The Great
Midwest Flood of 2011 Will Have Its Beginnings
in Events That Occur in July 2010

NEW PREDICTION: 12/24/09, PRESENTATION POSTED: 5/5/10 -- This prediction is authenticated as genuine by the fact that it was posted in brief, as in the above title, back on the Second Home page on December 24, 2009, and then listed at the bottom of this page on January 29, 2010, where it has lurked ever since. I post this presentation even as record flooding swamps the state of Tennessee, so I can't afford to wait to post this prediction properly any longer. Despite the record flooding in Tennessee, however, I suspect the real deal will still not begin for another month or two. But we will see.
This prediction shall be posted twice: on this page at this location and on the 2011 Part Two page. The prediction is fairly simple: flooding from various causes will flood the entire Midwest beginning in July 2010, and continue to do so throughout the year and through to the summer of next year. CHRONIC FLOODWATERS will not recede, leading to a great watery divide when the Mississippi, Missouri, and other rivers overflow their banks and water spreads out for hundreds of miles in either direction, effectively splitting the mainland US into two from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico. Large ships and various seafaring and lake-faring vessels will actually be able to navigate the waters of the great Midwest Divide for a number of years.

Flooding on
the Mississippi River in St. Louis blocked the entrance to the
President Casino on
Sunday, forcing it to close. Continual rain over the past week
has caused flooding on several rivers
in Missouri, and flash flooding has killed two people. ¦ LAURIE

NEW PREDICTION: 11/1/08 -- Statistically, hanging has replaced drugs overdose for female suicides and shooting for male suicides worldwide as method of death. The trend began to change in 2005 following the hanging suicide of South Korean actress Lee Eun-ju in February and is unlikely to change again until 2033. Even so, jumping from high hotel balconies, apartment windows, public buildings, cliffs, etc. has enjoyed a resurgence in 2008. If the victim is an actress it is highly likely she will be a faded star who was famous in the 1980s or early 1990s but if she is a singer she will be famous and popular. There is a 1-in-10 chance she will be both a singer and an actress.
There seems to be an alternating trend to this
timeline: every 7 years an actress or female singer commits
suicide, but every so often in between an actress or female
singer attempts suicide and fails. The chain of tragedy is nearly
unbroken as far as I can tell going all the way back to the
heroin overdose death of actress Barbara La Marr in 1926. The
first notable attempted suicide on this timeline was by
singer/actress Jeanette MacDonald in 1940. The only year when a
suicide or attempted suicide did not occur was 1947 ...
and that was the infamous year of the Black Dahlia Murder and
also the year soprano and actress Grace Moore died in a plane
crash.
In 1968 actress Virginia Maskell died of a drugs overdose and singer Tina Turner (not pictured) attempted suicide but failed. A doubling occurred again in 1982 when there were two actress suicides: Brenda Benet and Romy Schneider.
The last occurrences in
2003 was a "confessed" failed suicide attempt by
actress Brooke Shields and the mysterious death of actress Kellie
Waymire.
The cause of her death has remained "hush hush" and there has even been a rumour of a sudden heart attack, but nothing official. Some have speculated this was a suicide that was covered up. No one really knows. Because attempted suicides are always followed by real ones on this line, the odds are a whopping 92% that the next occurrence in 2010 will be a successful suicide by a female celebrity. There is a 70% chance it will be an actress and 30% chance it will be a singer.
If an actress, there is a 10% chance it will be an adolescent actress, a 20% chance it will be a little known actress, and a 70% chance it will be a famous but "faded" actress in her late 30s, 40s, or 50s. If it is an actress, there is also a strong chance she has already attempted suicide and failed in 2007 or 2008 (eg, Heather Locklear, drugs overdose, 2008). If a singer, there is a 100% chance she will be young, famous, and successful (eg, Britney Spears, hanging, March 2007).
Base 7 dating: July 2010.

South Korean Actress Jang Ja-yeon
Found Hanged 09.03.2009 12:06
She was reportedly discovered on Saturday evening (07Feb09) by her sister. The actress was believed to be suffering from depression. Yeon is the latest in a long line of Korean celebrities who have committed suicide in recent years. Actress Choi Jin-shil was found dead in October 2008, a month after Ahn Jae-hwan took his own life. Boys over Flowers' Actress Jang Found Dead in Apparent Suicide Korea Times - Tuesday, March 8, 2009 Rising actress Jang Ja-yeon, who was currently starring in the KBS 2TV hit drama ``Boys over Flowers,'' was found dead in an apparent suicide Saturday at her home in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province. Police said that the 26-year-old actress apparently hanged herself from a stairway railing and was discovered by her sister around 7:30 p.m. Jang was known to have had trouble with her current management agency renewing her contract. The actress had complained about the overwhelming stress to her sister during a phone call at 3:30 p.m. that day, saying she ``wants to die.'' According to police investigations, Jang also suffered from depression and had undergone medical treatment during the past year. About 10 years ago, Jang lost both of her parents in a car accident when she was in high school and had lived with her sister since. A will has yet to be found, but after her family's statements about the actress' ongoing struggle with depression, police are searching for further evidence of suicide and returned Jang's body to the bereaved family without performing an autopsy. Various stars, including the cast of Boys Over Flowers, are visiting the late actress' mortuary at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital to offer their condolences. After her public debut in 2006 in a TV commercial, Jang rose to stardom playing Sunny, one of the three mean girls in Boys over Flowers. She was also awaiting her big screen debut in Penthouse Elephant. Actress Woo Seung-yeon Hangs Herself Korea Times 04-28-2009 18:14
Woo apparently hanged herself in her room and was found dead by her roommate who notified police, according to the Seoul Songpa Police Station. She left a note stating she loved her family and she was sorry to leave them. She also sent a text message stating ``I'm sorry'' to her sister, who tried to reach her by phone, a police officer said. Woo debuted as a model for fashion magazines and appeared in minor roles in the movies ``Herb'' (2007) and ``Private Eye'' (2009). She was taking leave from the Department of French Language and Literature at Chung-Ang University. She was signed by the Oracle Entertainment agency two months ago and expected to broaden her acting career. Her agency said she was undergoing treatment for depression and spoke to her sister and friends about her failures at auditions. Police believe the depression might have driven her to the suicide. Woo's death is the latest in a series of celebrity suicides. Top actress Choi Jin-sil, actor, Ahn Jae-hwan and TV actress Jang Ja-yeon all took their own lives. ItalianCanuck1

Talented young BBC actress found
hanged days after show's finale The Daily Mail 20th April 2009 A young actress has been found hanged after the long-running series in which she starred was cancelled. Stephanie Parker, 22, was discovered dead just two days after the last episode of BBC drama Belonging was broadcast. She had starred in the award-winning Welsh programme since she was 15, and also had roles in Casualty and The Bill. Her body was found by a member of the public on open ground near Pontypridd, South Wales, at 6am on Saturday. She had grown up in the town, and still lived there. Belonging, in which Miss Parker played Stacey Weaver, was axed after nine series to make way for a new BBC Wales flagship drama. A BBC spokesman described Miss Parker, who was single, as an 'immensely talented' young actress. Clare Hudson, BBC Wales' head of English language programmes, said: 'Everyone at BBC Wales - especially all those who worked on Belonging - is extremely saddened at the news of Stephanie's tragic death. "Stephanie's talent played a major part in making Belonging the success it was and I'm sure that the programme's fans will be shocked by this untimely news.' She added: 'Stephanie also worked with BBC Wales radio drama department on productions for Radio 4. 'Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this very difficult time.' Police say there were no suspicious circumstances and are speaking to Miss Parker's family, friends and colleagues about the events leading up to her death. But BBC insiders said the timing of it was no coincidence ... Inquest opened on actress death BBC News
Pontypridd Coroner Peter Maddox adjourned the inquest to allow further inquiries into her death. The hearing at Merthyr Magistrates Court was told Miss Parker was found hanging from a tree about 200 yards from the Taff Trail in a field known as "the tump". Miss Parker's body was formally identified by her stepfather Andrew Parker, whose surname she adopted at an early age. The actress lived with her mother and Mr Parker at their home in Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd. |

COMMENTS (10/5/09): When at first I read about this Stephanie Parker, I could see only the "Bridgend suicides" connexion. Thus, I made note of it in a section dedicated to a prediction concerning mass suicide in an European country occurring in 2008 and 2009 (which has become an ever-growing list of Bridgend and other Welsh towns being linked by a rash of hangings began in late 2007), but balked at placing her obituary on here as well. A warning of things to come, I think, including the hanging suicide of British actress Lucy Gordon (see below) ... but apparently, this young actress was no small fry. Had much fame for a 22-year-old TV performer and very much potential for a great career ahead. But, for reasons only she would know, she snuffed it ...

Spider-Man actress Lucy Gordon
found hanged The Telegraph 7:23AM BST 22 May 2009
Lucy Gordon, 28, who attended Oxford High School, made her screen debut in 2001 and appeared in around a dozen films, including Serendipity, starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. In one of her most recent roles, she played the 60s actress and singer Jane Birkin in a French biopic of singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. Miss Gordon was found hanged from the ceiling of her mansion block apartment near the River Seine on Wednesday, two days before her 29th birthday. Reports in France claimed Miss Gordon had been deeply affected by the recent suicide of a friend in Britain. A local shopkeeper near her flat in Paris' fashionable 10th arrondissement claimed that Miss Gordon's boyfriend had burst into his shop on Wednesday morning calling for help. The pair ran upstairs in la Rue des Petites Ecuries to find that the young actress had hanged herself, while her boyfriend lay sleeping in the flat, he said. One local said: "She was an adorable girl. Two days ago, we were chatting over a drink. You think people are stable and then." Police in the French capital said her death was being treated as a suicide. One officer said: "It was an horrific scene, the young woman had taken her own life in terrible circumstances. We are not seeking anyone else. It was a clear case of suicide." The Oxford-born actress played television reporter Jennifer Dugan in the third installment of Spider-Man and had most recently acted in Brief Interviews With Hideous Men. Miss Gordon also worked as a model. She had been living in Paris for the last few years, having moved to the French capital from New York. Miss Gordon's parents, Richard, 60, and Susan, 58, paid tribute to their "lovely and generous" daughter. Mr Gordon appeared briefly at the front door of his home in Oxford to say: "The whole family is so proud of Lucy and we always have been. We have loved her so much throughout her life. She was the light of mine, her mum Sue's, and her sister Katie's lives. Lucy was a lovely, generous and unselfish person who always gave so much thought to other people and put them before herself. Acting was what she had always wanted to do. She had been acting since the age of two, which was really as soon as she could walk. Her career had been just taking off and it's a tragedy that it has been cut short so soon." Trailers from the French film Gainsbourg (vie héroique), which was due for release early next year, were presented at the Cannes film festival, which ends on Sunday. "(The film) owes a lot to the generosity, gentleness and immense talent of Lucy Gordon," said director Joann Sfar in a statement. A festival organiser said: "We are devastated by this news. All those attending the festival had been hugely impressed by Lucy's work. She was a star in the making." She also had a central role in a new French comedy, Cineman, due out this year, and played alongside Audrey Tautou the star of Amélie in Les Poupées Russes (The Russian Dolls), a romantic comedy. Felicity Lusk, the head of Oxford High School, where Miss Gordon studied for her A levels, said: "I remember Lucy very well because she was an extremely talented actress during all her school years. She came to me asking for time off to go on a modelling assignment in New York, which was astonishing for someone that age to be doing during their studies. After that her success came very quickly, but she remained a modest and unassuming people-person." An autopsy will be carried out on Miss Gordon at Paris Institut médico-légal which is routine procedure. |

COMMENTS (6/9/09): Because I clearly stated and emphasised that the actress in question would actually hang herself, and even have a very large and vivid illustration above the prediction demonstrating an actress carrying out this method (one who looks oddly like Lucy Gordon with her hair tied up off her neck), I must declare this a PREDICTION FULFILLED a year early. I must also include the hangings of South Korean actresses Jang Ja-yeon and Woo Seung-yeon as at least partially contributing to the fulfillment of this prediction as well, especially since they both occurred only a month apart.
This makes a total of six successful South Korean actresses who have hanged themselves since Lee Eun-ju's suicide in February 2005. One would have to conclude that hanging is quickly becoming the dominate method of suicide (or potential "accidental death" due to autoerotic asphyxiation) not only in South Korea, but also in the West with the mysterious hangings of Lucy Gordon and David Carradine (who, at this writing, are both big news items).
Time will tell, but I suspect we may see more and more famous Western celebrities, as well those rising or fading, dangling from the end of a noose between now and July 2010 ... and quite possibly beyond.

