June 13, 2010: The "Hemingway Curse" is suicide. But it is highly unlikely that the surviving daughter, Mariel Hemingway, will go the way of Ernest and Margaux. Both died on the same base 7 timeline: 1961 and 1996 - 35 (5 x 7) years apart. Margaux's death was 14 (2 x 7) years ago. Mariel Hemingway leads a squeaky clean life unfettered by the troubles that plagued other members of her family. Recently she was the keynote speaker at a mental health conference.
Still, this alert must remain in place for July 2010 because accidents can still happen (car crash, for example). Also, in this crazy and getting crazier world, murder is always a danger.

June 13, 2010: Drew Barrymore is another "together" actress like Mariel Hemingway. The "Barrymore Curse" was last year when Drew's aunt, Diana Barrymore (d. 1960, suicide), fell on the base 7 timeline. The danger on this timeline comes from Drew's own past: addicted to drugs and alcohol since age 10 and in and out of rehab, she attempted suicide at age 15 by slashing her wrists 21 (3 x 7) years ago on July 4, 1989.
As with last year, this does not necessarily mean that Drew Barrymore is currently in danger from any sort of addictive or self-destructive behaviour at this time. However, one need only look back to February 2001 to see that danger can take many other forms:
On February 18, 2001, Drew Barrymore and her then-fiancé Tom Green escaped a fire that gutted their Los Angeles home. The star and her comedian boyfriend were alerted to the fire by their dog Flossie who barked as it spread through the two-storey house north of Beverley Hills. Sixty fire-fighters took about an hour to bring the blaze under coDee Dee Sharphe charred-out house was estimated at $700,000. The cause of the blaze was never determined. Had it not been for the house pet being on the premises, both Drew Barrymore and Tom Green would have burned to death.
Her death by fire would have been spectacular and tragic indeed. Thus, as unlikely as it may seem, Drew Barrymore could be in danger of accidental death or some other means (such as murder) once again in July 2010.

June 13, 2010: In December 1996, the world was shocked by the sex strangulation murder of a six-year-old girl from a wealthy family. The murder of JonBenet Ramsey remains unsolved to this very day. The little girl died 14 (2 x 7) years ago, yet already echoes of her murder are being felt ... and the abomination of what may be coming could be infinitely worse than the original crime.
Is ex-JonBenet suspect starting a child sex cult?
MSNBC - TODAY
10:58 a.m. ET, Wed., June 2, 2010
The man who once falsely confessed to the murder of child beauty contestant JonBenet Ramsey is now living as a woman and attempting to form a cult of little girls he intends to have sex with, his former fiancee said Wednesday. Nineteen-year-old Samantha Spiegel made the disturbing allegations to TODAYs Ann Curry in New York. She said she was once engaged to John Mark Karr and, under his sway, tried to recruit girls between the ages of 4 and 8 into a sex cult.
His mission is to create a cult that he wants to call The Immaculates, of little girls that would have sexual relationships with him and do whatever he wanted and just, like, be his little minions, Spiegel told NBC News Jeff Rossen in a report that aired on TODAY prior to her interview with Curry.
This cult could happen
Its not clear that Karr has done anything illegal, but police in California and Washington state would like to talk to him. But they cant find him: Karr is reportedly living as a woman under the name Alexis Valoran Reich and has a group of minions who help him stay out of sight by providing food and money and computers.
I think Im a victim of his, as a teenager under the age of 18. It wasnt that long ago, said Spiegel, who met Karr two years ago. She said she began to look for little girls to bring to him. It seemed like a good idea at the time, she told Curry. He was so persuasive. Hes very manipulative. Its a family that he had wanted, and I didnt want to get in the way of something he wanted.
This cult could happen. It hasnt happened yet, Spiegel told Curry. But Spiegels attorney, Robin Sax, told Curry that isnt necessarily true. Other people, we have evidence to show, are already actively engaged in this cult, Sax said.
In 2006, Karr sparked headlines when, while living in Thailand, he confessed to the sensational murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey in Colorado 10 years earlier. Prosecutors flew him back to the States to check out his story.
Although filled with chilling details, Karrs confession was rejected by investigators when his DNA did not match DNA taken from the scene. He was dismissed as a kook hungry for attention.
Spiegel told NBC News that she first met Karr when she was a 9-year-old fourth-grader at Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic School in San Francisco and he was a teachers assistant. Karr left that job and Spiegel had no contact with him until two years ago, after his arrest in Atlanta. Spiegel contacted him and fell under Karrs spell. When Karr asked her to recruit little girls for his Kiddie Cult, she readily agreed. When I was on the street, I would kind of size up children, girls. I thought about him meeting my niece or other friends that had young children, Spiegel said.
Spiegel, who said she now understands that what Karr wants to do is wrong, said she never got to the point of actually recruiting a girl for Karr. When she got engaged to the 46-year-old, Spiegels parents intervened and sent her to a rehab facility because of her drug use and her obsession with Karr, who has two previous marriages. One bride was 13 at the time of their marriage; the other was 16.
I will hunt you down
Spiegel said she stayed in rehab for 18 months. When she got out, she said she contacted Karr again to help police trying to build a case against him and find him. She finally told him she could not help him, and Karr threatened her. If you cost me my little girls, I will hunt you down and kill you, was one message she said he sent her. Another read, I only kill the girls I love the most.
John Mark Karr's twisted dream: a harem of little girls dressed provocatively like JonBenet Ramsey to be
used as sex slaves. As for his favourites, Karr's chilling words: I only kill the girls I love the most.
(Images from parents' beauty contest on Television Learning Channel's 'Toddlers in Tiaras')To protect herself, Spiegel got a restraining order against Karr in a San Francisco court in April. But police cant find Karr to serve the order. Spiegel said thats because Karrs minions look after him and he moves around a lot, sometimes staying in homeless shelters and sometimes getting rooms through Craigslist. Spiegel said shes coming forward because she wants to alert other impressionable girls that Karr/Reich is out there and looking for fresh prey.
This is something I would have liked someone to do for me, when I was in his grips, but no one was there to do that, she told Curry. I think its important for people to have awareness about what a person like John is capable of.
According to the most
recent reports (June 7, 2010), Karr surfaced in Atlanta, but had
already vanished again when authorities arrived. Then on June 8,
'After searching for more than a month, authorities finally
located John Mark Karr last Thursday at a familiar address
his fathers residence near Chastain Park. Sandy Springs
police, at the request of the San Francisco police, served Karr
with a restraining order on behalf of 19-year-old Samantha
Spiegel. The detectives met with Karr for about three
minutes and then left the residence, said police spokesman
Steve Rose, who declined to elaborate.'
End of story. Police are doing nothing along the lines of surveillance to make sure Karr does not make good on his "dream."
Karr also has a website where, as Alexis, he advertises his services as a nanny and an at-home grade school teacher. He is also reputedly seeking gender reassignment surgery."
Sound familiar?
In March 1997, the world discovered 39 bodies lying in bunk beds as the comet Hale-Bopp blazed in the sky. In one of the many videos the cult's leader, Marshall Applewhite (alias "Do"), revealed that he and the male members of the group had undergone castration surgery a year earlier.
A pedophile cult where the leader, a transgender male turned female, a whacko who looks eerily like the transvestite played by Michael Caine in Brian de Palma's movie Dressed to Kill, surrounds himself/herself with JonBenet-type "beauty queens" ages 4 to 9 (and conceivably in their teens too since he married a 13-year-old and 16-year-old) for sexual purposes is deranged enough ... almost deranged beyond belief. But note the chilling words of John Mark Karr: I will only kill the girls I love the most.
I cannot understand why this statement is being ignored! Clearly this person is planning not only on having sex with his harem of little girls, but intends to snuff out their very lives, one by one, when he feels the time is right ... replacing the murdered ones with more little sex slaves that will later meet the same fate. This is not a sex cult ... it is a sex and death cult!
Thus, with the 14th (2 x 7) anniversary of JonBenet Ramsey's sex strangulation murder coming up in December, could it be that this cult will turn into something even more horrible: a cult of little girls/underage girls who will be use for sex and then murdered???
If police can be believed, Other people, we have evidence to show, are already actively engaged in this cult.
NOTE ABOUT BLUE ALERT SYSTEM (3/11/03): Some of you may recall a few years back when I used "name blends" -- rhyming sounds and off-rhyme clues frommm part of one name to determine what the next name in the sequence might be (or later in the year). An example was the death of Layne Stahley and how "Layne" led to "Lynne" then "Linda" and the car crash death of Linda Lovelace which followed. I surmised that "Lace" in "Lovelace" might lead to a "Leese" then "Lisa" tragedy. The next day, Lisa Lopes of TLC was killed in a car crash.
Rather than create a whole other section on this page for name blends, I will instead highlight certain names in the lists below in light blue that I feel may be influenced by celebrity deaths that have occurred this year.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON EXCLUSIONS (1/23/04): We acknowledge the passing of dancer and actress Ann Miller, age 81, and note with great regret the passing of Bob Keeshan (Captain Kangaroo), age 76. However, it is no longer the mission of this website to address the deaths of celebrities who are of advanced age or those who have had a long term health problem and are in their early elderly years. Such deaths are largely inevitable and often beyond any purposeful prediction. Also, the one and only applicable sound in Mr Keeshan's name ("eeeee") we now consider to be far too common to be remarkable or in any way useful for predictive purposes. Ergo, save for certain celebrities of advanced or elderly age who may appear on the prediction lists, we will no longer be publishing their obituaries and including comments.
It is, after all, premature death that we are most concerned about.
Prominent name sounds must also be present. "Ray", for example, is a prominent sound, "Ay", on the other hand, is not. This distinction will become more clear as we progress through the year.
ANSWER TO POSSIBLE QUESTION: Hey ... why all the chicks on here and hardly no MEN??? (6/9/07):
Sometimes that is the way it works out.
Charles Nelson Reilly was over 70. Singer Don Ho was over 70. Remember that this page is largely concerned with PREMATURE DEATH or disability/serious mishaps. There are some over-70 celebrities that appear on the lists, but only because I strongly feel they may be at some special risk at this time. Lloyd Alexander was a writer and I have not spread the celebrity base out so far as to include writers (save for a few well-known poets). So I do not report them as a rule if anything happens to one, even if his/her name conforms to a name sound. Alexander was also over 70. Gordon Scott was over 80. Tom Poston was over 70. Tommy Newsom was well over 70, almost 80 ... and so on. I won't continue listing the male celebs who were over 70 or 80 any further; you get the picture.
Al Hunter Ashton was a writer. Note what I said about not yet expanding the base to include authors, save for a few poets. Sci-fi writer Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. would have appeared on a list if I had thought of a base 7 section for this page in time. Instead, his death inspired the base 7 section. Bobby "Boris" Pickett, who sang the classic "Monster Mash", was 69. Luther Ingram, who sang "If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Want to Be Right" (a song I really like), was also 69. That is close enough to 70 to not bother. Don't get me wrong .. I realise that 70 is "the new 60" and 60 is "the new 50" and 50 is "the new 40" and 40 is "the new 30" and 30 is "the new 20," but until everybody agrees on that, I will be forced to treat 70 and above the old fashioned way.
Directors like Benjamin "Bob" Clark also are not yet included in the base, unless they are extremely famous (like the late Stanley Kubrick or the recently deceased Robert Altman, but again the name sounds must match even for the very famous). The same is largely true about politicians. Comedian Richard Jeni and Boston frontman Brad Delp did not match any of the name sounds, so I could not report on their deaths.
There are a few males listed such as Denny Doherty of Mamas and the Papas fame. But the truth is, males have been very careful this year not to get into the kind of scrapes that the women on this page have gotten into. And most of the men who have died have been over 70.
It will be noted, however, that so far this year the total number of celebs, male and female, on this page is rather sparse anyway compared to past years. Both men and women have been more careful than in the past, it would appear. Especially since the death of Anna Nicole Smith in February.
UPDATE (6/13/10): My apologies yet again for a very late debut of the Celebrity Deaths and Mishaps page for the year 2010! Due to my father's death from cancer last year in April, having to balance my time as a caregiver for my mother with running this site, and problems I have had with gout and bursistis this year, progress on my entire website has been slowed considerably. Thus, because it is now mid-June 2010, this page will prove useless for prediction purposes for the expired period of January 1, 2008 through June 13, 2010 quite obviously. However, it will still prove invaluable as a predictive guide for the final six-and-a-half months of 2010 and we can of course look over what has happened in the last six months and see what celebrities have already matched with the name sounds for this year.
Obviously, I will not be posting all of the pertinent celebrity deaths and mishaps that have occurred so far this year all at one time. They will be posted over the coming days and weeks, in no particular order. Of course, they must relate to the name sounds lists or the conditions in the base 7 section to appear on this page. Any name that is in orange on the predictions list (such as Lena Horne) relates to the first six months of 2010 and will not be considered a "prediction fulfilled" (since I cannot actually prove the name would have appeared on the list back in January). Meantime, beginning right now, anyone new for the remainder of the year who I feel relates to this page's conditions will be posted and, if the name is listed, will count as a prediction fulfilled.
So as not to waste more valuable time, I will skip doing a summary for 2009 for now. Perhaps I may feel like attending to that another time. If I do, it will appear on Celebrity Deaths and Mishaps Archives 17 at the appropriate location near the top part of the page.
We note the untimely passing of Teddy Pendergrass, Kate McGarrigle, Caroline McWilliams, Andrew Koenig, Corey Haim, Alex Chilton, and Gary Coleman. None of these celebrities appeared on the predictions list for this year. Also gone are Jean Simmons, Pernell Roberts, Kathryn Grayson, Robert Culp, John Forsythe, Lynn Redgrave, Lena Horne, Art Linkletter, Dennis Hopper, and Rue McClanahan.

