end, it scarcely matters if the leader who will be assassinated is Mabus or not ... if the pattern holds true, and he is the next "Archduke Ferdinand," his murder will trigger World War III.
It is an ironclad pattern with only the slightest deviation: 49 years, two months, and two weeks between Lincoln and Ferdinand; 49 years, four months, three weeks, and one day between Ferdinand and Kennedy. Each assassination changed the world. Each marked the end of one era and the beginning of another. In the year 2012 or 2013 we are ripe once again for such a dramatic change.
If the pattern next evolves to 49 years, six months, four weeks and two days after November 22, 1963, then the dreaded date would be June 21, 2013. However, if the process is a doubling of months, then it would be 49 years, eight months, four weeks and two days after November 22, 1963 ... or August 21, 2013. Of course we cannot be certain about that extra day in 1963. It may have been that November 21, 1963 was the intended day of doom and something went wrong. Thus we have to consider the dates June 19, 2013 and August 19, 2013.

Nevertheless, with
the extreme importance being placed on 2012
and the Mayan long count calendar ending on December 21, we cannot
afford to ignore the possibility the assassination will
occur sometime during this year
... especially in April,
June,
November, or December. Who, then, is this man whose dead hand will ignite World War III? We may be surprised. It is true that I feel President Barack Obama is in grave danger of becoming the next Lincoln or Kennedy sometime after being reelected in November 2012. After reading the above historical pattern of 7 years squared, this should become quite obvious. And, of course, his name could easily be linked to the anagram of Mabus. |

However, although the burden of evidence appears to favour the United States, we must remember that 49 years after Abraham Lincoln's murder and 49 years prior to John F. Kennedy's, it was an European leader who was assassinated: Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary. Thus 2012 or 2013 should resemble 1914. That would mean the location would likely once again be in the Balkans or elsewhere in Europe. However, if all that is required is a change of location from the USA to some other strategic region of the world, it need not be Europe. It could very well be, for the first time, the Middle East or East Asia (especially China, Taiwan, Japan, North Korea, or South Korea).
There are only two prophets that I know of that may tell us where this person will be assassinated. Ironically they both point to the same part of the world where Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie ruled or were murdered 98 ( 7 x 14) years ago: in a broad sense, that would either be the Balkans or Hungary.

calls peace. Schalom! Then it will occur -- a new Middle East war
suddenly flares up, big naval forces are facing
hostility in the Mediterranean -- the situation is strained. But
the actual firing spark is set on fire in the Balkans:
I see a 'large one' falling, a bloody dagger lies beside him --
then impact is on impact.
The
Third World War will come, but I cannot predict the year. It will
be preceded by signs in the skies, which will be seen by
millions of people. War will begin on a rainy night, shortly
before harvest time, when the ears are full. War will begin after
the assassination of an eminent politician in Czechoslovakia or
in Yugoslavia. An invasion from the East will follow ...
A Sister of Queen Brigite Order, Rome (published in 1970) ~
The Third World War will begin a few days after the murder of a leader in the sector of Yugoslavia-Hungary.
Irlmaier specifies the following places: what is now the former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, and Slovenia), and what is now the former Czechoslovakia (the Czech Republic and Slovakia). A Sister of Queen of Brigite also specifies the former Yugoslavia ... and Hungary. However, the sector of Yugoslavia-Hungary can only be Serbia and Hungary.
Thus, we move full circle back to the beginnings of World War I ... sort of.
Remember there is never an exact repetition of any event, only an approximation (although at times the approximation can be painfully close). Kennedy was not Lincoln. This man who is assassinated will not be exactly like Franz Ferdinand.
This "great one" of Serbia, Hungary, or the former Czechoslovakia could well be the one identified as Mabus. This could be the former Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus. Labus resigned from office in 2006 in favour of a full university professorship, but he could always return to the political arena. It could also be Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
But what if, like Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the slain Balkans leader is a high profile royal?
His Majesty King Simeon II of the Bulgarians (Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha) still seeks a real throne in Bulgaria. His royal holdings and titles also link him to Hungary (the flashpoint of World War III in Europe according to Nostradamus) and Slovakia (Alois Irlmaier was not sure if the "eminent politician" would be killed in what is now the former Yugoslavia or in what is now the former Czechoslovakia).
Could the next "Ferdinand" (and "Kennedy") be an Arab of royalty?
In the Middle East we have a potential for King Abdullah II of Jordan to be the Archduke Ferdinand of the Middle East. Queen Rania would then be his tragic spouse, just as Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, was to the fallen Ferdinand. Disturbingly, the base 7 vector for such an assassination is June 2012. Archduke Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary was assassinated on June 28, 1914 ... triggering the First World War.
Of course if Mabus is Malus, "the Evil One," The people of Syria now have reason to see their "royal couple," President Bashar and First Lady Asma (the "Princess Diana of Syria," since demoted to their "Marie Antoinette") both killed. If this should occur, in Syria or Jordan, such a double assassination could well ignite the very war everyone is trying to prevent.