Korean model Daul Kim dies of
apparent suicide by hanging The Examiner | November 20, 2009 8:15
Daul, who was an accomplished painter and videographer, recently confessed to feeling exhausted by her hectic work schedule. In an Oct. 30 entry on her blog, Kim wrote she was "mad depressed and overworked," and in another entry said "the more i gain the more lonely it is ... i know i'm like a ghost." Some in the fashion industry speculate that the pressures of the super-competitive modeling world got to Daul. Eating disorders and substance abuse are common in the youth- and perfection-obsessed industry. In June 2008, 20-year-old Russian model Ruslana Korshunova jumped to her death from her Manhattan apartment building on a gorgeous, sunny Saturday afternoon. The stunning 5-foot-8 Ruslana had been featured in ads for DKNY, Vera Wang and Christian Dior and was hailed as "the next big thing" in a profile in Vogue magazine three years earlier. Daul, who was a fixture on the runways of New York, Paris, London and Milan, has modeled for Chanel, Dries van Noten, Peter Pilotto and Christopher Kane. Kim's distraught mom is on her way to Paris to collect her daughter's dead body. Supermodel Daul Kim found hanged after posting web messages The Telegraph | 6:15PM GMT 20 Nov 2009 Daul Kim, a South Korean supermodel who starred in a string of high-profile fashion campaigns, has been found dead at her luxury flat in Paris. Her death was discovered after she left a series of messages on a website saying she was "lonely" and "depressed". Kim, 20, was a regular on catwalks in New York, Milan and Paris was found hanged in her city centre apartment by a friend, according to police. She had modelled for leading designers, including Chanel, Dries van Noten and Alexander McQueen. Despite her professional success, she had hinted at her desire to end her life in her popular internet blog a series of poems, photos and thoughts called "I like to Fork Myself". On October 30, she sounded upbeat: "I left Seoul and I'm in Paris I'm happy!" Her former home town had, she said, made her "mad, depressed and overworked". |
The following day she wrote: "No more running away from something or someone or myself." But her thoughts had apparently darkened by November 5, when she wrote: "I already accepted that I relate to nothing. The more I gain the more lonely it is... I know I'm like a ghost." And in a final comment on November 18, she posted an entry entitled "Say hi to forever" accompanied by a video of the song I Go Deep by British singer Jim Rivers. One internet link redirects to a website on Joy Division, whose lead singer Ian Curtis hanged himself in 1980.
French commentators pointed to the parallels between her death and that of Lucy Gordon, 28, the British model-turned-actress who hanged herself in May. Like Gordon, who featured in Spider Man 3 and stars as Jane Birkin in an forthcoming film, she was found by a friend in a flat in the trendy 10th arrondissement of Paris.

COMMENTS (11/22/09): Make that seven South Korean actresses since February 2005 (or a supermodel as famous in the West as in the East in this case). Comparisons are being made between Daul Kim's hanging and Lucy Gordon's in the media. 2009 is not yet over and already this prediction has reached PREDICTION OVERKILL ... and the prediction was intended for July 2010. At this rate, I can only conclude that things have occurred a year early or else all these deaths prefigure that of a super-actress, a major icon of film, or else a major female pop singer, who will hang herself in a spectacular suicide next year. Are there clues to be found in the hanging deaths of those discussed above?

Fashion industry in shock over
models suicide Hindustan Times Mumbai, June 27, 2010 As news of former top model Viveka Babajees death sinks in, the fashion industry is still reeling from shock. On the night that she took her life in her Bandra apartment, most people refused to answer calls. Those who did, hadnt heard the tragic news yet. I cant believe it, said designer Nikasha Tawadey. I am designing the wedding garment of one of her close friends which is happening in July. She was supposed to be there. Delhi-based make-up artiste Ambika Pillai revealed that the industry was waiting for Babajees mother and sister to fly down from Mauritius so that plans for a funeral or memorial service could be finalised. She said,We may fly down to Mumbai, but nothing will happen before her mother gets here. Babajees suicide note mentioned a Gautam Vora who is currently being questionned on his involvement by the police. While clues point to a bad relationship, industry insiders believe that a failed business could have also played a hand. Babajee was the director of an event management company called Vibgyor Entertainment. Model and actor Aryan Vaid revealed, A couple of days ago, she mentioned on Facebook that she wasnt working with her event management company anymore. Sometimes, when your career isnt doing well and your personal life is a mess, it all seems hopeless. Choreographer and Babajees contemporary, Marc Robinson, received the news while out of the country. Poor poor girl. Its such a waste of a life, he opined. Photographer Atul Kasbekar was the lensman behind the Kamasutra ad that catapulted Babajee to instant fame. I did her first campaign when she came to India from Mauritius. I remember thinking she was stunning, he recalled, adding, Im just as shocked as everybody else. Then, the choice of model for the ad was clear. She was in a field of one. Kasbekar added, Everybody thought she was doing very well for herself. People on the outside think this is a glamourous life. But one day, the phone will stop ringing and the work will dry up. Its a stressful life. Former Miss India Anna Bredmeyer was a close friend of Babajee and revealed, Ive known her since she first got into the business. She was the nicest person. I dont think anybody had a problem with her because she never stepped on anybodys toes. Bredmeyer had recently met the model at an event. She said, I was with my son, who Viveka was very fond of. She seemed perfectly happy. I just wish that she had reached out to somebody before taking such a drastic step. Viveka Babajee was a former Miss Mauritius. She shot to fame with the ad for Kamasutra condoms. She started an event management company called Vibgyor Entertainment. She allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan with the gas turned on. Her suicide note mentions probable boyfriend Gautam Vora. Viveka Babajee hanged herself, autopsy report confirms dnaindia.com Saturday, June 26, 2010 18:12 IST Former supermodel Viveka Babajee's autopsy report, received by the police Saturday afternoon, has confirmed that she committed suicide by hanging herself, a top police official said. "The post-mortem report has confirmed that she committed suicide by hanging herself. We are still investigating the motives which could have led her to take the extreme step," additional police commissioner (west) Amitabh Gupta told IANS. Gupta said Viveka's friends, associates, neighbours and other eyewitnesses were being questioned to unravel the mystery behind the suicide of the 37-year-old model. "We are confident of getting at the truth very soon," he said. Shooting to fame in the mid-1990s with her Kamasutra condom ads, Viveka was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her living room by her neighbours in Continental Apartments, Bandra West, Friday night. Suspecting a gas leak, some neighbours rang the doorbell outside her flat but got no response. They alerted the fire brigade and police, who later found her body dangling from the ceiling fan. According to people connected with Mumbai's glamour industry, Viveka was in a state of depression after allegedly breaking up with her boyfriend recently. The Khar Police seized her mobile phone, a laptop, a diary and other articles which could lead them to the motives behind her suicide. Viveka's family members are expected to arrive in Mumbai Saturday from Mauritius to take charge of her body. Another Model Down: Viveka Babajee Commits Suicide The Cut 6/25/10 at 7:02 PM Bollywood actress and Indian model Viveka Babajee, 37, was found dead today, Thaindian News reports. She allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her suburban Mumbai apartment. According to The Calcutta Telegraph, the former Miss Mauritius titleholder and one-time face of Coca-Cola and Kama Sutra ads in India, suffered from severe depression. Babajee's death adds to an ever-growing list of recent model suicides, loaning credence to what Jezebel contributor and ex-model Jenna Sauers posited last month: "Suicidal models are fashion's worst trend." Indeed, in the past two years, a hauntingly high number of models have taken their own lives. There was 20-year-old Korean superstar Daul Kim, of course, who stalked down runways for Alexander McQueen and Chanel before hanging herself in her Paris apartment last November. French model Noémie Lenoir tried to kill herself in May; and last Friday, one day before the men's fashion shows kicked off, 22-year-old French model Tom Nicon plunged from his apartment in Milan, in what authorities suspect was a suicide. And that's to say nothing of the deaths of Russian Vogue cover model Ruslana Korshunova, Colombian model-turned-TV presenter Lina Marulanda, Canadian bombshell Hayley Kohle, not to mention Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow ... |

COMMENTS (7/4/10): As can be seen above, the hanging suicide of supermodel Daul Kim brought the second 1-to-100 scale only to 75% and not 100% ... because she was a model and not an actress or singer (the singer suicide aspect of the prediction has been made into a seperate prediction with its own vector below). However, her status as international supermodel and her method of suicide (hanging was the predicted method) placed her suicide as high as it did on the second scale.
The failed suicide attempt by drugs overdose (and not hanging) of international supermodel Noemie Lenoir, the suicide jumping (and not hanging) of Colombian TV presenter Lina Marulanda, and the hanging death of South Asian supermodel Viveka Babajee contributed in bringing the second metre up 25 points from 75% to 100%.
Babajee's supermodel status and the manner of her suicide conforms to the prediction, making this a case of PREDICTION OVERKILL.
It is being reported that the hung body of Viveka Babajee was found wearing a green night dress and that she had fashioned the noose out of a negligee.

Another Viveka? Ex-model Natasha
Padbidri hangs herself to death RIT Online | July 11, 2010 MUMBAI: A 31-year-old former model committed suicide at her Yari Road apartment on Sunday. Natasha Padbidri was found hanging from the ceiling fan, police officials said. She was clinically depressed and was seeking treatment for her condition. Natasha's death comes weeks after former supermodel Viveka Babajee's suicide, under similar conditions, at her Bandra flat. Natasha's family owns two flats at Pelikan building- she stayed alone in a fifth-floor flat while her parents and brothers lived in a flat on the ground floor. "She had walked the ramp for fashion shows nearly 8-9 years ago. Lately, she didn't have any modelling assignments,'' a senior police official said. "Natasha's family told our officers that they had dinner together on Saturday night in the ground-floor flat, following which she went back to her own apartment. On Sunday morning, Natasha's mother tried calling her on her cellphone to come down for breakfast. But the calls were not answered,'' the official said. Around noon, Natasha's mother and two brothers then went to her flat and knocked on the door. But there was no response. Her family then summoned a duplicate key maker and opened the door and found Natasha hanging from the ceiling fan in her bedroom. They rushed her to Cooper Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. "No suicide note has been recovered. We do not suspect foul play. Prima facie, it appears that depression drove her to take the drastic step,'' the official added. "We are exploring all possibilities like professional failure, financial trouble or relationship problems.'' When Natasha was much younger and a student of Khalsa college in Matunga, she had met with a serious accident and injured her leg, for which she had to be hospitalised. More recently, she underwent treatment for depression at Bombay Hospital in 2006. She is survived by her father Sudhir, mother Rose and brothers Ryan and Sheldon. |