ESPN's Andrews gets death threatsLOS
ANGELES The Associated Press Erin Andrews has been getting death threats in a stream of e-mails to a media outlet, an attorney for the ESPN reporter and Dancing with the Stars contestant said Friday. Attorney Marshall Grossman said that a man had sent at least a dozen e-mails since September threatening Andrews. DirecTV provided them to Andrews' representatives Thursday, but it was not immediately clear to whom the e-mails were addressed. The e-mails were at first sexual, but the most recent were explicitly violent and threatened Erin with murder, Grossman said. They also had details about location and method. The messages discuss the case of Michael David Barrett, who was sentenced last month to 21/2 years in federal prison for secretly shooting nude videos of the ESPN reporter. He refers to Barrett in his e-mail in a way to make clear to us that situation had some influence, Grossman said, but added that the man appeared to have no ties to Barrett. The FBI has been notified, Grossman said. He said the man's identity is known to law enforcement and is believed to live on the East Coast. An e-mail message left for an FBI spokeswoman was not immediately returned. Andrews is not yet seeking a restraining order but has asked ABC to beef up its security on Dancing with the Stars , Grossman said. Private security also has been hired to protect Andrews and her family. Andrews has no plans of quitting the show. She's not the type to be easily threatened, Grossman said. She has every intention to meet her obligations. 'Dancing With the Stars' and ESPN's Erin Andrews threatened with 'suicide vest' in death threatNY Daily News Saturday, April 3rd 2010, 4:21 PM ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has been receiving email death threats - less than two years after another stalker video-taped her through hotel room keyholes. ESPN's Erin Andrews receives death threats via e-mail. The creep who targeted stunning ESPN reporter Erin Andrews with death threats claimed he wanted to show her his "suicide vest," according to law enforcement sources in Los Angeles. New details emerged yesterday about the chilling e-mails the man sent to a Connecticut-based sports show laying out the stalker's desire to see Andrews dead. "I would love to get close enough to her to show her my suicide vest," he wrote in one e-mail on March 14, celebrity Web site TMZ.com reported yesterday. A few weeks later he wrote: "I hope she gets shot in the face. I would love to see if she can dance away from a hail of gunfire. That would really make my day." Andrews, 31, who is currently in Los Angeles where she is a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars," has been victimized previously. A man videotaped her nude through the peepholes of her hotel rooms in three different states in 2008. Michael Barrett, 49, then posted the videos on the Internet and tried to sell them to TMZ.com. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison last month, and cops say some of the e-mails from this latest psycho also mention the case against Barrett. They started off sexual in content but later turned violent, police said. Officials say they know the identity of the Newport News, Va., man who sent the latest notes, which number at least a dozen, because he made no attempt to hide his name. The first one was received by "The Dan Patrick Show" on Sept. 16, and the program's broadcaster, DirecTV, swiftly turned them over to Andrews' representatives. "Dear Dan: I hope Erin Andrews gets murdered in L.A.," one of the most recent e-mails, sent on March 29, said. Andrews' lawyer, Marshall Grossman, said the FBI has been brought in to handle the case, and the ESPN presenter had no plans to quit "Dancing with the Stars." She has yet to seek a restraining order against the sender but has asked ABC to beef up its security on the popular reality television show while she remains a contestant. "She's not the type to be easily threatened," Grossman said. Erin Andrews Gun Threat Posted Apr 9th 2010 3:00AM by TMZ Staff
TMZ broke the story that a man in Newport News, Virginia has been sending sexual and violent emails to ESPN's Andrews since September. The emails -- all sent to DirecTV's "The Dan Patrick Show" -- turned violent and threatening in late March. On March 29, the man wrote, "I would like to see if Erin Andrews can dance her way through a hail of gunfire. Better yet I would love to shoot her with a Barrett rifle. Get the pun -- her stalker was mr. Barrett and the barrett rifle is an ultra expensive 50 cl. rifle with a range over a mile." In spite of this email and others, law enforcement sources tell us the FBI is resistant to making an arrest, because authorities believe the author is engaging in free speech ... which is protected. By the way, sources familiar with the author tell us he's 6'9" and very bulky. |
COMMENTS (6/17/10): The deadly stalking of Erin Andrews is also a RED ALERT for my prediction concerning a Female Newscaster in Danger of Death in October 2011. It will be noted that the "drew" sound is repeated again with the untimely death of Andrew Koenig, and is likely an influence of the base 7 alignment of actress Drew Barrymore's attempted suicide in 1989.
Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail, 90 Days of RehabABC News July 6, 2010 Bawling and broken, Lindsay Lohan learned today that she's going back to jail. Beverly Hills judge Marsha Revel declared the 24-year-old starlet in violation of probation for her 2007 DUI conviction for failing to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes. Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in-patient rehab. Following Revel's ruling, Lohan broke down sobbing, barely sputtering a "yes" when Revel asked if she understood and accepted the terms of her probation. Revel ordered Lohan to surrender on July 20 at 8:30 a.m. PT. According to Steve Whitmore, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department, Lohan will serve her time at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California and will be segregated from the general jail population. Lohan may only end up serving a few weeks of her 90 day jail sentence -- Whitmore noted that "female, non-violent prisoners will do about 25-percent of their sentence" because L.A. jails suffer from "an overcrowding sitution." After the hearing, Lisa Bloom, the attorney for Lohan's estranged father, Michael, said that if the starlet had followed their advice and gone to rehab, she might not be facing jail time now. Michael Lohan has long maintained that his daughter is addicted to prescription drugs. "If she had gone to rehab anytime over the last several months, when we were begging her to go to rehab, she could have avoided all of this," Bloom said. "Where she belongs is rehab. We don't believe incarceration is the place for addicts." Prior to learning her fate, Lohan pleaded her case to the court. "I just wanted to take a minute to say that, as far as I knew, I was being in compliance with my programs," she started. "When I asked to leave town, [the alcohol ed program] would give me permission to leave town." I wasn't expecting any special treatment aside from the understanding that I have to provide for myself, I have to work. My schedule is, unfortunately, very different," she continued. "Having said that, I did do everything I was told to do and did the best I could to balance jobs and showing up." Then, the tears started flowing. Lohan held her head in her hands as she attempted to compose herself. She went on talking, and at times, sounded incomprehensible. "I know that I was ordered to go once a week. ... I was working, mostly, I was working with children, it wasn't vacation, it wasn't some sort of a joke," she said, sniffling. "I wanted to make sure that I would come back here making you happy and the court system." Lohan pulled herself together for the conclusion of her monologue. "I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life, it's my career," she said. "I've learned from my experiences, I take responsibility for my actions, I've tried to do the best I can." Her best wasn't good enough in the court's eyes. "She knew [the prosecutor] would be asking for jail time and yet still after all that, she didn't comply with the court order and the court does find her in violation of her probation," Revel said. Prosecutor Danette Meyers went to great lengths to show the degree to which Lohan violated her probation by failing to attend weekly alcohol education classes according to the schedule set by Revel. Lindsay Lohan sobs as she's sentenced to 90 days in jail Mail Online 1:21 AM on 7th July 2010 Lindsay Lohan broke down in tears as she was sentenced to 90 days in jail after violating her probation. The stunned actress sobbed as the Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel handed down the term and blasted her for not taking her probation in two 2007 drink driving cases seriously. Lohan, who will start her sentence on July 20, must also serve 90 days as an inpatient on a substance abuse programme once she is released from jail. The actress had tearfully addressed the judge in a last attempt to avoid jail after it was ruled she violated her probation by repeatedly missing court-ordered alcohol education classes. Lohan protested she did not realise she had not been keeping up with the order and insisted a busy work schedule had stopped her attending regularly. She maintained: 'I was taking it seriously. I wasn't expecting any special treatment.''I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life and my career, something I have worked for my entire life.' She was handed a box of tissues to wipe her eyes as the tears flowed. Lohan told the judge: 'I have tried to do the best I can. It's just been such a long haul. I don't want you to think I don't respect you and your terms. 'I really did think I was doing what I was supposed to do, and I mean it with all my heart.' But the judge wasn't buying, saying: "I couldn't have been more clear [about my orders]. There are no excuses.' The Beverly Hills court heard Lohan repeatedly missed once-weekly classes at an alcohol-education program. Lohan had failed to attend the program at least nine times since October 16, the court heard. Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley claimed Lohan had done well by meeting the overall terms of her probation. She urged the judge not to punish Lohan too severely because she 'did the best she could under extremely difficult circumstances.'Lohan was on probation after two DUI offences in less than two months in 2007. On May 26, 2007, the actress was in a Mercedes-Benz that crashed into a hedge along Sunset Boulevard. Less than two months later she was arrested in Santa Monica on suspicion of drink driving. Lohan later pleaded no contest to two counts each of drunken driving and being under the influence of cocaine, and one count of reckless driving. She spent 84 minutes in jail and was placed on three years probation. Lohan's probation was extended for a year in October after she missed some alcohol-education classes while making a movie in Texas. In May she failed to show up for a court hearing because she was at the Cannes Film Festival. Her legal team claimed she was stranded in France after her passport was stolen. Lohan eventually made it to court four days late, when she was ordered to wear a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet as a condition of her release on bail pending today's probation hearing. She was also ordered to undergo random drug testing, among other conditions. On June 6 the SCRAM bracelet indicated Lohan may have violated her bail by consuming alcohol after the MTV Movie Awards. The judge doubled Lohan's bail and the actress posted a bond with the court, allowing her to remain out of custody. At today's hearing Revel did not consider the SCRAM anklet as part of her determination of whether Lohan violated probation. The judge conceded Lohan was ordered to wear the SCRAM device as a condition of her bail when she appeared in court in May, not when she was placed on probation. Lohan was ordered to continue wearing the SCRAM device until she reports to jail. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail for the reckless driving case, 30 days consecutive for the first DUI case and another 30 days consecutive for the second drink driving case. Lindsay, who swapped her outfit half way through proceedings, will start her sentence July 20. |
COMMENTS
(7/9/10): Lindsay Lohan appears in orange in the list above. As I
mentioned in the foreward, names in orange relate to an event or
events occurring during the first six months of 2010 and will not
be considered a "prediction fulfilled." I was to have
posted Lohan's failure to appear at court on time when she was at
the Cannes Film Festial in May ... and the danger of her possibly
having to go to prison. I was also to post the SCRAM bracelet
incident of June 6 where it detected that she had been drinking
alcohol.
However, what has now taken place after June 13 when I put this page together ... Lindsay Lohan's pending 90 day jail sentence handed down on July 6 ... eclipses anything that occurred in May or early June. Thus, the orange colouring of her name in this instance should be looked upon as a code blue instead. It stands right out like the true omen it is, not only for the jail time Lohan faces, but potentially for the psychological damage this may cause. I do not think I am exaggerating when I say that Lindsay's self destructive behaviour may become much worse and that even a suicide watch should be put into place. The danger of sudden death by some form of suicide may not actually come until August of next year (the Marilyn Monroe/Diana/Sharon Tate/Carole Landis/Carole Lombard/Thelma Todd/etc death line). The "lin" sound in Lindsay's name (LIN-dsay) has ripples of Mari-LYN Monroe and the "low" sound in Lindsay's name (LO-han) has echoes of Marilyn Mon-ROE (making her Sadie Lynn Hanlow in anagram). She is also one double initial removed form Marilyn Monroe's (L.L. compared to M.M.).
However, certain other influences from this year's death line now dominate: actress Virginia Maskell's suicide by drugs overdose in 1968, actress Grace Kelly's car crash death in 1982, actress Dominique Dunne's strangulation murder in 1982, the double suicide of actresses Brenda Benet and Romy Schneider in 1982, actress Margaux Hemingway's drugs overdose suicide in 1996, and actress Lana Clarkson's mysterious gun-shooting-off-in-mouth murder (or kinky spontaneous suicide) in 2003. None of this bodes well for shattered Lindsay. Lindsay posed nude for a photographer with a gun in her mouth, Lana Clarkson style, in April and released the image to the Internet. Add to this that Lindsay is starring in a biopic about the late porn legend and deep throater Linda Lovelace (who died from injuries sustained in a car crash in 2002), and two other influences suddenly present themselves: the car crash death of porn actress Holly Landers in 2003 and the hanging suicide of porn actress Kristine Heller in 1989.
All-in-all, the base 7 influences for Lindsay Lohan are truly terrible as she is also following in the steps of once drug-and-alcohol-addicted actress Drew Barrymore who attempted suicide in 1989.
Jennifer Aniston files restraining order against stalker
Trust of India
Thursday, July 22, 2010 (Los Angeles)
Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston was left fearing for her
life after being stalked by a man who claimed that she had asked
him to be the father of her children.
The Friends star had to file a restraining order against Jason Peyton alleging that he embarked on an "aggressive pattern of harassment", reported Los Angeles Times.
"Mr Peyton has aggressively sought to have personal contact with me and integrate himself into my life...His ongoing, ever-increasing, aggressive and harassing conduct are extremely distressing. I fear for my personal safety and that of those around me," the actress stated in a signed court declaration.
The 41-year-old filed the restraining order against Peyton after he drove across the US on a mission to track her down in Los Angeles.
Court documents claim that cops found the 24-year-old sitting in his car on July 15 this year, waiting for the actress with a sharp tool and a roll of duct tape.
"Mr Peyton had, among other things, a sharp object, a bag, a roll of duct tape, a variety of DVDs of movies in which Aniston appears, and a notebook and various scraps of loose paper on which he wrote a variety of messages to Aniston," the legal papers reveal.
He had even scratched 'I love Jennifer Aniston' down the side and along the bonnet of his car and was carrying a list of potential baby names for the children he intended to father with Aniston.
Peyton, who was arrested and placed on a psychiatric hold, is obsessed with Aniston.
Police caught up with him after he left a note for his father on June 25 in Pennsylvania, stating he was going to California. His father realised he was going to find Aniston and alerted the police.
According to the court papers, he has attempted suicide four times and has physically battered and attacked his own mother on numerous occasions.
He also allegedly stalked and harassed a female neighbour who he is believed to have planned to abduct, resulting in "multiple police holds and mental evaluations and ultimately several arrests".