Other contenders for a Middle East Mabus are
Palestinian
Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas, Iranian
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and, awaiting
execution by hanging, deposed Egyptian
president Hosni Mubarak. Then again, if the question is whose assassination would likely trigger a nuclear world war, the President of the United States looms very high on the list of candidates. This leaves us with the possibility that Mabus will be an American: US Navy Secretary Raymond Mabus (who recently visited US troops in Afghanistan) or US President Barack Obama. And as Nostradamus describes so very well in the second and fourth lines of Quatrain 2.62, what will follow will be the nightmare of mass death, starvation, global war ... and something else that will be very terrible indeed. |

After
great human misery a greater approaches, the great motor of the
centuries renewed: Rain,
blood, milk, famine, weapon, and pestilence, in the sky fire
seen, dragging long sparks.
As can be seen above, in Quatrain 2.15, a great leader ("monarch") will be slaughtered at the time a "bearded star" (comet) is apparent. A naval war will be in progress in the Mediterranean Sea, a ground war in Hungary between Russia and the United States (Castor and Pollux), and northern Italy will be involved in a civil war or else invaded. Is this comet the same as the Mabus death star of Quatrain 2.62? Most likely it is.
The next comet that we know about will reach its brightest apparition in March 2013: a comet named C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS). Unlike the recent "great comet" that appeared exclusively in the southern hemisphere, Comet Lovejoy, or Comet McNaught which gave its best show in the southern hemisphere in January 2007, Comet PANSTARRS will appear in the northern hemisphere at magnitude (minus) -0.5. Thus, it will be brighter than Comet Holmes was in October 2007, and on par with Comet Hyakutake in March 1996, but not quite as bright as Hale-Bopp in March-April 1997. At least that is how things stand now. It could end up being much brighter or, like Comet Elenin, yet another dud.
Nostradamus never seems to describe a comet impacting Earth. In his quatrains, comets usually function as sensational portents of doom or omens of death, usually for a monarch or some other kind of leader. Not every comet portends doom for the same leader ... and there are at least two that prefigure the death of a pope.
It is only the Mabus comet of Quatrain 2.52 and Quatrain 2.36 that is linked with mass destruction of human and animal life, as well as conditions of global plague, famine, and thirst (even a rain of blood). One might conclude that it is the death of Mabus that causes the mass destruction "of people and beasts," likely as a consequence of global war and the terrible weapons used. But what of the other horrors mentioned?
Nostradamus does not say, but other prophets do:
St. Hildegard of Bingen, 1098 - 1179 ~
The
Comet by its tremendous pressure, will force much out of the
ocean and flood many countries, causing much
want and many plagues. Because of the great Comet, the great
nation will be devastated by earthquakes,
storms and great waves of water, causing much want and plagues.
The ocean will also flood many
other countries, so that all coastal cities will live in fear,
with many destroyed. All sea coast
cities will be fearful and many of them will be destroyed by
tidal waves, and most living
creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from
a horrible disease.
Rigord of St. Denis (12th Century) ~
A
comet will be seen in heaven -- a star, that is, with a tail or
appendage -- and this apparition will signify destructions and
tumults and hard strifes, and withholding of rains, and dryness
of the earth, and mighty battles, and the flowing of blood
upon the earth of the east, and from beyond the River Habor it
will reach to the very end of the west. And the just and
the truly righteous will be oppressed and will suffer
persecutions, and the house of prayer will be destroyed.
Is it possible that the "comet" foreseen by Hildegard and Rigord of St. Denis was actually an asteroid???
Every four years an asteroid named Toutatis passes uncomfortably close to the earth. This elongated rock -- which measures nearly a mile across -- also possesses another feature of interest: it rolls end over end in a tumbling motion. It is the only near-earth planetoid that behaves in this manner, eerily similar to the "mountain" that "rolls long" in Quatrain 1.69.