RED ALERT SUICIDE WATCH RED ALERT SUICIDE WATCH RED ALERT
Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail, 90 Days of RehabABC News July 6, 2010 Bawling and broken, Lindsay Lohan learned today that she's going back to jail. Beverly Hills judge Marsha Revel declared the 24-year-old starlet in violation of probation for her 2007 DUI conviction for failing to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes. Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in-patient rehab. Following Revel's ruling, Lohan broke down sobbing, barely sputtering a "yes" when Revel asked if she understood and accepted the terms of her probation. Revel ordered Lohan to surrender on July 20 at 8:30 a.m. PT. According to Steve Whitmore, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department, Lohan will serve her time at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California and will be segregated from the general jail population. Lohan may only end up serving a few weeks of her 90 day jail sentence -- Whitmore noted that "female, non-violent prisoners will do about 25-percent of their sentence" because L.A. jails suffer from "an overcrowding sitution." After the hearing, Lisa Bloom, the attorney for Lohan's estranged father, Michael, said that if the starlet had followed their advice and gone to rehab, she might not be facing jail time now. Michael Lohan has long maintained that his daughter is addicted to prescription drugs. "If she had gone to rehab anytime over the last several months, when we were begging her to go to rehab, she could have avoided all of this," Bloom said. "Where she belongs is rehab. We don't believe incarceration is the place for addicts." Prior to learning her fate, Lohan pleaded her case to the court. "I just wanted to take a minute to say that, as far as I knew, I was being in compliance with my programs," she started. "When I asked to leave town, [the alcohol ed program] would give me permission to leave town." I wasn't expecting any special treatment aside from the understanding that I have to provide for myself, I have to work. My schedule is, unfortunately, very different," she continued. "Having said that, I did do everything I was told to do and did the best I could to balance jobs and showing up." Then, the tears started flowing. Lohan held her head in her hands as she attempted to compose herself. She went on talking, and at times, sounded incomprehensible. "I know that I was ordered to go once a week. ... I was working, mostly, I was working with children, it wasn't vacation, it wasn't some sort of a joke," she said, sniffling. "I wanted to make sure that I would come back here making you happy and the court system." Lohan pulled herself together for the conclusion of her monologue. "I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life, it's my career," she said. "I've learned from my experiences, I take responsibility for my actions, I've tried to do the best I can." Her best wasn't good enough in the court's eyes. "She knew [the prosecutor] would be asking for jail time and yet still after all that, she didn't comply with the court order and the court does find her in violation of her probation," Revel said. Prosecutor Danette Meyers went to great lengths to show the degree to which Lohan violated her probation by failing to attend weekly alcohol education classes according to the schedule set by Revel. Lindsay Lohan sobs as she's sentenced to 90 days in jail Mail Online 1:21 AM on 7th July 2010 Lindsay Lohan broke down in tears as she was sentenced to 90 days in jail after violating her probation. The stunned actress sobbed as the Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel handed down the term and blasted her for not taking her probation in two 2007 drink driving cases seriously. Lohan, who will start her sentence on July 20, must also serve 90 days as an inpatient on a substance abuse programme once she is released from jail. The actress had tearfully addressed the judge in a last attempt to avoid jail after it was ruled she violated her probation by repeatedly missing court-ordered alcohol education classes. Lohan protested she did not realise she had not been keeping up with the order and insisted a busy work schedule had stopped her attending regularly. She maintained: 'I was taking it seriously. I wasn't expecting any special treatment.''I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life and my career, something I have worked for my entire life.' She was handed a box of tissues to wipe her eyes as the tears flowed. Lohan told the judge: 'I have tried to do the best I can. It's just been such a long haul. I don't want you to think I don't respect you and your terms. 'I really did think I was doing what I was supposed to do, and I mean it with all my heart.' But the judge wasn't buying, saying: "I couldn't have been more clear [about my orders]. There are no excuses.' The Beverly Hills court heard Lohan repeatedly missed once-weekly classes at an alcohol-education program. Lohan had failed to attend the program at least nine times since October 16, the court heard. Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley claimed Lohan had done well by meeting the overall terms of her probation. She urged the judge not to punish Lohan too severely because she 'did the best she could under extremely difficult circumstances.'Lohan was on probation after two DUI offences in less than two months in 2007. On May 26, 2007, the actress was in a Mercedes-Benz that crashed into a hedge along Sunset Boulevard. Less than two months later she was arrested in Santa Monica on suspicion of drink driving. Lohan later pleaded no contest to two counts each of drunken driving and being under the influence of cocaine, and one count of reckless driving. She spent 84 minutes in jail and was placed on three years probation. Lohan's probation was extended for a year in October after she missed some alcohol-education classes while making a movie in Texas. In May she failed to show up for a court hearing because she was at the Cannes Film Festival. Her legal team claimed she was stranded in France after her passport was stolen. Lohan eventually made it to court four days late, when she was ordered to wear a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet as a condition of her release on bail pending today's probation hearing. She was also ordered to undergo random drug testing, among other conditions. On June 6 the SCRAM bracelet indicated Lohan may have violated her bail by consuming alcohol after the MTV Movie Awards. The judge doubled Lohan's bail and the actress posted a bond with the court, allowing her to remain out of custody. At today's hearing Revel did not consider the SCRAM anklet as part of her determination of whether Lohan violated probation. The judge conceded Lohan was ordered to wear the SCRAM device as a condition of her bail when she appeared in court in May, not when she was placed on probation. Lohan was ordered to continue wearing the SCRAM device until she reports to jail. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail for the reckless driving case, 30 days consecutive for the first DUI case and another 30 days consecutive for the second drink driving case. Lindsay, who swapped her outfit half way through proceedings, will start her sentence July 20. |

FROM Celebrity Deaths and Mishaps:
Name, Sound, and Letter Systems: What has now taken place
... Lindsay Lohan's pending 90 day jail sentence handed down on
July 6 ... eclipses anything that occurred in May or early June.
Thus, the orange colouring of her name in
this instance should be looked upon as a code blue instead. It stands right
out like the true omen it is, not only for the jail time Lohan
faces, but potentially for the psychological damage this may
cause.
I do not think I am exaggerating when I say that Lindsay's self destructive behaviour may become much worse and that even a suicide watch should be put into place. The danger of sudden death by some form of suicide may not actually come until August of next year (the Marilyn Monroe/Diana/Sharon Tate/Carole Landis/Carole Lombard/Thelma Todd/etc death line). The "lin" sound in Lindsay's name (LIN-dsay) has ripples of Mari-LYN Monroe and the "low" sound in Lindsay's name (LO-han) has echoes of Marilyn Mon-ROE (making her Sadie Lynn Hanlow in anagram). She is also one double initial removed from Marilyn Monroe's (L.L. compared to M.M.).
However, certain other influences from this year's death line now dominate: actress Virginia Maskell's suicide by drugs overdose in 1968, actress Grace Kelly's car crash death in 1982, actress Dominique Dunne's strangulation murder in 1982, the double suicide of actresses Brenda Benet and Romy Schneider in 1982, actress Margaux Hemingway's drugs overdose suicide in 1996, and actress Lana Clarkson's mysterious gun-shooting-off-in-mouth murder (or kinky spontaneous suicide) in 2003. None of this bodes well for shattered Lindsay. Lindsay posed nude for a photographer with a gun in her mouth, Lana Clarkson style, in April and released the image to the Internet. Add to this that Lindsay is starring in a biopic about the late porn legend and deep throater Linda Lovelace (who died from injuries sustained in a car crash in 2002), and two other influences suddenly present themselves: the car crash death of porn actress Holly Landers in 2003 and the hanging suicide of porn actress Kristine Heller in 1989.
All-in-all, the base 7 influences for Lindsay Lohan are truly terrible as she is also following in the steps of once drug-and-alcohol-addicted actress Drew Barrymore who attempted suicide in 1989.
Lindsay Lohan: Ill Kill Myself Before I Go To Jail!Associated Press July 14th, 2010 Lindsay is threatening to end her life if she has to carry out her 90 day jail sentence! Her entire family is so worried that they have Lindsay on a 24 hour suicide watch! Lindsay Lohan would rather kill herself than be locked away in jail. The 24-year-old actress is reportedly so upset over the 90 day jail sentence looming over her since July 6, that shes threatening to take her own life. She just kept repeating, I cant go to jail, and, Ill kill myself first, a source tells Star magazine. Shes mentally unstable and getting worse." After Lindsays discovered shed be serving time at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., Star reports she went home and broke everything in sight. "She ran around breaking mirrors, cutting herself and rambling like a lunatic. She tore her house apart before she finally just broke down, reveals a source. Lindsays on a 24/7 suicide watch, its so bad. She isnt doing well with this. Not only is Lindsay going around saying she wants to kill herself but shes taking a lethal dose of prescription drugs. She has been doctor shopping across the country, she says. She is utterly unable to control her use of any mind-altering substance. |

| from various news sources October 31, 2010 Popular Indian model and TV actress, Rinky Chaudhary, has committed suicide at her residence in Ballabh Society Apartments of Oshiara area, Goregaon. According to police authorities, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her flat. It is shocking news for the Indian fashion industry as well as the television industry, as she was also working as a television actress. Her body was found by her boyfriend, Shahid, who was shocked to see her hanging from the ceiling. He cut the nylon rope and tried to pour water in her mouth, but she did not respond. Malik then informed the police. After police reached her flat, she was rushed to Cooper Hospital, but was declared dead on admission. Officials from Goregaon police station said that Chowdhary resided alone in her flat at Vallabh Society near Oshiwara depot. Chowdhury has acted in films like Mere Baap Pehle Aap, Malamaal Weekly, Yeh Kaisa Prem Hai, Love Guru, along with TV shows like CID, and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi. When asked if any suicide note was found at the spot, the police were non-committal and said they were busy with hospital formalities. They said the investigation was still ongoing at her residence. The police have registered a case of suicide.
A spokesman at Cooper Hospital said: "Preliminary medical examinations have revealed ligature marks around her neck as a result of hanging. So far, we do not see any possibility of foul play; no suicide note was found at the spot. Primary investigation later showed that the rope marks on Rinky's neck indicated that someone tried pulling her suspended body from below, but investigators are not sure if she was still very much alive at the time or dead. UPDATE: Two days after small time model Rinki Choudhary committed suicide in her Goregaon apartment, the police have registered a case of murder against her boyfriend Sahil Malik. Malik had claimed that he was painting the bedroom walls at her residence when Choudhary went into the kitchen and hung herself from the ceiling fan on Thursday. The postmortem reports helped the police nab Malik, against whom they have registered a case of murder and divulging incorrect information to the police. Police inspector Surendra Paitankar of Goregaon police station said, "In a case of hanging, the marks on the neck are usually V-shaped, since the rope or dupatta gets pulled from the top. But in this case, the marks were around the neck. This proves that she was strangulated before she was hanged." http://www.mid-day.com/news/2010/oct/311010-rinki-choudhary-sahil-malik-model-suicide-murder-case.htm http://www.ndtv.com/article/cities/model-found-dead-at-her-mumbai-flat-63176?pfrom=Cities http://www.thatsfamous.com/5753-model-rinky-chaudhary-commits-suicide-at-her-residence/ |

| Model Diane
Tweedle found hanged after secret abortion
Metro.co.uk 21st October, 2010 A model was found dead just weeks after having an abortion, an inquest heard. Diane Tweedle, who had appeared in a number of pop videos, was found hanging from a hairdryer cord in her bedroom. She had been taking diet pills, which affected her sleep, the inquest heard. But the 24-year-old was a bubbly person and the life and soul of the party, her mother, Debbie, said. Miss Tweedle had been excited at plans to visit her family in Bournemouth, her mother added. But she was found dead by her flatmate in Deptford, south London, on April 15 the day before she was due to arrive. One of several notes she left read: I didnt want to do it. The models boyfriend, Paul Dodd, told police she had an abortion two or three weeks earlier but was not down about it. Her mother said she had no knowledge of an abortion. Six years ago, Miss Tweedle found her fathers body after he took his own life, her GP said. Southwark coroner Doreen Lawrence recorded an open verdict, saying the models actions may have been a cry for help. |
Now the Western female celebs are beginning to commit suicide by hanging ... or else stating they almost did during "live" rehab television. The British model and pop video star, Diane Tweedle, actually hanged herself and the much more famous American supermodel and TV actress Janice Dickinson (below) said on live television, in no uncertain terms, that she wanted to hang herself.