David Nelson dies at 74; last surviving member of the TV sitcom family
Los Angeles Times
January 12, 2011
David Nelson, the elder son of Ozzie and Harriet
Nelson and the last surviving member of the family that became an
American institution in the 1950s and '60s as the stars of the
classic TV sitcom "The Adventures of Ozzie and
Harriet," died Tuesday. He was 74.
Nelson died at his Century City home of complications from colon cancer, said publicist Dale Olson.
"The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" began on radio in 1944, focusing on the home life of bandleader Ozzie Nelson and his vocalist wife, Harriet Hilliard. In 1949, the popular show became a true family affair when 12-year-old David and 8-year-old Ricky replaced the child actors who had been portraying them on radio.
"The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" moved to television three years later, debuting on ABC in October 1952. When the series ended in 1966 after 435 episodes, it had become the longest-running family situation comedy in TV history as well as serving as the launch pad and showcase for teen idol Rick Nelson's singing career.
In the process of playing fictionalized versions of themselves on television each week for 14 years, David and Rick Nelson literally grew up in front of millions of Americans. Indeed, after David and Rick were married in the early '60s, their wives first David's wife, actress June Blair, and then Rick's wife, the former Kris Harmon became their TV wives.
The blurring of what was real and what was not real caused confusion in some viewers' minds. When David enrolled at USC and joined a fraternity after graduating from Hollywood High School in 1954, his TV character started college and joined a fraternity. But unlike his TV character, who became a lawyer on the show, David did not go into law.
Instead, he launched his career as a director by taking the reins from his director-father for about a dozen episodes of the show in the early '60s. He spent the next several decades directing commercials and occasional TV series and movies.
"The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" has been criticized for presenting an idealized version of American family life that few could live up to. That included the Nelsons, as David pointed out in a 1971 Esquire article headlined "The Happy, Happy, Happy Nelsons."
"We would keep up the front of this totally problemless, happy-go-lucky group," he said. "There might have been a tremendous battle in our home, but if someone from outside came in, it would be as if the director yelled, 'Roll 'em,' We'd fall right into our stage roles.

Zsa Zsa Gabor in critical condition
Road Runner
Monday, July 19, 2010
LOS ANGELES Actress Zsa
Zsa Gabor
was in
critical condition Friday after undergoing hip replacement
surgery earlier in the week, her husband said.
Gabor, 93, had injuries to the right side of her body, including a broken hip, after she fell out of bed last weekend trying to get into a wheelchair at her Bel-Air home, said Prince Frederic von Anhalt, Gabor's husband.
Gabor initially appeared to be recovering after the hip surgery Monday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, her publicist John Blanchette said.Blanchette said von Anhalt told him Friday that "doctors were working very hard to stabilize her."
"Right now she's not communicative," Blanchette said. "Only time will tell." He said doctors had taken Gabor off morphine and were putting her on another painkiller with the hope that would help the situation.
Blanchette said earlier Friday the actress might have suffered a stroke during surgery, but von Anhalt said doctors have not confirmed there was a stroke.
"It's just speculation," von Anhalt said. "We have to wait a few more days to see what is going on." Von Anhalt said his wife was conscious. "She looks at us but doesn't know what is going on," he said.
Zsa Zsa Gabor surgery reported successful
CBC News
Monday, July 19, 2010
Former actress and
socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor has emerged from a successful
hip-replacement operation after suffering a fall at her Bel Air
home over the weekend.
Gabor, 93, is recovering from a 3½-hour surgery at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, according to her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt. Von Anhalt, Gabor's ninth husband, said there were no problems during the operation and the surgeon was happy with the outcome.
According to her publicist, John Blanchette, Gabor was watching television Saturday night at her home in the affluent Los Angeles neighbourhood, and fell when she reached to answer a telephone call.
Gabor has been partially paralyzed since 2002, when she was the passenger in a car that struck a telephone pole.
Born in Hungary, the former beauty queen's acting credits include dozens of films, such as 1952's Moulin Rouge, and a few stage roles. Later, she often appeared in cameos portraying herself, as in films like Pepe, The Naked Gun 2 1/2 and TV shows such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Along with her late sister Eva, who starred in the TV series Green Acres, Gabor became renowned for her high-profile marriages and posh lifestyle. She also made headlines in 1990 after being found guilty of assault for slapping a police officer when stopped for a traffic violation.
Gabor has one daughter, actress Constance Francesca Hilton, from her short-lived second marriage to hotel mogul Conrad Hilton.
COMMENTS (8/9/10): Actually, Zsa Zsa Gabor is listed in the prediction list, but mistakenly under her sister's name, Eva Gabor (last name misspelled by me as Gabore). I always got the two sisters mixed up. But Eva Gabor being listed at all is truly silly since she died fifteen years ago in 1995. It is obvious that I intended the living sister, Zsa Zsa, so there it is.
Zsa Zsa Gabor suffers 'massive blood clot,' publicist says
November 13, 2010 -- Updated 0129 GMT (0929 HKT)
Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- Actress Zsa Zsa
Gabor was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Friday after her
doctor diagnosed her with "a massive blood clot," her
publicist said. Gabor's left leg was "swollen like
hell" and she had an infection in her right leg, her
husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, said Friday evening, as his
wife was being treated in the emergency room at Ronald Reagan
UCLA Medical Center. She had "no blood flow to her
leg," Von Anhalt said.
Gabor "was complaining about her leg swelling and hurting her" Friday morning, so a doctor was called to her Bel Air, California, home, publicist John Blanchette said. The doctor diagnosed Gabor with a "massive blood clot," which he feared could move from her leg to her heart, Blanchette said. Paramedics took Gabor, 93, to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she had undergone hip replacement surgery in July, he said. She spent several weeks in the hospital over the summer.
She has been frail and "pretty much confined to a wheelchair" since a 2002 car accident, Von Anhalt said. The crash happened when the car in which she was riding with her hairdresser slammed into a light pole on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The glamorous Hungarian-born actress, the second of the three celebrated Gabor sisters, is most famous for her many marriages. Among her husbands was Oscar-winning actor George Sanders. Her more prominent films include John Huston's 1952 Toulouse-Lautrec biopic, "Moulin Rouge;" "The Story of Three Loves" in 1953; "The Girl in the Kremlin" in 1957; and Orson Welles' 1958 classic, "Touch of Evil."
Zsa Zsa Gabor is unresponsive, hospitalized, husband says
May 19, 2011 -- Updated 1243 GMT (2043 HKT
Los Angeles (CNN) -- Zsa Zsa Gabor
suffered another health setback Wednesday morning, the latest in
a series of medical struggles for the 94-year-old actress, her
husband said. "She got into a little coma," Prince
Frederic von Anhalt said.
Gabor was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Tuesday afternoon because the feeding tube inserted into her stomach was "bleeding ... like a fountain," her spokesman said.
She had been released from the same hospital a day earlier after being treated for pneumonia.
Doctors were working hard on her Wednesday afternoon, von Anhalt said. "She doesn't respond," Prince Frederic von Anhalt said. He said she is suffering from a stomach infection.
Gabor, 94, has been in and out of the hospital many times in the past year. She underwent hip replacement surgery last summer and a leg amputation several months later. She has been unable to walk since a 2002 car accident.
The Hungarian-born actress, the second of the three celebrated Gabor sisters, is famous for her many marriages and strong personality.
Her more prominent films include John Huston's Toulouse-Lautrec biopic "Moulin Rouge" in 1952, "The Story of Three Loves" in 1953, "The Girl in the Kremlin" in 1957 and Orson Welles' 1958 cult classic, "Touch of Evil."