The next time this asteroid passes close to earth will be on December 12, 2012 ... only nine days before the so-called Mayan "end of time" date. I believe this will coincide with a US-led air war with Iran and a nuclear catastrophe in India and Pakistan.
The effects of this asteroid impact as described by Nostradamus is quite similar to what is predicted by Hildegard of Bingen concerning "the great Comet."
If by some miracle we avoid the doom of Toutatis, it will be another asteroid named Apophis that we must worry about. April 13, 2029 and April 13, 2036 will then become the dates to mark on your calendars.
But comets and asteroids are not the only space objects that appear in prophecy. Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, Mother Shipton, John the Revelator, and others predicted a time of great earthquakes and geological catastrophes, describing effects upon our planet that must be caused by something terribly huge and terribly powerful.
Nostradamus, in his Epistle to Henry II, warns that "there shall be in the month of October, a great revolution made, such that everyone will think that the earth has lost its natural motion and has gone down into perpetual darkness. In the spring before and after this, shall happen extraordinary changes, reversals of kingdoms, and great earthquakes." However, the cause of this event is not named or given. Mother Shipton identifies the cause as the "dragon's tail" in the following: "A fiery dragon will cross the sky six times before this earth shall die; mankind will tremble and frightened be for the sixth heralds in this prophecy. For seven days and seven nights man will watch this awesome sight. The tides will rise beyond their ken to bite away the shores and then the mountains will begin to roar and earthquakes split the plain to shore. And flooding waters, rushing in will flood the lands with such a din that mankind cowers in muddy fen and snarls about his fellow men." Out of the deepest gloom of worldwide earthquakes, a darkened sun and bloody moon, unending night and void, collapsing hills and mountains, and a rain of fire and blood ... out of this vista from hell finally emerges the cause of it all: a blazing star which the prophet John calls Wormwood.
This potentially terrifying and dangerous celestial body believed to be a rogue planet, a mega-comet, a red dwarf star, or a brown dwarf star, popularly identified as "Planet X" or "Nibiru," is revealed more clearly in obscure ancient prophetic text and in American Indian and Islamic prophecy. Contrary to popular belief, although NIBIRU appears in Sumerian creation myth associated with a giant planet and its inhabitants the Anunnaki, there is no such thing as a Sumerian prophecy about the return of Nibiru or that its return will bring about worldwide destruction. This return has been deduced by so-called experts on the subject (mostly conspiracy theory buffs) and this theory has made the rounds as "prophecy." Many proponents of the return of Nibiru theory find support in the popularly-held belief that the final day of the current Mayan calendar on December 21, 2012 will usher in the end of the world. However, there is no link whatsoever between the Sumerian creation myth and the Mayan end date ... nor is there any reason to conclude that the completion of the Mayan baktun will somehow mark the end of human existence.

Islamic Prophecy of Abi Ja'far ~

the Abbas reaches Khorasan, a star known as Horn Zu-Shifa will
rise in the East. The first time it appeared was at the perishing
of the people of Noah when Allah drowned them. And it rose at the
time of Abraham, peace be upon him, when they cast
him into fire, and when Allah caused Pharaoh at the time of Moses
and those with him to perish, and when John
the Baptist, son of Zakariah was killed. If you see this, seek
refuge in Allah against the evilness of Fitan (strifes
and tribulations). It will rise after the eclipse of the sun and
the moon. Then, soon the Abqa
seeking to rule in Egypt will appear.