Rehab"
Opposing Views December 01, 2010 Dr. Drew Pinsky might consider another line of work Supermodel Janice Dickinson says that she felt like killing herself while in his rehab filming for the show Celebrity Rehab 4. She wanted to go to the bathroom to hang herself because she felt so poorly while detoxing from alcohol and prescription meds. I dont know what Dr. Drew and his therapists actually do to help the patients but to us it seems like what he cares about most is making good television to help his ratings. Via Daily Mail: Im having thoughts of suicide, she says while gasping for breath. I wanted to go to the bathroom and try to hang myself. I want it to end. Its really painful, she continues. Its very painful. Her counsellor tells her: Youre going through the toughest part of your life right now, the fight for your life. Rehab is a time for self-renewal and making people feel better not being so negative that they want to die. Last season we watched former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr fight so much with one of the dumb therapists that he was ready to quit rehab and this was after he was well over his addiction and withdrawal from heroin! Celebrity Rehab 4: Janice Dickinson admits to 'sucidal thoughts'
'I want to drink and I want to party Mail Online 1st December 2010 Supermodel Janice Dickinson admitted she was contemplating suicide while fighting an addiction to alcohol and prescription medication. The 55-year-old is seen breaking down in tears as she reveals she 'wants it to end' in a preview for the upcoming American series, Celebrity Rehab 4. She is among a host of fallen stars who checked into the Pasadena Recovery Centre for the show earlier this year, including singer Leif Garrett, Tiger Woods' mistress Rachel Uchitel and Party of Five's Jeremy London. During her time in the treatment facility, an inconsolable Dickinson is seen confiding in her counsellor. 'I'm having thoughts of suicide,' she says while gasping for breathe. 'I wanted to go to the bathroom and try to hang myself. I want it to... end.' She says that she 'slipped' after years of sobriety, adding that 'the shame is overbearing. ''It's really painful,' she continues. 'It's very painful.' Her counsellor tells her: 'You're going through the toughest part of your life right now, the fight for your life.' 'I am an alcoholic and a chemically dependent woman. I want to drink and I want to party and that's not good.' Dickinson, who took prescription pills for anxiety and insomnia, told Dr Drew Pinsky that she suffered abuse at the hands of her father as a child. 'I was damaged beauty from the start,' she says. 'My dad had rage issues.' Confrontation: Janice and Rachel Uchitel came to blows during their time in the facility. 'I don't feel good inside,' she continues. 'I don't sleep. You have no idea about the abuse. You have no idea how bad I feel.' The mother of two, who also came to blows with Uchitel during her rehab stint, appeared on four cycles of America's Next Top Model. She went on to opened her own modeling agency in 2005, which was documented on the reality TV show, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. |
A significant CLOSE CALL because Janice Dickinson is a "faded" but major American model and TV actress who has made a "live" and public admission as to what kind of suicide she was considering (the kind predicted: by hanging). The prediction was mostly addressing a danger to a Western female celeb. Thus far, it has largely applied to British and Hollywood actress Lucy Gordon and British TV actress Stephanie Parker who hung themselves in April and May 2009 ... both a year early. Now it appears the danger to a well-known Western actress, possibly American, has reignited two (October) and four (December) months after the July 2010 vector ... Lindsay Lohan remains one of these who may be especially prone to a potential suicide ...

| Sandra Bullock, Jesse James
divorce finalized The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES Sandra Bullock and Jesse James are divorced. A court clerk in Austin, Texas, confirmed that the divorce between the Oscar-winning actress and celebrity biker was finalized Monday. Bullock filed to end the marriage in April after reports surfaced that James had been unfaithful. Details of the settlement were sealed by the court, but Bullock's initial filing cited "discord or conflict of personalities" as grounds for the divorce. An attorney for Bullock did not immediately return calls to The Associated Press on Tuesday, but her publicist, Cheryl Maisel, confirmed the couple's split was complete. James' publicist, Monique Huey-Jones, declined to comment Tuesday. The actress and "Monster Garage" star met in 2003 and married in 2005. It seemed like an odd pairing the movie star often called "America's Sweetheart" marrying the tattooed biker who had been wed twice before. It was the first marriage for Bullock, who became a devoted stepmom to James' children: Sunny, 6; Jesse Jr., 12; and Chandler, 15. The couple stayed out of the public eye as they continued their individual successes. She racked up film and production credits, while he expanded his reality-TV presence, starring in his own series, "Jesse James is a Dead Man," and appearing on "The Celebrity Apprentice." Their problems surfaced in March, just days after Bullock won the best-actress Oscar for her role in "The Blind Side." She had been on a career high her romantic comedy, "The Proposal," was a box-office smash, then she swept Hollywood's awards season for her "Blind Side" performance. The couple was a fixture at the glittery awards shows this year. She called James "sexy" as she accepted her Screen Actor's Guild award. Backstage, he held her purse as she spoke to reporters. At the Golden Globes, Bullock told James from the stage, her voice cracking with emotion: "There's no surprise that my work got better when I met you. Because I never knew what it felt like for someone to have my back." She did not thank her husband at the Academy Awards, instead dedicating her acceptance speech to mothers and parents everywhere. Still, the couple walked hand-in-hand down Oscar's red carpet, celebrated together at the parties afterward and were photographed outside a Long Beach burger joint the next day. Ten days later, reports surfaced that James had been unfaithful while Bullock was away making her Oscar-winning film. He apologized to his wife and three children from previous relationships through a statement released by his publicist. "It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way," he said. "This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension, and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them." Bullock canceled appearances to promote "The Blind Side" overseas, moved out of the home she shared with James and dropped out of sight. James went to rehab, but did not reveal why he needed treatment. Bullock in April dropped a bombshell, announcing on the cover of People magazine that she was divorcing James and had adopted a baby boy who she intended to raise as a single mother. |
COMMENTS (7/11/10): An awful lot can sometimes be said in a brief, one-line prediction and a date. "Great Female Icon Divorces" is so applicable here it isn't funny. Sandra Bullock even earned the title of "America's Sweetheart." How's that for an icon? And although there have been nine other notable divorces this year, no female celebrity involved comes anywhere close to the long-standing fame of actress Sandra Bullock. Even more eerie is how very close the dating for this prediction is: the divorce was finalised on June 28, 2010 ... three days later and it would have been July 1, 2010. The vector for this prediction is July 2010. This is a PREDICTION FULFILLED.

Accident on Set of Movie Kills One or More Major Actors

NEW PREDICTION: 12/24/09, PRESENTATION POSTED: 7/20/10 -- This rather infrequent event last occurred in Russia in 2003 and the United States in 1982. Obviously, it could happen on the set of any major film producing nation, even if I tend to favour it being European, if not American (or Russian again). The timing is July 2010, or several months later, so, as this is a late post, care should be taken.

injured filming Transformers sequel Telegraph 10:26PM BST 02 Sep 2010 Gabriella Cedillo, 24, was injured as she drove a car during a stunt for Transformers. She was reportedly airlifted to Loyola Medical Centre in Maywood, Illinois, after an object struck a car she was driving for a stunt, went through the windshield and hit her. The car then hit a barrier wall and travelled about a mile before coming to a stop, according to Illinois police. A witness to the accident told Fox: From the way it looked, I dont know if she was knocked out immediately or not but the ... vehicle just went, it just kept going. The third Transformers film, directed by Michael Bay, stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whitely. LaBeouf was recently crowned the best value actor in Hollywood. The 24-year-old actress made a profit of £81 for every £1 he was paid. Young Womans Skull Sliced Open During Accident On Transformers 3 Set Mediaite, LLC 1:30 pm, September 3rd, 2010 Truly sad news from Indiana as Gabriela Cedillo, a 24-year old woman who was acting as an extra on the set of Transformers 3 was seriously injured during an accident. The woman was being paid $25 to be one of many people driving their own cars down the highway as the crew filmed an elaborate stunt on the other side of the road. Something went wrong and a cable shot across the street and sliced through her car. This took place on Wednesday night. Thursday was supposed to be the last day of filming. From Chicagos ABC 7: ABC 7 is also reporting that extras only signed waivers about not talking to the media so this may end up being a large financial problem for the filmmakers. However, those will all be questions for the future, right now all thats important is the health of Cedillo who was rushed to the Loyola hospital. The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that she had surgery and is now in stable condition. Freak Accident on the Set of 'Transformers 3' Associated Content September 05, 2010 Gabriela Cedillo, an extra on the movie set of Transformers 3, was seriously injured while filming a scene on Wednesday evening in Indiana. She was sitting in her car, when debris from a nearby stunt crashed through her windshield and severely injured her head. The 24-year-old bank teller was paid an additional $25 to use her own car during the film shoot. "The vehicle was being towed by another vehicle," fellow extra Blaine Baker told a local ABC station. "The cable between the two vehicles broke. It whipped around and sliced through the woman's car and sliced through her skull, apparently." In May, during the filming of The Big Year in Tolfino, British Columbia, extras were thrown from a boat after it hit a sandbar during low tide. All of the extras involved in the boating incident were transported to a local hospital; their injuries were considered minor. The producers talked to the extras thrown from the boat and they each wanted to continue working in the film. The Big Year stars Jack Black, Owen Wilson and Steve Martin. In 1982, a deadly helicopter accident on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie, took the lives of one adult and two children. The adult was actor, Vic Morrow, and the two children, Myca Dinh Le and Renee Shin-Yi Chen, were extras in the movie. Pyrotechnic explosions caused the helicopter pilot to lose control and crash into the three victims, killing them instantly. While no one affiliated with the production of the film were criminally charged, legal battles against the film-makers ensued over a decade. As a result of the Twilight Zone tragedy, regulations were changed in regards to children working in films. Transformers 3" Extra in Coma After Accident On Set Indyposted September 7, 2010 A Chicago bank teller working as a minimum-wage extra on the Indiana set of Transformers 3 is in a medically induced coma after brain surgery, according to the Chicago Fox affiliate. AP adds that the woman, 24, is able to move her hands and legs but remains unconscious. Her family and treating physicians say that her condition seems to be improving. There seems to be conflicting accounts of what actually happened but apparently the woman was in her own personal car during last Wednesdays filming when a broken cable or some other object went through her windshield and smashed into her head. According to news reports quoting local police, the movie was filming a stunt involving multiple vehicles and drivers and flying cars when a metal object struck Gabriella Cedillos personal 2006 Toyota. It went through the windshield and hit the 24-year-old driver who was not a stunt professional or member of the stunt personnel. The Toyota hit the inner median concrete barrier wall and had extensive damage to the drivers side. Shooting for the second Transformers sequel was supposed to wrap the next day in Chicago but apparently the final day of filming may have been canceled altogether. Indiana authorities and the studio are both conducting an investigation into the accident. Regardless of the outcome of the inquiry, however, there is a strong likelihood that Michael Bay and others will be on the receiving end of a huge personal injury lawsuit in the very near future. |
COMMENTS (9/21/10): What a sense of de ja vu. Even the writer of the report from Associated Content could not resist seeing the parallel between this film set accident and the one that occurred on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie which decapitated actor Vic Morrow and two Vietnamese child extras in July 1982 (28, 4 x 7, years ago). No major actor was involved in this case, but eerily enough the extra Gabriela Cedillo was scalped when the cable shot out and sliced through her car, sheering off the top of her skull. Very close to a decapitation, which would have been fatal obviously. It is still a miracle she survived, although she remains in a coma at this writing. PREDICTION FULFILLED ... without a fatality.

NEW PREDICTION: 11/27/08, PRESENTATION POSTED: 7/11/10 -- The title pretty much says it all, although why anyone would want to bother is beyond me. As the month of July 2010 is nearly half over, it looks as though the psycho in question is (understandably) too timid to show.