Eva Longoria Parker Hurt in Traffic Accident
CBS News
October 21, 2010 9:07 AM
LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) Actress Eva Longoria Parker suffered only minor injuries after being involved in a minor car accident Wednesday evening in Hollywood.
The "Desperate Housewives" star was driving eastbound on Hollywood Boulevard at about 7:30 p.m. when another car made a left turn into a parking lot and hit Longoria Parker's car.
The 35-year-old actress complained of pain but was not seriously hurt, according to Los Angeles police Sgt. Kara Silverstein of the department's West Traffic Division.
Longoria Parker plays the role of Gabrielle Solis on the ABC show. She is also a spokesperson for L'Oreal cosmetics and is married to basketball star Tony Parker.
COMMENTS (11/19/10): Eva Longoria is named in the prediction list above. Her married name, Parker, is also nearly all there with the "ark" and "er" sounds ... only the first letter, "P" is missing. The "Long" sound may get her in real trouble in November 2011, the seventh anniversary of actress Shelley Long's suicide attempt, especially if someone tries to "park her."
Elizabeth Taylor dead at 79
March 23, 2011 -- Updated 1452 GMT (2252 HKT)
(CNN) -- Elizabeth Taylor, the legendary actress
famed for her beauty, her jet-set lifestyle, her charitable
endeavors and her many marriages, has died, her publicist told
CNN Wednesday. She was 79. Taylor died "peacefully today in
Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles," said a statement from
her publicist.
She was hospitalized six weeks ago with congestive heart failure, "a condition with which she had struggled for many years. Though she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home. Sadly, this was not to be."
Though a two-time Oscar winner -- for "Butterfield 8" (1960) and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" (1966) -- Taylor was more celebrated for simply being Elizabeth Taylor: sexy, glamorous, tempestuous, fragile, always trailing courtiers, media and fans. She wasn't above playing to that image -- she had a fragrance called "White Diamonds" -- or mocking it. "I am a very committed wife," she once said. "And I should be committed too -- for being married so many times."
She was hailed, in her prime, as the world's most beautiful and desirable woman.
Her affair with actor Richard Burton, which began on the set of the film "Cleopatra," fueled a paparazzi rush unrivaled in its time. The two later married -- twice -- providing gossip columns and movie magazines with a wealth of material.
But Taylor could also be an effective and arresting actress. Her harrowing performance in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" (1966), opposite Burton, showed her as shrewish, plain, embittered -- the complete opposite of her real-life image. She also gave sharp performances in "Giant" (1956), "Raintree County" (1957), "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (1958) -- three films that helped build her reputation as a worldwide sex symbol -- "The Sandpiper" (1965) and "Reflections in a Golden Eye" (1967).
Taylor was a champion for a number of charitable causes, notably the fight against AIDS. She founded the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation after the death of her friend Rock Hudson, and plowed both her time and money into its work, especially as her acting career waned in the 1980s. The BBC once noted that her charity work had grossed as much as her film career.
Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor was born February 27, 1932, in London, the daughter of two wealthy American art dealers, Francis and Sara Taylor. Her mother was a former actress who had given up the career when she married, but encouraged her daughter in the pursuit. Indeed, Elizabeth Taylor and her mother were to remain extremely close until the latter's death in 1994, at age 99.
Just after World War II began, her parents moved
back to the United States and settled in Los Angeles, where
Francis Taylor catered to a high-level clientele. Young Elizabeth
was noted early on for her looks: According to one perhaps
apocryphal story, she was spotted by a talent scout who suggested
her for Bonnie Blue Butler in "Gone With the Wind," but
the idea was reportedly shot down by her father.
Nevertheless, she eventually made her debut for Universal, which placed her in 1942's "There's One Born Every Minute." Taylor was then signed by MGM, which was to be her home for almost two decades, and made "Lassie Come Home," opposite Roddy McDowall. The actor became a devoted friend. But it was Taylor's next film, 1944's "National Velvet," that made her a star. The story of a girl in love with her horse earned her public adulation -- and her equine co-star, The Pie. (Her other co-star, Mickey Rooney, was taken.) For the rest of the 1940s, she was an MGM regular, some of her films winners -- the 1949 version of "Little Women" -- and others, quickly forgotten, such as "Julia Misbehaves."
In 1950, Taylor turned 18 and had her first hit as an adult, the classic "Father of the Bride," in which she played Spencer Tracy's soon-to-be-married daughter. Real life mirrored art when Taylor decided to marry hotel heir Conrad "Nicky" Hilton Jr., but the marriage wasn't nearly as successful as the film: it lasted just eight months.
Critical acclaim arrived with Taylor's next film, "A Place in the Sun," based on the Theodore Dreiser novel "An American Tragedy." Taylor played the beautiful woman pursued by Montgomery Clift, who kills his pregnant girlfriend (Shelley Winters) while boating. The film received nine Academy Award nominations, but Taylor was shut out. It wasn't until 1958 that Taylor received her first Oscar nomination, for 1957's "Raintree County." By then, she was an even bigger star than before, and known as much for her off-screen romances as her on-screen talent.
She married actor Michael Wilding -- 20 years her senior -- in 1952, a marriage that lasted five years and produced two children, and then Hollywood producer Mike Todd a week after her divorce from Wilding. And after some sluggish work in the early '50s, she was appearing in some renowned films, notably 1956's "Giant" opposite James Dean and Rock Hudson. Todd suggested her for the role of Maggie the Cat in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (1958), and Taylor steamed up the screen, spending a good part of the movie slinking around in a slip.
Todd died in a plane crash in March 1958. Upon his death, Taylor was comforted by Todd's best friend, actor and singer Eddie Fisher. The comforting turned into an affair, complete with bold headlines, which broke apart Fisher's marriage to "America's sweetheart," actress Debbie Reynolds. Taylor was now "the other woman," scorned as a homewrecker -- and, based on box office returns, more popular than ever.
Fisher and Taylor married in 1959 and appeared opposite each other in the next year's "Butterfield 8," with Taylor cast as a sexually carnivorous party girl. Though she disliked the film, her performance -- and a sudden case of pneumonia that threatened her life -- invited the sympathy of the Motion Picture Academy, and she finally won an Oscar. "I lost to a tracheotomy," fellow nominee Shirley MacLaine quipped.
In 1960, now perhaps the most famous actress in the world, Taylor was offered the lead in 20th Century Fox's production of "Cleopatra." Taylor demanded $1 million -- the highest fee demanded by an actress up to that time. Producer Walter Wanger agreed, and the adventure of "Cleopatra" -- which would consume the showbiz world in ways unknown in the early '60s -- began. (Fisher's ex-wife, Reynolds, would become the second woman to make $1 million for a picture.) The movie seemed gripped by a curse. Taylor's illnesses -- there were more than one -- caused delays, forced casting changes and prompting the production to move from London to Rome. The original director, old Hollywood hand Rouben Mamoulian, was forced out and replaced by Joseph Mankiewicz ("All About Eve"). Weather wiped out days of filming and labor unrest undid more, pushing the budget, which was originally about $5 million, to $44 million -- almost $300 million in 2010 dollars, more than "Avatar."
And then there was one of the new actors, Richard Burton, who was cast as Marc Antony when Stephen Boyd had to leave the production. Burton, who was already known as much for his philandering ways as his Shakespearean expertise, had initially thought little of Taylor beyond her beauty. But he was quickly smitten: "He tried to end it, but he kept turning around and coming back to her," Mankiewicz's son Tom told Taylor biographer William J. Mann. "He just couldn't help himself. He couldn't get enough of her." The two were inseparable -- and very publicly so. Pictures of the couple finally prompted Burton's long-suffering wife, Sybil -- who had attempted suicide -- to file for divorce. Gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, both friend and foe to Taylor over the years, called her "sick." The Vatican released a message directed at her, saying she was guilty of "erotic vagrancy." A U.S. congresswoman even introduced a bill banning Taylor and Burton -- or "Liz 'n' Dick," as they were becoming known -- from the United States. In response, Taylor asserted, "I will never go back to America."
But America couldn't get
enough of "Le Scandale." "Cleopatra" actually
did well at the box office -- though not well enough to
immediately escape its red ink: it took three years for 20th
Century Fox to make its money back, and Taylor and Burton were
now the "It" couple of the moment. The two married in
1964, their every move a headline. Burton bought Taylor jewels,
furs, baubles. The two caused near-riots when they appeared in
public.
Burton's tour of "Hamlet" sold out and their movies together -- "The V.I.P.s," "The Sandpiper," even the grim, groundbreaking "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" -- were hits, the latter also nominated foor 10 Oscars. Taylor received a best actress trophy for her performance as the tempestuous Martha; Burton was nominated for his performance as the emasculated George.
Eventually, however, the moviegoing public tired of the double act. Taylor and Burton made four more films together -- "The Taming of the Shrew," "Doctor Faustus," "The Comedians" and the appropriately titled bomb "Boom!" -- but none had the success of their earlier work. At the same time, a new generation was latching on to a younger group of stars; Taylor, though still in her 30s, seemed part of another time.
The actress' career continued to languish as she entered her 40s. Such films as "The Only Game in Town," "X, Y and Zee" and "Ash Wednesday" did nothing for her reputation.
Her marriage to Burton also faltered; the two divorced in 1974, and though they remarried the next year, the second attempt ended nine months later. Indeed, Taylor was starting to become a figure of mockery. During a fund-raising dinner for her sixth husband, U.S. Senator John Warner, R-Virginia, Taylor choked on a chicken bone. The incident, including a bulked-up Taylor, was viciously parodied on "Saturday Night Live," with John Belushi playing Taylor.
But the glamour of being Elizabeth Taylor never faded. She was a "guest" at the much-watched Luke-Laura "General Hospital" wedding in 1983 and launched several perfume lines, starting with Passion later in the decade. Most notably, however, she devoted herself to charity. In 1985, she organized a benefit dinner to raise money for her friend Rock Hudson, who was dying of AIDS. The project eventually led to the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amFAR); in 1991, she began the Elizabeth Taylor HIV/AIDS Foundation.
Taylor did a handful of parts in the '90s and '00s -- most notably a 1992 spot on "The Simpsons" in which her voice spoke Maggie Simpson's first word -- but generally devoted herself to social and charitable causes. She married one more time in 1991, to a construction worker named Larry Fortensky, and defended her friend, pop king Michael Jackson. She had more health woes: a trip to the Betty Ford Clinic in the late '80s -- where she met Fortensky -- as well as a brain tumor and severe back problems. The latter put her in a wheelchair.
But through all of it -- the gossip, the ailments, the loves and losses -- she remained indomitable. She even joined Twitter to send regular updates on her life. Why not? She was born to the spotlight, and no amount of tittle-tattle was going to take it away. "Some audience out there, and don't ask me who they are, but there are millions, like scandal. They like filth," she told CNN's Larry King in 2006. "And if they want to hear that I'm dead, sorry, folks, I'm not. And I don't plan on it."