In 1950, Dr. Immanuel Velikovsky warned the world of past global cataclysms that occurred in our long ago past, close encounters with planetary bodies such as a temporarily deorbited planet Mars during the founding of Rome in 747 BC, the global catastrophe that accompanied the parting of the Red Sea during Exodus by a cometary body called Typhon that may or may not have been Venus prior to establishing an orbit around the sun, and the Biblical global deluge of the time of Noah when the planet Saturn supposedly went nova. He used both archeological and geological evidence, as well as ancient written records, to prove that these three cataclysms did indeed occur due to the action of a large celestial body passing near to our planet or influencing it from a great distance. He may or may not have been wrong about the identity of these bodies, but otherwise his theory of catastrophy from space during these three historic periods of upheaval is supported by prophecy. Indeed, he indicated that we could well expect something similar happening again in our near future ... a future which may have now arrived.
You want to know when this will happen. I can only tell you it will not happen until Europe is being invaded by forces from Russia, parts of the former Soviet Union, and the Middle East. If certain events now in play do not cease and are not reversed, events such as the civil war in Syria, that time may well arrive in July 2013. Possibly by coincidence, or not at all by coincidence, we may begin to sense or feel this dreaded "star" closing in on us in December 2012 ... a slow, troubling passage that opens the sixth and seventh seals of Revelation, finally reaching a horrific climax and unveiling as Wormwood by summer 2013.
Nostradamus indicates in two of his quatrains effects on our world consistent with a "Planet X type event," but much later than our current period. These quatrains are dated February 2044 and December 2044 by the planets. Mother Shipton seems to agree since she warns that men will take great pride in riding out the first bumpy passage of "the dragon's tail" and as a result "the Gods will send the dragon back."
Mother Shipton also supports Nostradamus' prediction that Wormwood will be brightest and most destructive for a period of seven days:

Nostradamus, Quatrain 2.41 ~
The
great star for seven days will burn, the cloud will make two suns
appear: The great
mastiff will be all night howling, when the great pontiff changes
his land.
It is important to note that Nostradamus does not call this object a "comet," "a bearded star," or a "hairy star" as he usually does with comets, but rather he calls it a "star": a great star. By linking this star with a great pope fleeing the Vatican, he also is confirming this star to be the biblical Wormwood.
During the medieval period, inspired prophets were often confused as to the nature of Wormwood, some calling it a star and others describing it as a "great comet." Hildegard of Bingen clarifies to us that "the Comet" is something quite different from Wormwood since it actually impacts Earth whilst Wormwood causes various catastrophic disturbances on our planet from space. We also know today that the Vatican Observatory at Castel Gandolfo, including its LUCIFER telescope at Mount Graham Observatory in Arizona and Project Wormwood at Learmonth Solar Observatory in Australia, are maintaining a keen vigil seeking for the star Wormwood. This is hardly a secret since a prophet, one who believed Wormwood would be the "great comet," revealed this would happen 800 years ago:

The "great star" that means death to the Pope is similar to the "comet that shall run" when a Balkans, Middle East, or world leader named Mabus is assassinated or executed. Like 1981, when both US President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II were attacked by would-be assassins two months apart, the 21st Century version of Archduke Ferdinand, possibly named Mabus, and the current pope, Benedict XVI or one who succeeds him, will both be attacked by assassins ... but neither will survive.
Much worse, not one but two popes will likely die violently in the year 2013.
The Third Secret of Fatima ~

Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half

and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his
way; having reached the top of the mountain,