Mail Online 10th December 2010 With terror written across her face, the Duchess of Cornwall comes under fire from a snarling mob of student fees rioters last night. In the worst royal security breach for a generation, the car carrying her and Prince Charles was kicked, rocked and hit with paint bombs. A steaming gang of masked protesters ambushed them as they were being driven to the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, raising echoes of the 1974 kidnap attempt on Princess Anne. The Prince and the Duchess were not hurt, but the potential risk to their safety will raise new questions about police readiness following the fiasco last month which saw fees protesters smash up Tory Party headquarters. Metropolitan police chief Sir Paul Stephenson voiced his fury last night. Right-minded people, including peaceful protesters who wanted to make their point, will condemn what we saw today, he said. David Cameron said the attack on the royal car was shocking and regrettable. Observers said as few as half of the crowd were students, with a rent-a-mob of anarchists and other thugs taking control ... CAMILLA gasps in horror as yobs attack her and Prince Charless car after student protests descended into violent mayhem last night Tim Pedley, Daily Mirror 10 December 2010 The royal couple sat terrified as their Rolls-Royce was kicked, pelted with objects, shaken from side to side and splattered with paint. Camilla began to cry and clasped Charless hand as masked thugs surged past police outriders, smashed a window and tried to overturn the limo. The attack came after 20,000 protesters paralysed London as ConDem MPs voted to triple tuition fees to £9,000 a year. Rioters vandalised Westminster in running battles with police that left 55 people injured including 12 officers. Royal car attack: Duchess of Cornwall "laughs off" student protest fees scare The Telegraph Friday 10 December 2010 The Duchess of Cornwall laughed off the student protest fee attack on her and the Prince of Wales, saying she was "fine" and joking there was a "first time for everything". The 63 year-old and her husband, 62, narrowly escaped injury after the attack in central London as they made their way to the Royal Variety Performance. But as she arrived at the London Palladium, in the capital's West End, she was clearly seen to have been left badly shaken by the terrifying, sustained attack on the couples claret Rolls-Royce. Their 1977 Phantom VI, a gift to the Queen from the Car Association to celebrate her silver jubilee, has toughened glass but is designed to give the public the best possible view of members of the Royal family, rather than being an armoured vehicle. The rear passenger side window, where the Prince had been seated, was smashed and the car was splattered with white paint. Pictures of the incident, adorned over much of the national newspapers showed her face contorted in terror. They were clearly shocked as the demonstrators who had spilt over from a violent protest outside parliament and oxford Street hurled glass bottles, litter bins and paint at their car. The car behind, the police Jaguar, also came under attack. By the time the Prince and the Duchess got out at the theatre, they had regained their composure and wore relaxed smiles. Inside, Charles smiled as he was introduced to celebrities including Australian singer Kylie Minogue and British band Take That. Among the other performers at the Palladium were tenor Russell Watson and singer Cheryl Cole. The Duchess, who together with the Prince, was attending one of the couple's favourite events on the royal calendar, later laughed off the attack, insisting she was "fine". When asked how she was as she left the London Palladium, the Duchess said: ''I'm fine thanks first time for everything.'' |

Dating-game murderer may have
killed 30 smh.com.au February 28, 2010 LOS ANGELES: Detectives in the US fear a serial killer with a genius-level IQ may be a ''new Ted Bundy'', responsible for up to 30 murders. Rodney Alcala, 66, known as the dating-game killer because he once appeared on an American version of TV show Perfect Match, was found guilty last week of five murders in Los Angeles. The photographer, who has an IQ of more than 160, killed schoolgirl Robin Samsoe, 12, in 1979, and four women whose deaths had remained unsolved for decades. But police believe Alcala, who has been in custody since 1979 and has twice had previous convictions overturned, could be responsible for dozens more deaths in New York and LA in the '70s. A court in Orange County, California, heard that the bodies of two of his victims had been posed nude and possibly photographed after their deaths. One victim was attacked with a claw hammer. Others were repeatedly strangled and resuscitated to prolong their agony before they were killed. Alcala, who is likely to be sentenced to death for each of the five killings, represented himself in a bizarre court performance on Thursday when he posed questions and then answered them himself. During the six-week trial he showed the jury a video of his appearance on an episode of The Dating Game in 1978. He was successful in being picked by a woman for a date. Police alleged that Robin Samsoe's earrings had been found in his possession but Alcala said they were his. He claimed the video showed him wearing the earrings on the dating show, filmed a year before Robin's death. Advances in DNA-testing also helped link him to the killings of nurse Georgia Wixted, 27; legal secretary Charlotte Lamb, 32; computer programmer Jill Parenteau, 21; and Jill Barcomb, 18. Prosecutor Matt Murphy said Alcala hunted women like prey. ''He gets off on the infliction of pain on other people,'' Mr Murphy told the court. ''He committed unspeakable acts of horror.'' Detectives in New York are investigating the murders of women that occurred while Alcala was living in the city between 1968 and 1971, and again in 1977. Possible victims include a flight attendant and a nightclub heiress. Steve Hodel, a retired LA detective who interviewed Alcala, said: ''This could easily be another Ted Bundy. It could be 20, 30 victims. The acts he committed, you've got this monster inside of him.'' LA detective Cliff Shepard said: ''He's right up somewhere just below Hitler and right around Ted Bundy. We know he's been cross-country a couple of times. We believe there's more out there.'' In the '70s Bundy bludgeoned, raped and strangled dozens of victims in the US. He was executed in 1989. Alcala graduated with a fine arts degree from the University of California and is believed to have studied film in New York under Roman Polanksi before working as a typesetter at the Los Angeles Times. He used the alias John Berger, the name of a popular British author. Alcala deployed his skills as a photographer to lure victims to their deaths, taking pictures of women in bikinis on the beach for ''photo contests''. California serial killer sentenced to death vancouverite.com March 9, 2010 SANTA ANA A jury recommended Tuesday that a serial murderer receive the death penalty for kidnapping and murdering a 12-year-old Orange County girl and raping and murdering four Los Angeles County women in the 1970s. Rodney James Alcala, 66, was found guilty by a jury Feb. 25 of five felony counts of murder and one felony count of kidnapping. The jury found true the sentencing enhancements for committing multiple murders, murder with torture, murder during the commission of rape, murder during the commission of kidnapping, murder during the commission of a burglary of an inhabited dwelling, and murder during the commission of a robbery ... * Murder of Jill Barcomb, Los Angeles County: In November 1977, Alcala raped, sodomized, and murdered 18-year-old Jill Barcomb, a New York native who had recently moved to California. He used a large rock to smash in the victims face, causing blunt force trauma, and strangled her to death by tying her belt and pant leg around her neck. He then left the victims body in a mountainous area in the foothills near Hollywood. The murdered victim was discovered Nov. 10, 1977, on her knees with her face in the dirt. The case was investigated but went cold. Biological evidence was collected at the scene, but DNA technology was not available at that time. * Murder of Georgia Wixted, Los Angeles County: In December 1977, Alcala raped, sodomized, and murdered 27-year-old nurse Georgia Wixted. He used the claw end of a hammer to beat the victim and smash in her head. He strangled her to death using a nylon stocking and left her body in her Malibu apartment. The victim was discovered Dec. 16, 1977. The case was investigated but went cold. Biological evidence was collected at the scene, but DNA technology was not available at that time. * Murder of Charlotte Lamb, Los Angeles County: In June 1979, Alcala raped, beat, and murdered 33-year-old legal secretary Charlotte Lamb. He strangled the victim using a shoelace from her shoe and left her body in a laundry room of an El Segundo apartment complex. The victim did not live in the complex and has no known connection to it. Lambs body was discovered June 24, 1979. The case was investigated but went cold. The case was investigated but went cold. Biological evidence was collected at the scene, but DNA technology was not available at that time. * Murder of Jill Parenteau, Los Angeles County: In June 1979, Alcala raped and murdered 21-year-old Jill Parenteau in her Burbank apartment. The defendant strangled the victim using a cord or nylon. Alcalas blood was collected from the scene after he cut himself crawling through a window. Based on a semi-rare blood match, Alcala was linked to the murder. He was charged for murdering Parenteau but the case was later dismissed after his first conviction for the murder of Robin Samsoe. * Murder of Robin Samsoe, Orange County: On June 20, 1979, Alcala approached 12-year-old Robin Samsoe at the beach in Huntington Beach and asked the victim to pose for pictures. After posing for a series of photographs, the victim got on a bike and rode away, heading for an afternoon dance class. Alcala kidnapped and murdered Samsoe and dumped her body near Sierra Madre in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The victims body was scavenged by animals and her skeletal remains were discovered July 2, 1979. Her front teeth had been knocked out by Alcala. "Dating Game" Killer's Photos Linked To Four Missing Women Wednesday, March 17 2010 (Huntington Beach, CA) -- Authorities have linked convicted serial killer Rodney Alcala to as many as four unsolved cases of women who disappeared or were murdered in the 1970s. The "Orange County Register" reports police in Huntington Beach, California are working with law enforcement agencies from Alaska to Arizona on the most recent leads, which came to light after photos apparently taken by Alcala in the 1970s linked him with the missing women. The paper says even before the photos were released, the New York Police Department was investigating the so-called "Dating Game" killer in three other cases, and law enforcement agencies in New England were looking at five other cases. Last week, a jury recommended Alcala be sentenced to die for the murders of five women in the 1970s. He was convicted on February 25th for the murders of a 12-year-old girl and four women from Los Angeles. Prosecutor: Serial killer linked to more cases The
Associated Press SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Convicted serial killer Rodney James Alcala may be linked to the unsolved cases of at least six people who disappeared or were killed, Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said Thursday. "We're looking at about maybe six more cases that could possibly amount to actual cases," Rackauckas said. "What we'd like to do is to try to identify anybody who might be another one of his victims and try to help these people ... find some sort of knowledge as to what it was that happened to their missing loved ones." A jury earlier this month recommended the death penalty for Alcala in the serial slayings of four Los Angeles County women and one 12-year-old Orange County girl between 1977 and 1979. Witnesses testified that Alcala was seen snapping pictures of 12-year-old Robin Samsoe and her young friend on the beach just minutes before she disappeared. He was tied to the other four murders through forensic evidence, including DNA ... Six Cases Possibly Linked to Serial Killer's Stash of Photos Crimesider - CBS News March 19, 2010 11:02 AM SANTA ANA, Calif. (CBS/AP) Investigators from Washington State to Arizona are looking at cases from before 1979 to determine if any of them can be connected to Rodney Alcala, the convicted California serial killer whose stash of photographs may be a disturbing portfolio of victims. Last week, Huntington Beach police released more than 100 old photos mainly of unidentified young women, girls and even babies. They believe Alcala took the pictures in the 1970s and placed them in a storage locker he rented before his arrest in 1979, for the rape and murder of 12-year-old Robin Samsoe. Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said Thursday that his department was looking at about six other cases they believe could beconnected to Acala. "What we'd like to do is to try to identify anybody who might be another one of his victims and try to help these people," Rackauckas said. "Find some sort of knowledge as to what it was that happened to their missing loved ones." Some of the calls to the Huntington Beach Police Department came from relatives and friends of at least four women who disappeared or were killed in the '70s. Police are working to confirm any possible connection to the pictures and establish a timeline of Alcala's whereabouts during that decade. Even before the photos were released, New York City police were investigating Alcala in three other cases, while law enforcement agencies in New England were taking a look at five other cases, authorities have said. A jury earlier this month recommended the death penalty for Alcala in the serial slayings of Robin Samsoe and four other Los Angeles County women between 1977 and 1979. Witnesses testified that Alcala was seen snapping pictures of Robin Samsoe and her young friend on the beach just minutes before she disappeared. He was tied to the other four murders through forensic evidence, including DNA. Anyone with information about the women in the pictures is asked to call Huntington Beach Police Detective Patrick Ellis at 714-375-5066. Police Identify Some Of Women In Photographs Taken By Condemned Serial Killer Rodney Alcala Sky News 6:24pm UK, Monday March 22, 2010 Police want to identify more than 100 women and children in Alcala's pictures Detectives released the photos amid fears they could feature more victims of Rodney Alcala - so far all of those identified are alive. Last month, Alcala, dubbed "the new Ted Bundy" after the notorious serial killer of the 1970s and 80s, was convicted of the murders of four women and a 12-year-old girl in the 1970s. The jury recommended he face the death penalty. The 66-year-old, who has a genius IQ of more than 160, was found guilty of what were described as five of the "most disturbing killings ever seen". Prosecutors say Alcala used his camera to gain the trust of young women and have been examining hundreds of photographs he took before his first arrest in 1979. The photos feature women and girls in candid and posed shots and some 900 were not released because they were considered too sexually graphic. Most of the dozens of subjects in the photos have never been identified and now police have asked for the public's help in figuring out who the women are. The women who have been identified live in several states and one has told police she was molested by Alcala. The statute of limitations to press charges has expired. Police in Huntington Beach, California, say so far there have been no reports that anyone in the photos was reported missing. Prosecutor Matt Murphy said: "We'd like to locate the women in these pictures. Did they simply pose for a serial killer, or did they become victims of his sadistic, murderous pattern?" Some photos show women posing in remote settings similar to the spot where 12-year-old Robin Samsoe's body was found in 1979. Alcala was sentenced to death twice before for Robin's murder but those verdicts were overturned on appeal. Prosecutors re-filed charges in that case and added the four other murders in 2006 after investigators linked them to Alcala using DNA samples and other forensic evidence. Those cases, which had gone unsolved for decades, went on trial for the first time this year. Jurors took just an hour to return the death recommendation after a six-week trial in which Alcala represented himself and took the stand in his own defence. UPDATE: Alcala may have murdered an additional seven girls living in Seattle
In Seattle, King County Sheriffs Sgt. John Urquhart said today that his office has been told by a tipster that one of the photos taken away from Alcala looks like Cherry Greenman, who was last seen leaving a jail in 1976. King County investigators are waiting for a better copy of the photo from Huntington Beach police so they can show it to Greenmans family, Urquhart said.
The two girls in Seattle who may have been Alcalas victims are 13-year-old Tony Witaker and 17-year-old Joyce Gaunt, Jamieson said. By all means, we started going through our old cold cases as did the sheriffs department (in King County), but at this point theres nothing definitive, Jamieson said. Out of all the cold cases we have, these two fit the profile. |
COMMENTS (3/27/10): Frightening how correct this prediction is ... a serial killer and rapist on trial for the murders of four women and a 12-year-old girl is now believed to be responsible for 30 unsolved murders in the 1970s, seven of them from the Seattle area. It appears police have had another Ted Bundy in custody and never knew it. The only thing wrong with this prediction is that the unsolved murders and abductions go back thirty years and do not include cold cases from 2007, 2008, or 2009. Thus it is only 75% FULFILLED. Perhaps the more recent cold cases of strangled coeds will be solved soon: at least four of them are quite similar and could have been killed by the same person.