She was reportedly airlifted to Loyola Medical Centre in Maywood, Illinois, after an object struck a car she was driving for a stunt, went through the windshield and hit her. The car then hit a barrier wall and travelled about a mile before coming to a stop, according to Illinois police. A witness to the accident told Fox: From the way it looked, I dont know if she was knocked out immediately or not but the ... vehicle just went, it just kept going. The third Transformers film, directed by Michael Bay, stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whitely. LaBeouf was recently crowned the best value actor in Hollywood. The 24-year-old actress made a profit of £81 for every £1 he was paid. Young Womans Skull Sliced Open During Accident On Transformers 3 Set Mediaite, LLC 1:30 pm, September 3rd, 2010 Truly sad news from Indiana as Gabriela Cedillo, a 24-year old woman who was acting as an extra on the set of Transformers 3 was seriously injured during an accident. The woman was being paid $25 to be one of many people driving their own cars down the highway as the crew filmed an elaborate stunt on the other side of the road. Something went wrong and a cable shot across the street and sliced through her car. This took place on Wednesday night. Thursday was supposed to be the last day of filming. From
Chicagos ABC 7: ABC 7 is also reporting that extras only signed waivers about not talking to the media so this may end up being a large financial problem for the filmmakers. However, those will all be questions for the future, right now all thats important is the health of Cedillo who was rushed to the Loyola hospital. The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that she had surgery and is now in stable condition. Freak Accident on the Set of 'Transformers 3' Associated Content September 05, 2010 Gabriela Cedillo, an extra on the movie set of Transformers 3, was seriously injured while filming a scene on Wednesday evening in Indiana. She was sitting in her car, when debris from a nearby stunt crashed through her windshield and severely injured her head. The 24-year-old bank teller was paid an additional $25 to use her own car during the film shoot. "The vehicle was being towed by another vehicle," fellow extra Blaine Baker told a local ABC station. "The cable between the two vehicles broke. It whipped around and sliced through the woman's car and sliced through her skull, apparently." In May, during the filming of The Big Year in Tolfino, British Columbia, extras were thrown from a boat after it hit a sandbar during low tide. All of the extras involved in the boating incident were transported to a local hospital; their injuries were considered minor. The producers talked to the extras thrown from the boat and they each wanted to continue working in the film. The Big Year stars Jack Black, Owen Wilson and Steve Martin. In 1982, a deadly helicopter accident on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie, took the lives of one adult and two children. The adult was actor, Vic Morrow, and the two children, Myca Dinh Le and Renee Shin-Yi Chen, were extras in the movie. Pyrotechnic explosions caused the helicopter pilot to lose control and crash into the three victims, killing them instantly. While no one affiliated with the production of the film were criminally charged, legal battles against the film-makers ensued over a decade. As a result of the Twilight Zone tragedy, regulations were changed in regards to children working in films. Transformers 3" Extra in Coma After Accident On Set Indyposted September 7, 2010 A Chicago bank teller working as a minimum-wage extra on the Indiana set of Transformers 3 is in a medically induced coma after brain surgery, according to the Chicago Fox affiliate. AP adds that the woman, 24, is able to move her hands and legs but remains unconscious. Her family and treating physicians say that her condition seems to be improving. There seems to be conflicting accounts of what actually happened but apparently the woman was in her own personal car during last Wednesdays filming when a broken cable or some other object went through her windshield and smashed into her head. According to news reports quoting local police, the movie was filming a stunt involving multiple vehicles and drivers and flying cars when a metal object struck Gabriella Cedillos personal 2006 Toyota. It went through the windshield and hit the 24-year-old driver who was not a stunt professional or member of the stunt personnel. The Toyota hit the inner median concrete barrier wall and had extensive damage to the drivers side. Shooting for the second Transformers sequel was supposed to wrap the next day in Chicago but apparently the final day of filming may have been canceled altogether. Indiana authorities and the studio are both conducting an investigation into the accident. Regardless of the outcome of the inquiry, however, there is a strong likelihood that Michael Bay and others will be on the receiving end of a huge personal injury lawsuit in the very near future. |
COMMENTS (11/19/10): Never heard of Gabriella Cedillo, but her name sounds are plastered all over this page. This was the "danger of a fatal accident on the set of a movie" that I predicted would occur in July 2010 (it happened two months later in September). This prediction appears on the 2010 (Part Four) page. What a sense of de ja vu. Even the writer of the report from Associated Content could not resist seeing the parallel between this film set accident and the one that occurred on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie which decapitated actor Vic Morrow and two Vietnamese child extras in July 1982 (28, 4 x 7, years ago). No major actor was involved in this case, but eerily enough the extra Gabriela Cedillo was scalped when the cable shot out and sliced through her car, sheering off the top of her skull. Very close to a decapitation, which would have been fatal obviously. It is still a miracle she survived, although she remains in a coma at this writing. PREDICTION FULFILLED ... without a fatality.

Singer-songwriter Teena Marie dies at 54
December 27, 2010 -- Updated 0354 GMT (1154 HKT)
(CNN) -- Teena Marie, a celebrated R&B
singer-songwriter, was found dead Sunday at her California home,
her manager said. Born Mary Christine Brockert in Santa Monica,
California, the 54-year-old artist famously paired with late funk
legend Rick James and was nominated four times for a Grammy
Award, according to her official website. Marie was found dead by
her daughter after apparently dying in her sleep, manager Mike
Gardner said.
"Teena was a black voice trapped in a white body," said Cathy Hughes, founder of Radio One,a broadcasting company that targets African-American and urban listeners. "I would always tell her that she was one of the greatest vocalists of our time."
Among her songs were "Lovergirl," "Portuguese Love," "Ooo La La La," and "I'm a Sucker for Your Love."
While no cause of death has been released, the singer's publicist Lynn Jeter said that Marie suffered a grand mal seizure -- a neurological event, marked by loss of consciousness and violent muscle contractions, according to the Mayo Clinic -- a month ago. "Luckily, someone was there," Jeter said of that seizure. "The ambulance took her to the hospital, and on the way she had another seizure."
The publicist said that she had a "great" conversation on Saturday with Marie, who told her that she was excited about heading to Atlanta to perform this week -- in what would have been her first performance since the seizure.
Marie sang under various record labels, including Motown, Epic, Stax Records and Cash Money Classics, since bursting on the scene as a 19-year-old, according to her website. Her last studio album, Congo Square, featured several collaborations.
Eddie Levert, founder of the vocal group The O'Jays, praised Marie as both a singer and mother. "There are a lot of black people who swore by her and believed in her, as far as her music was concerned," he said. "She was a good mom, and to me, that is saying a lot.'"
COMMENTS (12/27/10): Singer-songwriter Teena Marie has all the name sounds in her name. Even her real name, Mary Christine Brockert, has all the name sounds but for the letter "B." Time really flies; doesn't seem all that long ago she looked like the photo above. The music doesn't seem that old yet either. A warning to the viewer to look closely at the playful bones in the background: that will be us sooner than we may think, because time begins to fly by faster than you can imagine after age 25. You're 25 and one day you will blink your eyes and you will be 45 and wondering where the last 20 years went ... and if it is your lot in life not to reach your life expectancy ... you may well blink your eyes and find yourself dead. And you are dead a very, very long time ...

Charlie Sheen On Violent Coke Binge, Strangled Escort Capri Anderson, & Made Racial Slurs
Dirty Laundry
November 22, 2010
Capri Anderson has told
ABC News the truth about lowlife druggie Charlie Sheen. After
hiring the prostitute/escort for a dinner date that wound up back
in his hotel room no doubt for some extra dollar
considerations on the part of whoremaster Sheen, he started
getting coked up and crazy! He started yelling racial slurs
worse ones than Mel Gibson is known for apparently, and
then started to strangle his date!
Boy, that Charlie sure is a fun guy eventually Capri got away from the lunatic and locked herself in the bathroom. When the cops arrived Sheen was naked and yelling the N-word repeatedly.
Towards the latter half of the night, it got really bad, Anderson said. He started yelling racial slurs. But it wasnt until he put his hands around my neck that I really thought to myself, you have gotten yourself in a bad, bad situation. He was going crazy and shouting n**ger, n**ger, n**ger for no reason at all.
The racist stoner was released within hours of course another example of celebrity justice and tossed the whole incident off to one bad night. Capri says it isnt right to hurt people. It is a sad comment on Hollywood Icon Sheen when his prostitute is a better person with higher standards than is he.
COMMENTS (12/28/10): Charlie Sheen was actually rehearsing a scene deleted from the opening portion of his brother Martin's big 1979 film "Apocalypse Now" where Martin has a wild weekend before his new mission tracking down too-fat Marlon Brando. We only get to see him drinking afterward and having a bad hangover. It would have been a much better film perhaps with the scene left in. Guess old Charlie thought it was time for a sequel ... as for Capri, as the saying goes: 'it's an ill whore that blows nobody any good' .. . or something like that ...