The timing of the Third Secret of
Fatima is in the immediate future. The slain
"Bishop Dressed in White" (who may or may not
also be Nostradamus' pope who "bleeds from the
mouth" visiting "a city watered by two
rivers") is either Pope Benedict XVI
or his immediate successor (who I believe will be the Cardinal
of Venice, Angelo Scola). The most dangerous vectors for the prophecy's fulfillment is June 2013. Indeed, it is very possible that 2013 will see the reigning pope die, his successor die, and yet another pope elected who will be French (who I believe will be Cardinal Andr� Armand Vingt-Trois) ... the one called "the great Pontiff" by Nostradamus and numerous other European prophets. It is also possible that of the two popes who die, the first, Benedict XVI, will either be assassinated or die of natural causes prior to June 2013, perhaps as early as April/May 2012, and the second will be assassinated or perish as a casualty of war. |
Many people believe that Pope Benedict XVI is the one St Malachy called "Glory of the Olive" in his list of future popes. I have serious doubts about Malachy's list and you can find out why here.
However, if his list happens to be right, then you might be tempted to think that the next pope, "Peter of Rome," would be the last. Last or not, I believe the Cardinal of Venice, Angelo Scola, is going to be next in line. He is Italian. Yet Nostradamus and many other prophets over the last nearly 2,000 years have anticipated a "great Pontiff" who will come from France near the end of the world.
Where does he fit in on Malachy's list? No French pope there to be seen. No pope, in fact, at all after Peter of Rome.
Then again, re-read the following prophecy:
St. Malachy (1094-1148) ~
In
the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign
Peter the Roman,
who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the
seven-hilled
city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the
people.
Again, assuming Malachy is even right and Benedict XVI has only one pope to follow him, there is still another pope mentioned after Peter of Rome. Everyone assumes, of course, that the "dreadful Judge" will be God. However, it is possible this "judge" could be the "great Pontiff" from France.
Nostradamus says the following about this "great Pontiff":

The
great Celt will enter into Rome with a great mass of exiles and
banished: The great Pastor
will put to death every man who was united over the Alps against
the cock.
Nostradamus, Quatrain 5.79 ~
The
sacred pomp will come to lower its wings, at the coming of the
great judge: The
humble raised, the rebellious vexed, no emulator of his will be
born on earth.
Just as the end of the curent Mayan baktun may simply mark the beginning of yet another, the election of Malachy's dreadful Judge as pope may simply mark the beginning of a new Church Age rather than the end of the world. If the French pontiff is this figure it may well seem like the end of the world since a global war will depopulate the planet by at least several billion souls. Indeed, Rome will be destroyed and this French pope will be elected in exile near Avignon, not to enter the ruins of the Vatican in Rome for another 25 months.
Both the great Monarch of France and the great Pontiff of France, who I believe may be Cardinal Andr� Armand Vingt-Trois, will punish the promoters of war, and the enemies of the West, including "Mystic Antichrist" of "the North" (Russia). Vingt-Trois will also destroy the heresy of the whore of Babylon:

Pop superstar and Kabbalah high priestess Madonna
is currently the personification of the
"Whore of Babylon" who appears in the Book of
Revelation. Few people today doubt this any longer and
Madonna herself has gone to great lengths during the last
28 years to insinuate herself into this Biblical role ...
and has hardly been shy about it. As I predicted, she
conclusively established herself as this infamous female
at the 2012 Superbowl halftime show, dressed as the
goddesses Isis, Ishtar, Inanna and Freya. The title of
her new album, MDNA, is the tetragrammaton form for
Madonna, making her a god in name. Even now, the
bloodthirsty goddess is seeking human sacrifice by
suicide from all those worshippers who read her lyrics as
gospel, as exemplified in songs such as Gang Bang: I need you to die for me baby,
you have to die for me baby, that's right, you have to
die for me baby, how could I move on with my life, if you
didn't die for me baby, if you didn't die for me baby, I
need you to die for me baby. Yes, she has achieved a very high position. Still, it is a high position that is not entirely secured, one from which she can easily fall ... along with those closest to her. |
There is a battle within the ranks of the Illuminati between those who wish to make Madonna the "Whore of Babylon" and those who seek to get rid of Madonna and propel the much younger Lady Gaga into that role. Nostradamus' androgyne, Lady Gaga, has at least as many quatrains devoted to her as does Her Madgesty. And there are those who have not been entirely pleased with the media goddess at various times during her long career. The very existence of the Gaga creature endangers Godonna: unless MDNA plays her role to the hilt, TPTB shall have her killed and replaced by the Gaga.