Unsolved no longer: The murders of Ellen Hover, left, and Cornelia Michel Crilley, centre, remained on police file from the Seventies. New evidence in both cases indicates they were murdered by serial killer Rodney Alcala, right.

Is a serial killer living in Fairfax, Virginia responsible for unsolved slayings, rapes, and abductions in Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina?
Pat Brown is a
criminal profiler who believes that Morgan Harrington's killer is a
"very dangerous predator" who
graduated from being a serial rapist in 2005
to a serial killer. His 2005 victim was a
resident of and was raped in Fairfax Virginia, which is 2-hours
away from Charlottsville Virginia, where Morgan Harrington's body
was found.
This is clearly a person who moves around a lot. As the map shows, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina are very close together ... and these states are filled with cold cases of abductions, rapes, and murders going back to 2007.
Murder victim Vanessa Pham (Fairfax, VA), murder victim Morgan Harrington (Fairfax, VA), anonymous rape victim (Fairfax, VA), possible murder victim Carmen Gloria Sanchez Gutierrez (Morgantown, W. VA), missing person Kristi Cornwell (Blairsville, GA), anonymous assault/attempted abduction victim (Morgan County, GA), anonymous attempted abduction victim (Murphy, NC), anonymous assault/attempted abduction victim (Ranger, NC), and murder victim Irina Yarmolenko (Raleigh, NC) ... may well all be connected.
A SERIAL KILLER STALKS AMONG US

A killer stalks among us Inside NoVA By
Kari Pugh Prince William County, Va. - The man who killed Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington likely has strong ties to both Charlottesville and Northern Virginia, where he attacked another woman in 2005. "He has some nexus," retired FBI profiler Gregg McCrary said in a recent phone interview. "He strikes where he is comfortable, in his own territory." Virginia State Police announced earlier this month that they'd found a definite forensic link between the October 2009 disappearance and death of 20-year-old Morgan Harrington and the September 2005 abduction and sexual assault of a 26-year-old woman in Fairfax city, not far from George Mason University. Investigators won't say what that link is, but Harrington's parents have said it was a DNA database hit. State police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said the Virginia Department of Forensics made the connection, and the information is now being compared in databases across the nation. Police so far have not tied the man to any other crimes, or stumbled upon his identity in any state or national offender databases. But McCrary, a Spotsylvania County resident who has worked on hundreds of serial murder cases, said the two attacks are not the killer's only offenses. "It's hard for me to imagine that he hasn't tried this before," he said. "There have been unsuccessful attempts in both Northern Virginia and the Charlottesville areas. Chances are, there are unreported cases, victims." Do you know this man? State police admit they took a risk by putting out a composite sketch of the man. It was created in 2005, based on the memory of the victim in the Fairfax city attack. "Composites cut both ways," McCrary said. "If it looks a lot like the guy, it could be helpful. If it doesn't, it can be a distraction. You're dealing with witness recollections in a traumatic situation." Attack in Fairfax The Sept. 24, 2005, attack in Fairfax caused a wave of panic in the neighborhoods surrounding George Mason University. The victim was walking home from a Giant Food grocery store on Jermantown Road about 10 p.m. when she was grabbed from behind. The attacker carried her to a park area off Rock Garden Drive, where he sexually assaulted her. He then let her go and ran toward Fairhaven Court. The victim described her attacker as black, 25 to 35 years old, about 6 feet tall with black hair, a beard and a mustache. The victim tried to fight him off, telling detectives she'd left scratches on his face. Charlottesville Morgan Harrington disappeared on Oct. 17, 2009, during a Metallica concert at the University of Virginia in Charlotteville. Despite a massive search and national media attention, her body wasn't found until Jan. 26, 2010, when a farmer discovered her skeletal remains on his 700-acre property in Albemarle County. In February, state police investigators said they were convinced that the killer worked or lived near the farm in southern Albemarle County, and that the area had some significance to him emotionally. In a news release, state police stated that the man they were looking for "may have been inclined to return to the farm during a period of increased stress." McCrary said dumping Harrington's body on a remote farm was risky, as was grabbing a woman on a well-traveled path in Fairfax, showing he was confident and knew both areas well. But who is he? Is he a student who has attended both U.Va. and GMU? Did he grow up in Charlottesville? Does he have relatives he visits in Northern Virginia? Is he a roadie who works concert venues? There was a Googoosh show at the nearby George Mason Patriot Center the night of the 2005 attack. |

"There are so many scenarios possible, and we are looking at them all," Geller said. "We are hoping somebody out there looks at the composite and there's some recognition. Maybe the facial hair has changed, maybe the hairline or even the hairstyle has changed. But look at the eyes, the facial structure." Geller said police have received close to 80 tips since releasing the composite earlier this month. She said investigators are in the process of vetting those leads, and working with Fairfax city police to identify a killerbefore he strikes again.
He's still out there
McCrary said, and state police agree, that the man's pattern shows an escalation in his crimes. "He will most certainly strike again," McCrary said. "Your chance of crossing paths with this guy is slim, but I'd tell women to be vigilant. Use reasonable care, stay with your friends if you're out at a concert."
For state police, "that pressure exists to find this person," Geller said. "There is a pattern developing, and we need to prevent it from happening again," she said.
She said investigators are convinced that someone out there has the missing piece to the puzzle, whether they know it or not. "For people who think, 'I might have seen this person,' you might discount it. But we might have two other people who saw the same thing. Call us, e-mail us and let us see if the piece fits."
We may go a step further here and a bit farther to the south ... to the state of Florida and the rape/strangulation murder of Nicole Ganguzza. The Fairfax rape victim described her attacker as being "black, 25 to 35 years old, about 6 feet tall with black hair, a beard and a mustache."