LPGA Tour player Erica Blasberg found dead
Los Angeles Times
May 10, 2010 | 5:59 pm
LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg has
died of unknown causes, according to the Tour and her agent Chase
Callahan. Blasberg, 25, was in her sixth season on the LPGA Tour.
She turned professional in June 2004 and qualified to join the
Tour a year later. The Southern California native, who went to
high school in Corona, was a two-time All-American at the
University of Arizona, where she was named NCAA Freshman of the
Year and Pac-10 Player of the Year in 2003.
"We are devastated to learn of the passing of Erica Blasberg," Callahan wrote in a statement. "To most of the world, Erica was known as a professional golfer, but she was more than that. She was a loving daughter to her parents and a compassionate and loyal friend. Erica had a good heart, was extremely kind and very thankful for what she had in her life. She lived out her dream of playing professional golf on the highest level on the LPGA Tour, allowing her to help inspire others. We are proud of Erica for everything she accomplished. This is a painful loss, we feel it in our hearts and we will miss her. Erica would want those close to her to celebrate the life she lived. We ask that you keep Erica and her family in your prayers."
Blasberg had her best year on tour in 2008, when she earned a career-best tie for eighth at the SBS Open in Hawaii and had more than $113,000 in winnings. She had played in only one event this season, the Tres Marias Championship, where she tied for 44th.
Golfer Erica Blasberg's Death Ruled a Suicide
Coroner: Pro Golfer Died from Asphyxia, Coupled with Toxic Levels of Rx Medication in Her System; Doctor Surrenders to Police
LAS VEGAS, Aug. 24, 2010
(CBS/ AP) The Clark County coroner's
office ruled Tuesday that 25-year-old professional golfer Erica
Blasberg's death was a suicide. Blasberg died May 9 at her home
in Henderson, about 15 miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip. She
was found with a plastic bag secured over her head.
Henderson police said that while no foul play is suspected they have issued a misdemeanor arrest warrant for Dr. Thomas Hess on obstruction charges. Police said Hess, who discovered Blasberg's body, removed items from the scene, including a suicide note. The contents of the note haven't been disclosed.
Hess turned himself into authorities, was booked into jail and released about 35 minutes after posting $637 in bail Tuesday afternoon, Henderson police spokesman Keith Paul said. David Mincavage, an assistant city attorney in Henderson, said the nonviolent misdemeanor charges against Hess carry a maximum penalty of a $1,000 fine and six months in jail. Mincavage said he could not comment further on the case, and Paul declined to say whether additional charges were possible.
The coroner's office said Blasberg died of suicide due to asphyxia, coupled with the presence of toxic levels of prescription medication in her system, including prescription headache, cough, pain and anti-anxiety medications. The drugs in Blasberg's system included butalbital, temazepam, alprazolam, codeine, hydrocodone, and tramadol, according to the coroner, but Nevada law doesn't permit the release of details on the amounts of medication.
"While
asphyxia was the primary cause of death, the
presence of prescription drugs in Ms. Blasberg's system was a
significant factor," Coroner Michael Murphy said.
A 911 call from Hess that summoned police came from the house, and Blasberg was alone when officers arrived, police have said. Blasberg's agent said her bags were packed for a tournament in Mobile, Ala., when she was found. The death investigation was complicated, police said, because Hess admitted altering the scene - including the removal of the note indicating Blasberg took her own life - and he stopped cooperating with detectives. Hess hid the note and prescription medications in his vehicle.
In a 911 call obtained from police by The Associated Press, Hess says he came to the house to check on her after she didn't leave for the tournament. "I called her yesterday, she was supposed to be leaving for a golf tournament but she didn't," an agitated Hess said on the call. "She picked up the phone and she sounded intoxicated at that time."
Hess said Blasberg had consumed a "couple drinks" and was sad the night before her death, but didn't indicate she wanted to kill herself. When asked by the female operator whether Blasberg was beyond resuscitation, Hess replied: "I'm a doctor." But Hess didn't say he was Blasberg's doctor, instead saying he "knew her from the golf club."
When the operator told Hess she was
sending police, she asked him to wait outside the house.
"Try not to touch anything," she said. "Yes
ma'am," he replied. Calls from The Associated Press to
Blasberg's father, Mel Blasberg, her agent Chase Callahan and
Hess' lawyer Charles Kelly were not immediately returned. The
Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners in Reno said Hess'
medical license is active and he has had no disciplinary action
or pending complaints. He got his license to practice in Nevada
in July 2003.
Blasberg grew up in Southern California, and was in her sixth season on the LPGA Tour. She was a former junior golf standout, an All-American in 2003 and 2004. She was the 2003 NCAA Freshman of the Year and 2003 Pac-10 Player of the Year while at the University of Arizona. She turned professional in June 2004, and won once on the Duramed FUTURES Tour before qualifying for the LPGA Tour in 2005. Her best year on Tour was 2008, when she earned a career-best tie for eighth at the SBS Open in Hawaii and more than $113,000 in winnings, the LPGA said. Blasberg played in one event this season, tying for 44th in the April 29-May 2 Tres Marias Championship in Morelia, Mexico.
Mel Blasberg told CBS' "The Early Show" last month that if his daughter had personal demons she was dealing with, he was partly responsible for not seeing the signs of possible trouble. With the pressures of being a professional athlete, and the personal pressure do her best, Erica had mentioned to her father that she wasn't completely happy, he said. "There were times that I'm sure she didn't want to be a professional golfer," said Blasberg. "She was disappointed. She said things to me, you know, from time-to-time, that raised little flags. She had mentioned on occasion that she didn't think she had any friends, which is not the case at all. And things like that." Blasberg said his daughter's death left him feeling unsettled. "What didnt I see?" he asked. "I never took her for granted."
COMMENTS (12/28/10): Do not follow golf, so never heard of Erica Blasberg. Pretty girl.
Burberry model Tom Nicon commits suicide at start of Milan Fashion Week
Telegraph
8:30AM BST 21 Jun 2010
The Burberry model Tom Nicon has committed suicide
after he fell 40ft to his death from his apartment in Italy.
Nicon, 22, is thought to have been depressed after breaking up
with his girlfriend. The model, who was the male "face"
of the British fashion label Burberry, died at the start of the
Milan Men's fashion week.
He had also worked for Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss and Versace, for whom he had attended a show rehearsal the day he died. It is thought that Fashion Week will go ahead with a tribute to the Frenchman. Donatella Versace said: "Tom was with us on Friday morning for a final show fitting. He seemed fine and calm. He had already done three or four shows with us and he was a sweet boy. I just can't understand why he did what he did. We would never have thought he would do something like this. When we heard the news we were all so upset and we still are all so very sad."
The model's death follows Alexander McQueen who committed suicide in February this year following the death of his mother. Three months ago Noemie Lenoir, the face of Marks and Spencer's underwear, was found unconscious in woodland near her Paris home after attempting to commit suicide. Lenoir - the girlfriend of former Chelsea football star Claude Makelele - is believed to have taken a cocktail of drugs and alcohol. She was rushed to hospital and has now made a full recovery. Last year, South Korean supermodel Daul Kim hanged herself at her luxury Paris apartment after writing on her internet blog that she was 'mad depressed and overworked'.
French Model Tom Nicon Dies After Falling From Apartment Block Before Milan Men's Fashion Week
Sky News
10:02am UK, Monday June 21, 2010
Top male model Tom Nicon
has died after falling four floors from an apartment block just
hours before the start of Milan Men's Fashion Week. The French
catwalk star, who was the face of British label Burberry, had
just returned from a Versace rehearsal before he was found dead.
The 22-year-old is thought to have been depressed after breaking up with his girlfriend and was staying with friends in the Italian fashion capital. He died instantly after falling 40ft from the window.
Police in Milan said they were treating the death as suicide and investigating suggestions he had suffered from a ''complicated affair of love''.
Organisers said Fashion Week would go ahead as planned and designers paid tribute to Tom, with Donatella Versace saying: "He was with us on Friday morning for a final fitting. "He seemed fine and calm. He had already done three or four shows with us and he was a sweet boy. When we heard the news we were all so upset and we still are all so very sad."
The modelling industry has been hit by a series of shocks in recent months. Marks and Spencer model Noemie Lenoir took a cocktail of alcohol and drugs to try kill herself in Paris in May - she has now made a full recovery.
In April US model Ambrose Olsen, 24, was found dead in his New York home. In November South Korean model Daul Kim, 20, hanged herself in her Paris apartment.
Following the news of Nicon's death, an anonymous posting by a fellow model on the fashion website Issac Likes said: "People think we are young and beautiful and rich and happy. But we're not. "We go to castings and the directors take one look at us and then we're dismissed. You spend your whole life wondering what's wrong with you. Why didn't I get that job? You're competing with your friends, you're away from your family. The pressure is huge. It's not the fairytale life people would expect."
Meanwhile, Milan Men's Fashion Week has hosted the Alexander McQueen fashion house's first collection since the designer's suicide in London in February. The 40-year-old is believed to have become depressed following the death of his mother Joyce, who died on February 2.
COMMENTS
(7/3/10): All the name sounds are there, save for the
"T," in the name Tom Nicon. It was only a matter of
time before the suicide epidemic afflicting male and female
actors and singers, and female models would begin striking male
models. The hanging suicide of model Daul Kim,
the jumping suicide of model Lina Marulanda,
and drugs overdose suicide attempt by model Noemie Lenoir
have been noted on the the 2010 (Part Four) page, as well as that of
country singer Mindy McCready, who I named in
advance as being in danger of suicide and also predicted that she
would use drugs to try to kill herself, even including a collage
image of her and spilled bottle of pills illustrating this
attempted suicide well beforehand. Also on the 2010 (Part Four) page, the predicted
hanging suicide of British actress Lucy
Gordon.
However, I did not specificially predict any male model suicides, although I anticipated a male porn star would commit suicide (which apparently has not happened). I did not know about the suicide of male model Ambrose Olsen until reading about it on the above report.
This phenomenon I expect will get worse, much worse, as we close in on the mid 2010s. Hanging will remain the growing majority means of suicide, although drugs overdose and jumping cases will continue as well. Only a week ago supermodel Viveka Babajee hanged herself, as have supermodels Yulia Pavlunko and Daul Kim, and actors Lucy Gordon, David Carradine, Stephanie Parker, Woo Seung-yeon, and Jang Ja-yeon during the last 12 months or so.

Opposing Views December 01, 2010 Dr. Drew Pinsky might consider another line of work Supermodel Janice Dickinson says that she felt like killing herself while in his rehab filming for the show Celebrity Rehab 4. She wanted to go to the bathroom to hang herself because she felt so poorly while detoxing from alcohol and prescription meds. I dont know what Dr. Drew and his therapists actually do to help the patients but to us it seems like what he cares about most is making good television to help his ratings. Via Daily Mail: Im having thoughts of suicide, she says while gasping for breath. I wanted to go to the bathroom and try to hang myself. I want it to end. Its really painful, she continues. Its very painful. Her counsellor tells her: Youre going through the toughest part of your life right now, the fight for your life. Rehab is a time for self-renewal and making people feel better not being so negative that they want to die. Last season we watched former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr fight so much with one of the dumb therapists that he was ready to quit rehab and this was after he was well over his addiction and withdrawal from heroin! Celebrity Rehab 4: Janice Dickinson admits to 'sucidal thoughts'
'I want to drink and I want to party Mail Online 1st December 2010 Supermodel Janice Dickinson admitted she was contemplating suicide while fighting an addiction to alcohol and prescription medication. The 55-year-old is seen breaking down in tears as she reveals she 'wants it to end' in a preview for the upcoming American series, Celebrity Rehab 4. She is among a host of fallen stars who checked into the Pasadena Recovery Centre for the show earlier this year, including singer Leif Garrett, Tiger Woods' mistress Rachel Uchitel and Party of Five's Jeremy London. During her time in the treatment facility, an inconsolable Dickinson is seen confiding in her counsellor. 'I'm having thoughts of suicide,' she says while gasping for breathe. 'I wanted to go to the bathroom and try to hang myself. I want it to... end.' She says that she 'slipped' after years of sobriety, adding that 'the shame is overbearing. ''It's really painful,' she continues. 'It's very painful.' Her counsellor tells her: 'You're going through the toughest part of your life right now, the fight for your life.' 'I am an alcoholic and a chemically dependent woman. I want to drink and I want to party and that's not good.' Dickinson, who took prescription pills for anxiety and insomnia, told Dr Drew Pinsky that she suffered abuse at the hands of her father as a child. 'I was damaged beauty from the start,' she says. 'My dad had rage issues.' Confrontation: Janice and Rachel Uchitel came to blows during their time in the facility. 'I don't feel good inside,' she continues. 'I don't sleep. You have no idea about the abuse. You have no idea how bad I feel.' The mother of two, who also came to blows with Uchitel during her rehab stint, appeared on four cycles of America's Next Top Model. She went on to opened her own modeling agency in 2005, which was documented on the reality TV show, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. |
COMMENTS (12/27/10): Nearly all of the name sounds are to be found in the name of Janice Dickinson, save for a good "dick" where there is only an "ick." Dickinson came close to being the second well-known Western actress/model since May 2009 to hang herself (British and Hollywood actress and model Lucy Gordon being the most recent), but instead it was a threat she made to do it on live television. Two lesser known Western female celebs have also opted for the noose during that time: British actress Stephanie Parker (April 2009) and British model Diane Tweedle (October 2010).