"Monk" and "artisan" are
Masonic Tarot characters: "The Hermit" (monk)
and "The Artisan," The Juggler," "The
Magician," or "The Magus" (artisan). Thus,
an inner Illuminati conspiracy to bring about the death
of Madonna (Modena) may be what Quatrain 6.73 is all
about. In the Book of Revelations, the Magus figure, like
Simon Magus, becomes none other than the false
prophet. The monk/hermit lodged within the walls, in
his most dreaded aspect, becomes "the Michael
Myers" of celebrity stalkers, psycho zombie Robert
Dewey Hoskins. Hoskins was mysteriously released
from a mental hospital in February 2012, and was seeking
out Madonna and actress Halle Berry with the intention of
slitting their throats. Just as quickly as he became a
looming menace, he was recaptured on February 11 ... the
same day pop diva Whitney Houston was
discovered drowned facedown in a hotel bathtub, cocaine
and other drugs found in her system. Did Madonna's former manager and best friend Caresse Henry really commit suicide or was she sacrificed by TPTB as a warning to Madonna? Did TPTB go so far as to stalk a 58-year-old former actress, porn actress, centerfold, and model Anneka Vasta (Di Lorenzo) who appeared as Messalina in the X-rated film Caligula (1979), take her to the beach, strip her naked, break her neck, then make it look like she drowned in the sea? As a warning to Madonna? And if that was not enough, did they arrange the most sensational suicide in history using a well-known, multi-millionaire CEO's live-in girlfriend, Rebecca Zahau (Nalepa), binding her ankles and hands behind her, gagging her, and then hanging her naked from an outdoor balcony? |

And what of the Christmas Day fire that killed the three daughters and parents of fashion executive Madonna Badger? Two years ago I warned that Madonna's children are also at risk.
All of these deaths and close calls, and their possible connection to Madonna the entertainer, fall under the heading of "evidence": 1) evidence that she, and even her children, are indeed in danger of losing their lives in the very near future, 2) evidence that assassins for the Illuminati (whom Randy Quaid and his wife Eva called "Star Whackers") are demonstrating to Madge how clever, dangerous, arrogant, and unassailable they are (writing a cryptic suicide scrawl on the bedroom door of Rebecca Zahau in black paint), and how easily they can get away with the most grotesque of murders.

I have long argued (since January 2000) that
Madonna may be the enigmatic blonde female icon who is
murdered in Quatrain 1.39 -- a death which may or may not
be cult-related. There are prophetic and historical
pattern clues indicating decapitation or strangulation
will be the cause of death. Evidence suggests to me that
the bizarre September 1927 accidental
strangling death of superstar dancer and choreographer Isadora
Duncan and the November 2006
murder, made to look like suicide by hanging, of actress
Adrienne Shelly were both foreshadowings
of the "strangled supreme/elevated blonde"
tragedy of Quatrain 1.39. The circumstances of Shelly's death are eerily similar to the detailed scenario I have been describing regarding Madonna on this site for the last twelve years. Had Adrienne Shelly (who was a blonde) been a major film superstar, her death would have nearly fulfilled Quatrain 1.39. Likewise, the kinky, hanging "suicide" of Rebecca Zahau, girlfriend of Pharm CEO Jonah Shacknai ... had she been a blonde, due to the sensational nature of the suicide and the huge international media interest that resulted, I would have been forced to consider her very strange death as a fulfillment of Quatrain 1.39. |
The "empire" could be the Eurozone, threatened by austerity policies in Greece, Italy, and Spain, or the budding "Arab Empire" being set up by revolutions and civil wars in Egypt, Libya, and Syria.
Madonna has two base 7 timestamps of death the general public know about: May 1995, when stalker Robert Dewey Hoskins attempted to scale his way into her home and "slice her throat from ear to ear" (his threat in quotes) and August 2005, when she was badly injured after falling from a horse. The influence from 1995 failed to return in 2002 or 2009, but may again in 2016. The influence from 2005 is now in play in 2012. Hoskins' recent release (and subsequent recapture) also indicates that a danger from one set of years can cross over to the other set.
In any event, I believe the one who will fall victim to Quatrain 1.39 will be a world famous icon like Madonna, if not Madonna herself. This method of death (a strangling murder covered up to look like a suicide by hanging) is quite similar to the one US actor Randy Quaid and his wife Eva have warned the "Hollywood star whackers" were planning on carrying out against them, alleged did carry out against actor David Carradine and actress Lucy Gordon, and have reportedly said may carry out against Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson and others. The approaching vector of danger for a globally-famous, blonde female icon for August/September 2011 has passed, but continues "off year" for January 2012 (two close calls that month were Heather Locklear and Demi Moore), August 2012, December 2012, and November 2013.