Search continues for serial rapistWednesday, 23 Jun 2010, 8:31 AM EDT By Shannon Butler | FOX 35 News ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The attacker has guts, little fear of the cops and total disregard for women, according to investigators. They say he busts into their homes while their asleep and rapes them. Orange county detectives are looking for a serial rapist. The rapist wears a mask and gloves and has been on the run for more than a year. Detectives say there is no way to identify him by face, and no fingerprints left behind. He breaks into the homes by kicking in doors even trying windows. He ties up his victims and then slips out the door. His targets, so far, are women who are alone in their apartments. Two women are students at the University of Central Florida and another victim is affiliated with the school. Detectives say he doesn't stalk them, but they are not sure how he picks his victims. The first rape was in May of 2009 at the Fountains Apartments off of Alafaya Trail. The second occurred in February of this year at Heather Glen Apartments close to UCF. The third attack happened this past Saturday at the Waterside Apartments. All of the locations are just a few miles apart. He is described as a having dark skin, possibly in his late 20s, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 180 pounds. |
| Faulty
evidence allowed so as not to damage prosecution's case
An investigation by The (Raleigh) News and Observer this year revealed that SBI crime analysts have at times conducted misleading forensic tests and failed to disclose evidence that would be damaging to the prosecution. The reports showed that analysts sometimes used junk science in their testing and structured reports to fit the theory of the prosecution. The improprieties most often involved blood analysis, but also extended to DNA and other forensic tests in some cases. Yarmolenko's body was found next to a car near the Catawba River in Gaston County on May 5, 2008. A bungee cord, a nylon strap that had been cut from her book bag, and a drawstring from her hooded sweater were all wrapped around her neck. Neal Cassada and Mark Carver told investigators they were in the area where the 20-year-old UNC Charlotte students body was found that morning because they were fishing. The DNA of both cousins was found in Yarmolenkos car, but not on any of the items found wrapped around her neck, according to court documents. Phillips, who was Cassadas attorney, said he had not planned to argue to jurors that the SBI crime labs troubles alone were reason to doubt the prosecutions DNA evidence. He intended to focus more on the lack of any DNA evidence on the objects around Yarmolenkos neck, under her fingernails or anywhere else on her body. Theres no evidence whatsoever that ties (Cassada) to her body, said Phillips. The only evidence they have was that he touched the window or armrest of the car. That could have just been him being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Its well established in North Carolina that youre not necessarily guilty of a crime just because youre at a murder scene. Neal Cassada dies before trial, all charges dropped ... but Mark Carver must still be tried???
Neal Cassada, who was 55 and had suffered two previous heart attacks, died on Sunday morning of what appeared to be natural causes. His first-degree murder trial was to start Monday. Gaston County District Attorney Locke Bell on Monday dropped all charges against the 55-year-old Cassada. Cassada's family blames his apparent heart attack on the stress of the accusations. "My daddy is an innocent man, not because he's dead, because he was an innocent man. He was not capable of this and we want his name cleared," his son, Shannon, said. But they say he was ready for his day in court and the opportunity to clear his name. "He was looking forward to it. We knew his name was going to get cleared," his granddaughter, Taylor, said. MY COMMENTS: This case is one of the most confusing ones still active. The last news reported about Cassada and Carver was that they had been released and were no longer considered suspects, that the evidence did not point in their direction. After that came reports that police were still searching for a killer, and that some suspicion had fallen on a university teacher Yarmolenko knew. Then the next thing we know, Carver and Cassada are back in the news as suspects that have been released on bond. No reports exist of their re-arrest, since they had already been released. The final all time report was that Cassada emphatically asserted he was not guilty whilst free on bond. Now after a year, suddenly there is a trial??? Where was the news all year long that these guys were suspects again and going to go on trial?? Believe me, I have been checking the news at least three times a week for information on this case ... and I am stunned that the police thought they had a closed case all this time??? If there is ANY reasonable doubt that Carver and Cassada murdered Irina Yarmolenko, and there must have been for the DA to clear Cassada's name posthumously, then that means a killer is still loose out there in that area ... the same area where Morgan Harrington, Vanessa Pham, Carmen Gloria Sanchez Gutierrez, Shaunna Walley, and now Shana Hight were murdered, and where Kristi Cornwell has been missing since August of last year. Let's face it, you don't drop all homicide charges even if a suspect dies, unless he wasn't very much of a suspect to begin with ... and you don't let him free on bond for well over a year ... not unless the DNA evidence was forged or planted, as the article indicates may have been the case. Isn't it obvious that if the DA saw it fit to clear Cassada, probably based on evidence not being discussed with the media, then Carver should also be cleared since they were accused of operating together as a team? I suggest authorities abandon this sham of a trial against the other brother, Carver, and get back to business looking for a serial killer that has been plaguing this part of the United States since at least May 2008. His latest victim: Shana Hight. Forensic details reveal startling twists in the case Prosecution
Prosecutors rolled out a flat-screen television to show jurors pictures of their daughter lying in the overgrown brush with three items wrapped around her neck: a bungee cord, ribbon and drawstring. Jurors got their first look at the weapons that were used to strangle Yarmolenko during witness testimony Wednesday morning. Jurors watched as a Mount Holly detective opened evidence bags and held up three unlikely items a blue ribbon, a drawstring and a bungee cord. All of the ligatures came from Yarmolenkos car or clothing and each was wrapped around her neck when her body was found, one of her feet almost in the river. "This was a crime of opportunity," Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Hamlin said. "Irina had three items wrapped around her neck. And all three came from either her clothing or her car." The prosecutor said Yarmolenko had a cord from her sweatshirt wrapped so tightly around her neck it caused blistering on her skin. She also had a blue ribbon around her neck that had been torn from a small flower bag that had been in her back seat. A bungee cord had been wrapped around her neck several times. Prosecutors contend that Yarmolenko was at the river to take photos of kayakers when she happened upon Carver and Cassada. Prosecutor Stetzer said the two men held her down and put binds around her neck. DNA found on her car, he said, suggests the men were standing on either side of the vehicle. They tried to push the car into the river, he said, in an attempt to hide the evidence. "There is no innocent reason to push that car down the hill," Stetzer told the jury. When the vehicle got caught on a stump, they then dragged her body into the water, Stetzer said, washing away any DNA they may have left on her body. Defence Investigators testified they found Carvers DNA on the rear pillar of Yarmolenkos blue Saturn. However, defense attorneys have pointed out Carvers DNA was not found on any of the three things used to strangle her to death. The bungee cord around Yarmolenkos neck had no conclusive DNA evidence. The drawstring and ribbon also around her neck only had DNA that identified her, said Winningham. The prosecution has presented solely forensic evidence to the jury to map out what happened to Yarmolenko. Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Hamlin said that Carver and Cassada committed a crime of opportunity, but a motive has not been given. Defense attorney Phillips said that at most his client is guilty of touching a car or perhaps considering taking something from it. Carver told investigators during interrogation that he and his cousin were merely fishing nearby on the river. Both men deny ever having seen the woman. Taped interviews Carver had with police were admitted into evidence but never viewed by jurors. Phillips told jurors that his client is a scapegoat the state has chosen to throw under the bus. Despite DNA evidence that put Carver and Cassada by the car, Phillips said the state failed to prove that his client did anything more than touch the blue Saturn owned by Yarmolenko. Carver's other attorney, Brent Ratchford, screamed at one point - "That's not true" - when contradicting Prosecutor Bill Stetzer's earlier claim that unidentified DNA found in the back seat of Yarmolenko's car might have been Carver's. Ratchford reminded jurors of testimony from the State Bureau of Investigation that showed unidentified DNA was also found on the ribbon and bungee cord, but it did not match Carver - suggesting that someone else killed her. "It's their job to present you credible evidence, not the Wizard of Oz," Ratchford said. |
Well, it is done. Either the police really got their man, which I doubt, or an innocent scapegoat has been given life in prison. I would ask what the implications are if Mark Bradley Carver IS innocent. And why drop charges against Cassada posthumously a day after his death if he was accused of being an accomplice? Did Carver have to die of a heart attack too to have all charges against him dismissed?
The implications if Carver is innocent is that the killer is still out there ... and there have been a lot of unsolved murders of college coeds and young women in the region of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Georgia in 2008 and since then, including the murders of Morgan Harrington, Vanessa Pham, Kristi Cornwell, Shaunna Walley, Aimee Pitt, and others.
Brother Finds Georgia Woman's Burned Remains More Than a Year After Disappearance
January 03, 2011 | FoxNews.com DECATUR, GA The brother of a woman who disappeared while on the phone with her boyfriend more than a year ago found her burned, skeletal remains Saturday in the north Georgia woods, authorities said Monday. Kristi Cornwell was a 38-year-old probation officer when she disappeared while out for a walk near her parents' home in north Georgia on Aug. 11, 2009. Her boyfriend, who was talking to her on her cell phone at the time, told police she said a vehicle appeared to be following her and he overheard a struggle moments later. Richard Cornwell found his sister's remains Saturday while conducting his own search of a 2-square-mile area using information given to him by police, said Vernon Keenan, director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Investigators had planned to search that land this month because cell phone records indicated the primary suspect, James Scott Carringer, was there the night that Cornwell disappeared. Carringer later killed himself during a standoff with police "We're thankful that Kristi can now have a proper burial that she deserves," Richard Cornwell told reporters at a news conference, his voice cracking. Kristi Cornwell's body had been burned, and the medical examiner could not determine how she died, Keenan said. A state forensic pathologist used dental records to identify her remains. "Richard has been searching diligently for his sister Kristi since she disappeared," Keenan said at the news conference. "He has spent many hours scouring the area in Union County trying to locate her." Authorities said the case remains an open investigation, even though the primary suspect is dead. Cornwell's disappearance confounded local authorities. Soon after she vanished, investigators found her cell phone about two miles north of where she was last seen, but there was no trace of her until this past weekend. The bureau was flooded with dozens of tips in December 2009 after investigators released a sketch of a possible suspect and a vehicle, a Nissa Xterra, that was spotted in the area the night Cornwell went missing. In January 2010, the Cherokee County, N.C., sheriff's office and the Union County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous letter from a woman who said the sketch of the Ranger suspect looked like her grandson and that the grandson drove a Nissan Xterra. To this date, that woman has not been located, said John Bankhead, spokesman for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Authorities later scoured the car of a 42-year-old man who killed himself after police came to arrest him on rape charges. They believed James Scott Carringer, 42, could have been involved in Cornwell's disappearance because he lived a few miles from where she was last seen and owned a silver Nissan Xterra. To date, the bureau says it has conducted more than 1,250 individual, documented investigative acts as part of this continuing investigation. This does not include the 11 days of active searching for Kristi during August 2009 in Union County by numerous local, state and federal agencies. Seven hundred and seventy-six tips were called in to the tip line and investigated. The neighborhood canvassing involved conducting interviews at 450 houses in the area. The case file is now 40 volumes. BACKGROUND: Possible Break in Kristi Cornwell Case? Two Other Women in Area Assaulted and Nearly Abducted by Man in Sketch The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released a sketch of a man they believe is a suspect in the disappearance of missing Georgia woman, Kristi Cornwell. Investigators from GBI and the Union County (Ga.) Sheriffs Office is asking for the publics assistance in identifying the man in the sketch, who was involved in another attempted kidnapping in Ranger, North Carolina, near Cherokee, NC. Authorities say the timing and vehicle description involved in the incident indicate a possible connection to Cornwells disappearance. The incident in Ranger occurred on August 2 while a woman was walking along a road toward the Ranger Community Center. The victim told Cherokee County (NC) Sheriffs Office authorities that a vehicle pulled up behind her and knocked her to the ground and a man got out of the vehicle. The victim said that as the man began walking up to her, another car came up and the man got back in his car and left. The victim, who was not seriously injured, saw the mans facial profile and also noticed that the vehicle was a silver, late model SUV. A second woman in Morgan County, Ga. said a man who attacked her in June also looked like the sketch of the suspect in an attempted abduction in August in Cherokee County, N.C. GBI spokesman John Bankhead said Thursday that the Morgan County woman told investigators she was assaulted in June while trying to fix her broken-down car on the side of a highway. Investigators said that they are looking for a white man, in his mid-20s, with dark hair who was driving a silver Nissan Xterra with tinted windows and a brush guard in front. Police say Cornwell was talking to her boyfriend, Douglas Davis, on the cell phone the night she disappeared. She sounded frantic, according to Davis, saying a large vehicle was following her, then he heard a struggle, and finally the words, "Don't take me!" Police believe she was abducted by persons unknown who followed her in a white SUV and gold imported sedan. Georgia woman missing and feared abducted
Kristi Cornwell, 38, has been missing since August 11, 2009. A man mowing his lawn found her cell phone near where detectives believe she was out for a walk in Blairsville, Ga., when a car pulled up and she was abducted. Police say Cornwell, the mother of a 15-year-old son, was talking to her boyfriend, Douglas Davis, on the cell phone the night she was kidnapped. Davis says at approximately 9 PM, Cornwell sounded frantic, saying a large vehicle was following her. Somebodys coming I gotta move off the side of the road, she said nervously. After a short pause, Davis heard the sounds of a struggle, then Kristi's last words, pleading, screaming: "Don't take me!" A GBS agent has since identified a large-size white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban, and a gold imported sedan as the two vehicles likely driven by Cornwells abductors. Another attempted kidnapping occurred only one town away in Murphy N.C. at 9:30 p.m. -- right about when Cornwell, 38, was grabbed while walking along Jones Creek Road, not far from her home. In the Murphy case, the female jogger said she saw a red Ford Ranger following her. Kristi Cornwell was a graduate of North Georgia College and University and received a degree in Criminal Justice. She was attending Dalton State College to earn an additional degree in Medical Laboratory Technology when she was abducted on August 11, 2009. MY COMMENTS: So now it is officially a murder after having been a missing persons case for so very long. The cause of death has not or cannot be determined. It also seems that authorities have conveniently forgotten the police sketch and three other attempted abductions by the driver of the same car only a few miles away from where Kristi Cornwell disappeared. I would not jump to the conclusion that the so-called "dead suspect," James Scott Carringer, had anything to do with Cornwell's abduction and murder. They have not placed him at the scene of the other incidents, so why in this case? Besides, if they were so certain, the case and investigation would not remain officially open. It seems the judicial and investigative system in Georgia is not much different than in South Carolina. If you can't put an innocent man in prison for the murder of a young woman, then blame a dead man for the murder of another. |

NEW PREDICTION: 11/14/08 -- Currently, astronomers are having a field day as they watch what appear to be Saturn's version of the "northern lights" radiating outwards from the ringed planet. It is the most significant "first" regarding Saturn since it was photographed by Voyager 1 in 1980 and Voyager 2 in 1981. We may expect to at least see something of this nature occur on the planet Neptune in August 2010. What it will be I cannot say, but it may be quite spectacular.

Southern band of Jupiter is missing
| Comet struck Neptune 200 years ago,
researchers find CSMonitor.com July 21, 2010 Researchers studying Neptune's atmosphere found evidence that a comet may have hit the planet about two centuries ago. Was this a "cold-case" file re-opened, or did they discover a way to travel back in time to witness a long-ago event? To make the discovery, a team from the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research actually used the Herschel Space Telescope's PACS (Photodetector Array Camera and Spectrometer) instrument, along with what was learned from observations from when the Shoemaker-Levy 9 hit Jupiter sixteen years ago. The 1994 impact on Jupiter was watched and documented by Voyager 2, Galileo and Ulysses, and today this data helps scientists detect cometary impacts that happened many, many years ago. In fact, just in February of this year, scientists from Max Planck discovered strong evidence for a comet impact on Saturn about 230 years ago. These "dirty snowballs" leave traces of water, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocyanic acid, and carbon sulfide in the atmosphere of the gas giant planets. These molecules can be detected in the radiation the planet radiates into space. So, the team turned their attention to Neptune, and used the PACS to analyze the long-wave infrared radiation of Neptune. The atmosphere of Neptune mainly consists of hydrogen and helium with traces of water, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. However, the scientists detected an unusual distribution of carbon monoxide in the stratosphere, the upper layer of the atmosphere, and found a higher concentration than in the layer beneath, the troposphere. "The higher concentration of carbon monoxide in the stratosphere can only be explained by an external origin," said MPS-scientist Paul Hartogh, principle investigator of the Herschel science program. "Normally, the concentrations of carbon monoxide in troposphere and stratosphere should be the same or decrease with increasing height," he said. Another theory suggested that a constant flux of tiny dust particles from space introduces carbon monoxide into Neptunes atmosphere. However, the newest observations from PACS does not lend credence to that idea, and the team concluded the only explanation for these results is a cometary impact. Such a collision forces the comet to fall apart while the carbon monoxide trapped in the comets ice is released and over the years distributed throughout the stratosphere. "From the distribution of carbon monoxide we can therefore derive the approximate time, when the impact took place," said Thibault Cavalié from MPS, which showed the impact was about 200 years ago. PACS was developed at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics, and it analyzes the long-wave infrared radiation, also known as heat radiation, that the cold bodies in space such as Neptune emit. |
COMMENTS (7/23/10): Almost August 2010 and this breaking news suddenly shifts all eyes on Neptune ... as and when I predicted. There may be much more to this story or from Neptune yet to come, but it is a PREDICTION FULFILLED.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/24/09, PRESENTATION POSTED: 7/11/10 -- In a surprise move, with all eyes on Georgia, Russian forces will launch a new war against Ukraine in August 2010. However, if Georgia is the republic in danger, Russia will reopen the conflict began in August 2008. Nato and the US are hamstrung or reluctant to do anything about it; this may likely be related to the planned air war against Russia's ally, Iran.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/24/09, PRESENTATION POSTED: 7/20/10 -- We should not be too surprised if we see this region which has broken out in violence in the recent past do so again in August 2010. By that time, we will be nearing the blood-soaked "October Revolution" of the many European states mentioned below. Indeed, rioting has already begun occurring in France.