Legendary singer, actress Lena Horne dead at 92
May 11, 2010 -- Updated 1409 GMT (2209 HKT)
(CNN) -- Legendary singer, dancer, actress and
civil rights activist Lena Horne, 92, died at New
York-Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday night, a hospital
spokeswoman said. No other details of her death were made public.
Horne was the first African-Americans to sign a long-term movie contract with a major Hollywood studio when she joined MGM in 1942. Horne's expressive and silky voice made her a singing star, known best for her hit "Stormy Weather," after Hollywood failed to give her roles that might have made her a big screen starlet.
Horne complained she was used as "window dressing" in white films, mostly limited to singing performances that could be easily edited out for play in southern theaters. The light-complexioned Horne refused to go along with studio plans to promote her as a Latin American. She later said she did not want to be "an imitation of a white woman."
Horne, whose parents divorced when she was 3, lived a nomadic childhood traveling with her actress mother. She spent much of her time growing up in Brooklyn, New York, where she was born in 1917.
Horne was 16 when she began her show business career as a dancer at Harlem's Cotton Club. She later became a singer there, playing to packed houses of white patrons, with band leaders Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington. She began taking singing lessons in 1935, and eventually landed a part in the all-black Broadway production "Dance With Your Gods."
Her work as a feature singer with touring bands and in nightclubs increased. She became the first African-American singer to tour with a white group in 1940, according to her official biography. Her first film role came in 1938 in "The Duke is Tops," but her next movie didn't come along for another four years.
She was given a screen test by MGM and signed to a seven-year movie contract after a studio scout saw her performing in a New York club. Her stepfather, Miguel Rodriguez, negotiated with MGM head Louis B. Mayer for her to never be cast as a maid or "Tarzan extra." "I think the black boy that cleaned the shoes and me were the only two black people except the maids who were there working for the stars," Horne said in a CNN interview. "And it was very lonely and I wasn't very happy." Still, Horne said she was grateful that her World War II era films -- including black musicals "Cabin in the Sky" and "Stormy Weather" -- were seen by black and white soldiers. " But after I realized I would only go so far, I went on the stage," Horne said.
With only subservient roles available for a black actress in Hollywood in the 1940s, Horne turned to recording top-selling songs. Horne said performing for live audiences was what she loved most. "I'm always happy when I'm surrounded by people to react and feel and touch," she said.
While traveling with a USO tour during the World War II, she walked out on a show because German war prisoners were seated in front seats, ahead of African-American troops. After the USO withdrew her from the tour, she used her own money to travel to sing for the troops.
She has a son and daughter from a first marriage that ended in 1944. Horne married again in 1947 to Lennie Hayton, who was then MGM's music director. She kept the marriage secret for several years, since Hayton was white. When it was made public, the couple received hate mail and threats of violence, according to her biography.
Radio, television, film and nightclub jobs were harder for Horne to find in the McCarthy era of the 1950s when she was blacklisted. That ended in 1956 when RCA gave Horne a new recording contract and she earned a guest spot in the movie "Meet Me in Las Vegas." Horne returned to Broadway in 1957 for her first starring role there. "Jamaica" ran for 555 shows.
She became active in the civil rights movement after she was involved in a public altercation following a racial slur in a Beverly Hills, California, restaurant in 1960. She was an active supporter of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s civil rights movement. Horne was there when King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech on the Lincoln Memorial steps in 1963.
Variety television shows welcomed Horne as a musical performer, especially in the 1960s. She appeared on numerous episodes with Perry Como, Dean Martin and Flip Wilson. She returned to film for a final role in 1978 as Glinda the Good Witch, opposite Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, in "The Wiz," an adaptation of "The Wizard of Oz." She got a special Tony Award for her 1981 one-woman Broadway hit "Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music." She also won two Grammys for the recording of the show. Horne was honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1989, and she also won a Grammy in 1995 for best jazz vocal performance for her album "An Evening With Lena Horne."
In her later years, Horne said she found peace. "The best time in my life I guess is now because I'm quiet and I'm logical and I accept without flying off the handle -- sometimes I do," Horne said with a laugh.

Juliette
Lewis Injured In Late Night Car Crash
The Indie Rock Daily
07 Oct 2010
Actress and rock singer Juliette Lewis has been injured in a hit-and-run incident in California while promoting her new film Conviction. The star had been returning from a promotional event in Burbank last night (October 6th), when the crash occurred, which was severe enough for Lewis to require treatment at a nearby hospital.
A representative told gossip website TMZ that Lewis car had been written off, and that she is now resting at home following the crash. The sedan Juliette was travelling in was completely totaled, the Rep said. Ms Lewis went to the hospital to be checked out and is a bit banged up and sore, but otherwise thankfully OK. She is now resting at home.
According to reports, the Honda car which hit Lewis was found by police not far from the scene, and the driver is apparently still being hunted by the authorities after fleeing from the road.
Juliette Lewis release her debut album with The Licks in 2004, and after issuing their third record Four On The Floor in 2006, she announced the band had reached the end of its run. Lewis went on to form a new group, The New Romantiques, who released the LP Terra Incognita in 2009.
COMMENTS (11/19/10): Juliette Lewis is indicated by several key name sounds. This could have been a lot worse ... and would have likely been fatal if it had happened last year in 2009, especially if her hair had been blonde as in the accompanying photo above. Indeed, it might have been a "Jayne Mansfield" moment.
Leslie Nielsen, star of 'Airplane!' and 'Naked Gun,' dead at 84
November 29, 2010
(CNN) -- Leslie Nielsen, whose longtime career
as a square-jawed dramatic actor took a sudden turn into comedy
with gut-busting spoofs like "Airplane!" and "The
Naked Gun," has died at age 84, his family said Sunday. The
Canadian-born Nielsen's career reached back into the early days
of television, when he made frequent appearances on live drama
series like "Goodyear Playhouse."
He played the earnest starship captain in the 1956 science-fiction classic "Forbidden Planet" and made regular appearances on a wide range of TV dramas into the 1970s, including "Hawaii Five-O." He also played the captain of an overturned ocean liner in the 1972 disaster movie, "The Poseidon Adventure." Much of that changed in 1980, when he was cast as a doctor aboard an endangered jetliner in the gag-a-minute disaster-movie parody "Airplane!"
Remembering Leslie Nielsen Nielsen's deadpan response to the question "Surely, you can't be serious?" with "I am serious -- and don't call me Shirley" helped launch a second career.
The film's producers went on to cast him in their short-lived television series "Police Squad!" He reprised that show's bumbling lead character, Lt. Frank Drebin, a decade later in three "Naked Gun" movies, in which he shared the screen with O.J. Simpson and Priscilla Presley.Nielsen appeared in several similar but less-acclaimed spoofs following those films.
Nielsen was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2003. The medal is awarded to "Canadian citizens for outstanding achievement and service to the country or to humanity at large."
Nielsen died of complications of pneumonia in a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, surrounded by family and friends, a family statement said. Doug Nielsen called his uncle's death a "great loss." "He was extremely funny," the younger Nielsen said in an interview with CNN affiliate Global Network News in Vancouver. "At all of our family get-togethers, he was always the life of the party and a great-natured guy," Nielsen said. "He was a very good friend to me."
COMMENTS (12/17/10): Leslie Nielsen is named in the prediction list above.

Attempting to Flee Paparazzi, Tori Spelling Crashes Car Into School Wall
AceShowbiz.com
June 14, 2011 02:58:01 GMT
Tori Spelling has got involved in a
car accident on Monday, June 13. The former "Beverly Hills,
90210" actress, who is pregnant with her third child,
claimed to have crashed into the wall at her kids' preschool and
angrily blamed a paparazzo for the fender bender in a long tweet
she posted on the same day.
"Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school," shared the 38-year-old. "He thn STILL got out to try to get pics. 10 school moms chased him away. Wht will it take? Someone dying for paparazzi to stop? Going to dr now to check on baby. I think its just shock."
Tori's friend told PEOPLE that the photog followed the actress into the driveway of the school. The so-called pal further described what happened afterward as saying, "She pulled into the driveway and tried to get away from him. She reversed to leave and then hit the wall." Accordingly, both of Tori's car and the school wall suffered "minor" damage.
Representative for the "Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings" actress assured that neither the wife of actor Dean McDermott nor her two young children, Liam and Stella, was hurt in the accident. "Tori is really shaken up but she and the kids are doing fine," her rep said before adding that the reality star is "going to the doctor for a checkup."
The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that the accident did occur on Monday, but stated that there was no complaint of injuries and no citations. Officer Rosario Herrera, however, clarified that Tori did not hit the school wall. The LAPD spokeswoman told E! News, "She hit a curb near the school and no one was hurt. There will be no further investigation."
COMMENTS (6/19/11): Tori Spelling is named in the prediction list above. This bodes ill for 2011 as 1997 is an influence this year ... and Ms. Spelling's crash due to a paparazzi chase brings back memories of what happened to Princess Diana. Are people so stupid that they are really going to make the same mistakes again??? This is a minor news story that will probably be forgotten because nothing happened to Tori. But what if she has been killed? It shows us how wide the gulf is between reports of close calls and fatal events. Turned around, the question is how many people would remember the accident in the Paris tunnel in August 1997 had Princess Diana not been hurt at all?

Metal rocker Ronnie James Dio has died, wife says
CNN.com
May 16th, 2010
Heavy metal rocker Ronnie James Dio died Sunday morning
after a battle with stomach cancer, his wife announced.
"Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45 a.m.
16th May," Wendy Dio said in a message posted on his
official website. Dio, 67, followed Ozzy Osbourne as Black
Sabbath's lead vocalist in 1979. "Many, many friends and
family were able to say their private good-byes before he
peacefully passed away," she wrote. "Ronnie knew how
much he was loved by all."
Born Ronald James Padavona in 1942, Dio's professional music career began as a high school student in the late 1950s. His 1960s rock group The Electric Elves evolved into Elf by the early 1970s, when the group played heavy blues rock. Dio's rock became darker with his band Rainbow, which he left in 1979 to join Black Sabbath.
Black Sabbath released three albums with Dio, including "Heaven and Hell" in 1980, "Mob Rules" in 1981 and "Live Evil" in 1982. Dio left that band in 1982, but he had a brief reunion with the group a decade later. He formed the group Dio in 1982. The group continued to perform until his illness.
His last public appearance was in April at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards when he accepted a vocalist of the year award his work on last year's Heaven and Hell album. Dio appeared frail, but he was able to speak when accepting his award.

COMMENTS (11/20/10): Enough of the name sounds for Ronnie James Dio apply here along with the last name "Dio." "Die Young" was an excellent song as well as a video. The album "Heaven and Hell" did rather well seeing it was post-Ozzie and came out in the midst of a building surge of interest in new wave music and a temporary adieu to 70's style rock bands (which would return again with a vengeance in the mid and late 1980s).