These are odds that are much too high to ignore.
A New System of Numerology?
In January 1996, as the war in Chechnya escalated once again and the peace mission in Bosnia commenced against a backdrop of cease-fire violations, I began to wonder what the year ahead might bring. Despite my knowledge that conventional numerology operated in cycles of 9, I considered the mystical potential of the number 7.
I had long been aware that science, superstition, and the Bible displayed evidence that the number 7 was significant. For example, it takes seven years for the human body to replace all of its cells with new ones; smash a mirror and you'll supposedly have seven years bad luck; in the book of Genesis, the Creation took six days to complete and on the seventh day God rested (the basis of the seven-day week); in the book of Revelation there are seven seals, seven trumpets, seven vials, and seven years of tribulation, etc.
Might history repeat itself every 7 years or, if not every 7 years, then in multiples of seven years?
After exhausting many other possibilities in addition to 7, such as the numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, 17, 19, and others, I came to realise that the greatest number of historical events repeating again or in a pattern of repetition occurred when using 7 years or its multiples (such as 14, 21, 28, or 35). Some small success did occur with a few other numbers, such as 11 and 17, but it was quite meagre in comparison.
Looking back fourteen years, I recalled a rare celestial event which had not occurred since 1128 A.D. -- the so-called "Jupiter Effect" planetary alignment of March 1982. Fourteen is two cycles of seven (2 x 7). Perhaps we were due for another rare alignment, a supernova, or possibly an unusual comet in March 1996. You can imagine my shock when I learned of the coming of Comet Hyakutake, which passed nine million miles from the earth on March 25, 1996. Its last appearance so close to Earth? Not since 15,500 BC.
I
made other predictions that January as well.
Israel would invade Lebanon in June
(Israel invaded Lebanon during Operation Grapes of Wrath
in April 1996).
China would either crush democracy or
provoke a military crisis in the region sometime between
the Chinese New Year and June (China held war games in
the Strait of Taiwan, fired missiles off the coast of
Taiwan, threatened to nuke Los Angeles, and provoked a
U.S. naval armada into patrolling the East China Sea in
February and March 1996).
There would be an earthquake in New York
City in July (instead of an earthquake, TWA 800 exploded
over Long Island in July 1996).
There would be political unrest in the Balkans beginning in November and lasting through the end of the year (Serbia began anti-government demonstrations in November, joined by similar unrest in Bulgaria in December 1996; however, the whole Balkan mess didn't end until March and April 1997 with chaos in Albania).
It appeared I had either stumbled on to something radically new or something very ancient. All I knew is that the system worked.
However, I had made a number of unsuccessful predictions for 1996 as well. My accuracy rate for 1996, when it was over, was 81.4%.
It would be 1997 and 1998 which would prove to me that this system should be taken seriously. Although my accuracy rate for 1997 dipped to 79.6%, it increased once again to 81.4% in 1998.
I had maintained a consistent and impressive average for three years. But the conditions under which it succeeded would not come without a cost -- one which would change my life and my sense of purpose forever.
I call the system, as I have refined it, the base 7 system.

Nostradamus and the Final Age, is now being made available free on this website.
It is the first book ever to present Nostradamus' quatrains (four-line prophetic verses) and prose predictions as a comprehensive chronology covering a period of nearly 270 years.