August 30, 2010 -- Updated 1236 GMT (2036 HKT)
>(CNN) -- Six people were killed and 14 wounded in a shooting incident in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, Monday morning, the state news agency TASR reported, citing an emergency services representative. The shooter is "reportedly" among the dead, TASR said without citing a source. Police spokeswoman Petra Kraskova said the police were not releasing any information yet, the agency said. The Ministry of the Interior and the police are due to hold a press conference at 2:30 local time (8:30 a.m. ET), the Interior Ministry told CNN. Bus service has been disrupted as a result, the agency said, citing transport offical Peter Kavecky. The dead included four women and two men, said Dominika Sulkova of the emergency services. The shooting took place in the Bratislava neighborhood of Devinska Nova Ves, TASR reported.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/24/09, PRESENTATION POSTED: 9/8/10 -- This is obviously posted late, as the vector is August 2010 and it is now September 8, 2010. Nevertheless, there could still be many teeth left in this prediction. It is a simple enough concept ... and rather bland, I suppose, in this post-911 age. Nevertheless, there it is ... a US airliner is bombed by terrorists and, saving a miracle, all aboard will die.

NEW PREDICTION: 7/11/10 -- The alternative future counterpart to this prediction appears on 2010 (Part Two) where a Russian detonated EMP knocks out the electricity to the entire east coast of the United States. One may now hope this will not happen, but who can say if Israel and the US decide to attack Iran? Iran even brags it has one nuclear warhead on a long-range missile capable of causing a massive EMP over the United States.
This prediction, however, is about yet another failure of the power grid, similar to what occurred in NYC in 1965 and 1977, and much of the US Northeast in 2003. How bad it will be is difficult to say ... NYC again, another major east coast city such as Washington DC, the northeastern US again, or maybe the entire east coast. If it happens, it will be near to the vector of August 2010.
1 Dead as Tornado-Like Storm Rips Through the Region -- 27,000 NYC households without power; 40,000 in New JerseyNBC New York 10:02 PM EDT, Thu, Sep 16, 2010 A short but violent tornado-like storm swept through New York City and parts of New Jersey on Thursday, uprooting trees and damaging cars and causing at least one fatality, overturned trees, widespread property damage and power outages. The evening storm walloped Brooklyn and Queens knocking down trees and sending residents scrambling. The storm hit just after 5 p.m., when the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Staten Island. Shortly afterward, warnings were issued for Brooklyn and Queens. Con Edison is reporting 30,000 households without power in the five boroughs including 25,000 in Queens and 6,000 in Staten Island. As of 7:30 pm, power lines were still on fire in Queens. 40,000 New Jersey households were without power. Jersey Central Power and Light said about 12,000 customers had no service, with areas of western Monmouth County and northern Ocean county among the hardest hit. 10,000 PSE&G customers in north Jersey had no service, while about 17,300 Atlantic City Electric customers were in the dark. One person is reported dead after a tree fell down and crushed a parked car on the Grand Central Parkway near Jewel Avenue. The driver, an unidentified woman, pulled over on the side of the road to escape the rain. A tractor trailer overturned on the Gowanus Expressway, according to eyewitness accounts. Long Island Rail Road service has suspended from Penn Station to Jamaica and Penn Station and Port Washington. Limited eastbound service is available from Jamaica. Penn Station was mobbed and to prevent further overcrowding, police and the National Guard were stopping people from entering the station. Service for departures and arrivals at LaGuardia, Newark and JFK airports was delayed two to three hours. Sideways rain, black clouds and fierce howling winds caused major damage to Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens and parts of Long Island. Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Crown Heights and Bushwick in Brooklyn, and Flushing and Ridgewood in Queens seemed to be hit particularly hard. |
| In the Park Slope, witnesses say the streets
went pitch black at about 5:30 p.m. Trees started waving
around like leaves of grass. Large branches snapped and
hit cars, smashing windshields. A huge tree limb, like 25
feet long, flew right up the street, up the hill and
stopped in the middle of the air 50 feet up in this
intersection and started spinning," said Steve
Carlisle, 54. "It was like a poltergeist." "Then all the garbage cans went up in the air and this spinning tree hits one of them like it was a bat on a ball. The can was launched way, way over there," he said, pointing at a building about 120 feet away where a metal garbage can lay flattened. Townsend Davis, 47, stood outside of his home on Sterling Place in Brooklyn. A 40-foot tree that was uprooted from the sidewalk and crushed two cars still had a sign in the soil around its roots that read "Respect the trees." "Someone up there wasn't listening," Davis said. "I'm just glad it fell that way, as bad as I feel for the owners of that car, because if it fell this way, my house wouldn't be here." Davis' children and wife were in the home when the storm hit. "All of a sudden, we saw this dark cloud, and it was moving. I said 'Let's go in!'" said Stephen Wylie, who was working in a backyard on Quincy Street, in Brooklyn. Within seconds, the front door started lashing back and forth. Trees branches were falling and trees came flying from other yards, Wylie said. Yet a few thousand brave souls found a way to make it to CitiField for the Mets game despite the weather. Andy Wells of Staten Island took the Ferry to the 1 Train to the R to 75th Street in Queens, then walked towards the ballpark. For an hour. "They shoudn't have played," he said. "But I got friends inside the stadium. They're my ride home." Mayor Bloomberg surveyed the damage at 111th St. and 52nd Avenue in Corona and said crews would working overnight to clear the streets. But the mayor said he expected schools to remain open on Friday. There have been reports of damage to school buildings," Bloomberg said. "We do expect all schools to be open tomorrow, but well just- as the night goes on, well make sure that everything is safe. " More than 35,000 without power in NJ after stormsFREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) - September 16, 2010 -- Thousands of people were without power early Thursday night after some powerful, fast-moving storms roared through the state. No injuries were reported. But authorities said the storms - which contained strong winds, heavy rains and dangerous lightning - knocked down trees and power lines in many towns and caused some moderate property damage. The weather also forced the cancellations of some sporting events, including several high school football games and minor league baseball playoff games in Trenton and Lakewood. About 36,000 customers statewide were without power as of 9:15 Thursday night. Jersey Central Power and Light said about 12,000 customers had no service, with areas of western Monmouth County and northern Ocean county the hardest hit. Meanwhile, about 10,000 PSE&G customers had no service, with most outages in Middlesex County. About 14,000 Atlantic City Electric customers were in the dark. |
COMMENTS (9/17/10): A partial blackout affecting Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, New Jersey, and also Long Island. The focus, of course, is the tornadic nature of the storm, the rarity of a tornado in NYC, and the destruction it caused. But not one report fails to mention the widespread power outages. This, combined with the rare and bizarre nature of the event, and the timing, makes this a PREDICTION PARTIALLY FULFILLED.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/24/09, PRESENTATION POSTED: 12/26/10 -- As 2010 winds down to a close, it is important that as many loose ends as possible be tied up in the days ahead, which includes predictions from the list at the bottom of this page which appeared on the Second Home page on December 24, 2009, that have not yet been posted in the customary manner (like this, in other words).
The terrorist attack mentioned in the title above for the southern or southeastern United States, may still happen at any time during the next 12 months despite the August/September 2010 dating. What form it will take I do not know, although it will most likely be from an explosive or a fire. It could even be a series of shootings. I also cannot say for certain if this will be domestic terrorism or Al Qaeda. There has been much talk of a Mumbai-style attack, so perhaps it will be something like that in a city such as Atlanta, GA or even Washington DC. As the vector has already passed, this may even be a failed prediction. Time will tell.

NEW PREDICTION: 11/7/08 -- Following a number of incursive actions by both North Korea and China in the Pacific, and then an invasion of Taiwan by China and attacks on Japan or South Korea by the North, the US and Russia, honouring their commitment to the United Nations signed in December 2009, launch Operation Pacific Storm in August-October 2010. Significant damage will be done to some cities around the Pacific Rim, including in the Western US, by Chinese nuclear missiles, but Russia and the US shall quickly snuff out China's air capabilities, turning the capital city Beijing and a handful of others into glass-filled craters. North Korea will cease to exist forever. China will cease to have any future as a superpower and shall become partitioned by its own people. Some of these, like Muslim Xinjiang province, will link up with Mongolia and Kazakhstan. Others will join with Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and southeast Asian states.
NOTE: This prediction is conditional. If the crisis in March 2010 over Taiwan is handled correctly, this war may not happen at this time.

KOREAN WAR MAY TRIGGER WORLD WAR III

CNN: In a sharp escalation of hostility along their disputed sea border, North Korean and South Korean forces traded fire Tuesday, a deadly skirmish that jacked up diplomatic tensions in a volatile region. Two South Korean marines were killed and 15 South Korean soldiers and civilians were wounded when the North fired about 100 rounds of artillery at Yeonpyeong Island in the Yellow Sea, South Korea authorities said, according to the South Korean Yonhap news agency. South Korea's military responded with more than 80 rounds of artillery and deployed fighter jets to counter the fire, defense officials said. Firing between the two sides lasted for about an hour in the Yellow Sea, a longstanding flashpoint between the two Koreas. | ![]() |
November 23, 2010 (9:40 AM EST), UPDATED November 24, 2010 (8:44 AM EST): Do not underestimate the events unfolding at this time. All eyes have been on the Middle East rather than North Korea since it stopped making war threats in the face of US-South Korean war games in the summer. Aside from the fact that I predicted that war would be threatened by China and/or North Korea in this region by March 2010 and that, if not properly handled, war involving China and North Korea as allies would erupt by October 2010 and terrorise the entire Pacific (so sue me for being a month late), it was none other than Nostradamus who warned that the United States would go to war in the Pacific against a Red Adversary around the time when the US leader would celebrate Thursday as a feast-day: Thanksgiving! (Only two days from now).
Nostradamus, Quatrain 1.50 ~
From
the aquatic triplicity (USA) will be born one who will make
Thursday his feast-day (Thanksgiving):
His fame, praise, rule, and his power will grow, by land and sea,
a tempest to the Orient.

It was also the Hopi Indians who prophesied that a big war in Asia would trigger World War III:
"World
War III will be started by those peoples who first revealed the
light of divine wisdom in the other old countries
(India, China, Islamic Nations). The United States will be
destroyed, land and people, by atomic bombs and
radioactivity."
The only good news at this writing is that what looked like an immediate war has been knocked down a notch to a major international crisis ... for the time being anyway. I need not remind anyone what can happen over the coming hours and days.
As I have stated in my predictions on China and North Korea time and again, remember that North Korea = China and vice versa. War with one will quite likely mean war with the other. Thus, there can be little doubt now that what appeared to be an SLBM (Submarine-launched Ballistic Missile) off the coast of California was indeed just that ... and was preparation for war by North Korea's large ally China.
At the same time, a "young black-haired man" Nostradamus also calls "Aemathien" (which means "child of the dawn" or "child of the sun") is being groomed to replace his dying father, Kim Jong Il. This Aemathien may wage a great war by March-April 2011.