Singer
Mindy McCready hospitalized May 25, 2010 -- Updated 2147 GMT (0547 HKT) (CNN) -- Country singer Mindy McCready was rushed to a Fort Myers, Florida, hospital Tuesday morning according to a hospital spokeswoman. "My daughter has just taken an overdose," said the caller in the 911 recording released by the Lee County sheriff on Tuesday afternoon. "You've taken too many pills for me to handle this," she said, apparently to someone in the room with her. McCready, 34, has waged a public battle with drug addiction over the past several years and was a participant in the last season of the reality TV show "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." "I don't know how many pills my daughter's taken," the caller said. "I thought that I could handle it and I'd get her to the hospital but she's evidently taken a whole bottle. There was a lot of Darvocet in the bottle and I don't know how many she took, but she's claiming she took a lot." "And it was intentional?" the emergency operator asked. "Yes," the caller said. Cape Coral Hospital spokeswoman Karen Krieger confirmed that McCready was being treated in the emergency department. Mindy McCready's Overdose A Failed Suicide Attempt RadarOnline.com May 25, 2010 @ 08:48PM Country singer Mindy McCready took a near lethal dose of prescription pills in what was a failed suicide attempt, her mother tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. A devastated Gayle McCready Inge even admitted covering up for her troubled 34-year-old daughter earlier on Tuesday, but spoke out to RadarOnline.com, to set the record straight. Inge said McCready, who remains in a Florida hospital, has admitted she attempted to take her own life with an amphetamine drug, used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder. Inge also admitted to taking Darvocet and another muscle relaxer. I asked Mindy how many pills did you take, Inge told RadarOnline.com. She said maybe 25. I said thats it, and thats when I called 911. Mindy told the 911 people that she absolutely didnt care if she lost her life. My daughter is very, very sick. There are conflicting reports whether or not McCready left a suicide note. Inge has been told her daughter left a confession on her computer, but a search has so far failed to find it. However, Inge admitted she discovered a series of letters McCready wrote to her attorney in which she criticized her mother, who cares for McCready's four-year-old son Zander. I am in shock about what she wrote about me, Inge said. McCready has been staying with her mother Gayle Inge in Ft. Myers for a week, despite being locked in a custody dispute with her daughter. Ive allowed Mindy to come here and stay... this after she has bad mouthed me... so she can see her child, Inge said. Listen To The 911 Recording In the 911 call, released on Tuesday, Inqe told an operator: My daughter has taken an overdose. I dont know how many pills my daughter has taken; I thought I could handle it. And I could get her to a hospital, but shes evidentially taken a whole bunch. At one dramatic point when asked if the overdose was intentional, Inge replied that it was. After the day of intense drama, Inge told RadarOnline.coms reporter Andrea Simpson: You have the truth and youre the only person who has the truth. Im telling you the truth. Mindy McCready's 2nd failed suicide attempt May 25, 10:48 PM The Examiner Country singer Mindy McCready has attempted to take her own life unsuccessfully for the second time since 2008. McCready was reported by Radaronline to have taken a near lethal dose of prescription pills. Gayle McCready Inge who is the mother of the 34 year old singer talked with Radar about her daughter and wanted to make sure she set the record straight. At this moment Mindy is in a Florida hospital and has admitted to attempting to take her own life with an amphetamine drug used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder along with Darvocet and a muscle relaxer. When Inge asked her daughter Mindy how many pills she had taken Mindy groggily answered maybe 25 and that is when her mother rushed to the phone to call for 911 assistance stating "My daughter is very, very sick." Whether or not Mindy McCready left a confession note on her computer has yet to be confirmed. Mindy's mother has neither confirmed nor denied that the suicide note allegations have any ring of truth to them or not. What Gayle McCready Inge has confirmed was that a series of letters were found left to Mindy's attorney criticizing her mother, who has been caring for Mindy's four year old son Zander. Gayle Inge revealed that she has allowed Mindy to stay in her home for over the last week to spend time with her child despite the two being involved in a ugly custody battle at the present time. This is the second report of a suicide attempt by Mindy since 2008 when the singer attempted to end her life with an overdose of pills then also. Mindy's latest condition update has stated that that the singer is resting and is in stable condition at the present time. The one fact that McCready's mother remains adamant about is that the plain fact of the matter is that Mindy did try to kill herself and that is the truth. |

COMMENTS (6/17/10): It is most inauspicious that "Min" from Dominique and "Dee" from Kennedy (twice) appears in that of country singer Mindy McCready. This was an attempted suicide that I predicted would occur by name (Mindy McCReady) and through drug overdose on my prediction concerning a female pop or country singer committing suicide in October 2010. This prediction appears on the 2010 (Part Four) page. With four more months to go, this attempt can be regarded as a RED ALERT ... for McCready, Britney Spears, or someone else.
'Easy Rider' actor Dennis Hopper dies
May 30, 2010 -- Updated 0043 GMT (0843 HKT)
(CNN) -- Dennis Hopper, the one-time Hollywood
enfant terrible who portrayed such indelible characters as
"Easy Rider's" biker Billy and "Blue
Velvet's" and huffing villain Frank Booth, died of prostate
cancer Saturday morning at his home in Venice, California, his
wife said. He was 74.
Hopper, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer last October, was surrounded by his children when he died, his wife, Victoria Hopper. told CNN. Funeral arrangements have not been decided, but Hopper's wish was to be buried in Taos, New Mexico, "his heart home," Victoria Hopper said.
The American film icon made his last public appearance on March 26, 2010, when his star was dedicated on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
Over almost six decades as a performer and director, his career spanned a range of Hollywood trends: TV's live "Golden Age," films about disillusioned teenagers, a variety of Westerns, anti-establishment dramas, offbeat indie films, action blockbusters and edgy cable series. He often played villains, occasionally lost souls, almost all with a force and empathy.
There was Dennis Hopper before "Easy Rider," generally known as a clean-cut, if rebellious, character actor who had built a career of supporting roles in Westerns, youth-oriented films and TV shows. There was Dennis Hopper after "Easy Rider," for years one of Hollywood's wild men, an actor with a penchant for alcohol, drugs and outlandish behavior, and later a go-to performer to play villains and commanding misfits. And then there was "Easy Rider," the 1969 film that he directed and co-wrote, and in which he played a dissolute, countercultural biker named Billy. Thanks to the film, Hopper helped blaze a trail for the young, aggressive filmmakers who would take Hollywood by storm in the 1970s.
Dennis Lee Hopper was born in Dodge City, Kansas, on May 17, 1936. He grew up in San Diego, California, and established an early reputation for stage work. Making his way to Hollywood while still in his teens, he quickly earned roles in several films and TV shows, including "Rebel Without a Cause" (1955), in which he met James Dean, who became a friend and lifelong model, Hopper once said. Dean was "a guerrilla artist who attacked all restrictions on his sensibility ... I imitated his style in art and in life. It got me in a lot of trouble," Hopper recalled.
Hopper also appeared in "Giant" with Dean, who died in a car accident in September 1955. "He's the greatest actor that I ever saw. I never saw anyone that could even touch him," he told CNN's Larry King in 2005. "He moved better than any actor. He's like an expressionist to me. He not only filled himself with emotion, but he, like -- he did things that were so unbelievably physical."
Hopper maintained a somewhat uneven career through the mid-'60s, appearing in such films as the John Wayne vehicle "The Sons of Katie Elder" (1965) and the Paul Newman classic "Cool Hand Luke" (1967) as well as several TV shows -- often Westerns. But it was 1967's psychedelic "The Trip," directed by "King of the B's" Roger Corman, that exposed the actor to an antiestablishment audience and two of his "Easy Rider" colleagues, actor Peter Fonda and "Trip" writer Jack Nicholson.
In early 1968, Hopper led the group through his own low-budget film, a biker road movie about two disenchanted riders who -- thanks to some drug money -- travel from Los Angeles to New Orleans. "A man went looking for America and couldn't find it anywhere," went the words of its famous tagline. "Easy Rider" was finally released in the summer of 1969, and became a sensation -- after 1967's "Bonnie and Clyde" and "The Graduate," the breakthrough that set free the baby boomer generation on Hollywood. (Ironically, another of Hopper's 1969 films was "True Grit," an old-fashioned Western that earned John Wayne an Oscar.)
The film, made on the fly by Hopper and co-star Fonda for less than $500,000, became one of the highest-grossing movies of its time and helped make a star of Nicholson, who played an ill-fated, alcoholic lawyer. "It was just a very special time when the lunatics really got to take over the asylum for a minute," Hopper told Reuters in 2008. "For a brief moment there, there really seemed to be an independent film movement. Then it was over." ...
COMMENTS (7/2/10): Dennis Hopper is named in the prediction list above.

Larry King's Wife Overdosed on Pills
Cleveland Leader
June 9, 2010 - 9:33am
If you thought when Larry King and his wife Shawna Southwick
called off their divorce and reconciled that they'd be out of the
tabloids, you thought wrong. Shawna reportedly overdosed on pills
in her Utah home, prompting her dad to call 911 for help.
Southwick's father, Karl Engemann, told a 911 operator: I cant wake her up. She may have overmedicated. I dont think she did it on purpose. Last night she seemed confused about what she had taken, the last time she had taken it."
Radaronline.com reported that Southwick took too many pills on the evening of May 28.
King, 76, and Southwick, 50, filed for divorce on April 14.They reconciled after some time apart, but things are reportedly far from happy. Nevertheless, her father insisted that it was not a suicide attempt: No, no. No, it wouldnt be suicidal. Shes unconscious. I slap her and ... she opens her eyes half way and puts them back down again.
Engemann said that his daughter was taking medication for depression. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, he remained calm and followed the operator's instructions.
Larry King s wife attempted suicide, reports say
Contra Costa Times
06/10/2010 04:58:53 PM PDT
Shawn King's prescription drug
overdose last month in Provo, Utah, originally reported as an
accident, appears to have been an attempted suicide, reports said
Thursday. The 50-year-old wife of talk-show host Larry King was
discovered by her father, Karl Engemann, in her bed and
unresponsive May 28.
Initial reports said Engemann told police his daughter was taking medication for anxiety and depression and accidentally overdosed after losing track of her dosages. But reports by TMZ and E! Online Thursday said Provo police have ruled the incident an attempted suicide. The reports said Shawn King left a note saying she had taken a large quantity of pills intentionally and specifying where she wanted to be buried.
E! Online said the police report pointed out that multiple empty pill bottles which had contained Compro, Prometrium, Clonaxepam, Ambien, Klonopin, Subutex, Cymbalta and Lyrica were found on King's bed, in her purse and in her bathroom. All the prescriptions had been filled within the past 10 days. TMZ on Thursday quoted sources close to Shawn King as saying she had long been depressed over her husband's alleged affair with her sister Shannon.
The Kings filed for divorce in April, but later said they were working to save their 13-year-marriage, which has produced two sons. Larry King issued a statement Wednesday supporting his wife, but has not commented on the new reports.
COMMENTS (12/28/10): Lotsa names to choose from here, but common name sound is King. There's no "air" anywhere on this year's page, or anything like an "awn" or a yawn, so Larry gets by with a "ree," and it's "shhh" be quiet for Shawn. Southwick is only part there anyway. It's all enough with "King" as the dominant force. Suicide is definitely on the upsweep as favourite sport for a growing number of celebs, especially females (who are also demonstrating amazing adeptness in the "failed suicide" category).
