Clearly it is the events presented in the ALTERNATIVE FUTURE 2 series that should now be our main focus. Thus, it is highly recommended that you keep yourself up to date with the following pages: 2010 (Part Three), 2010 (Part Four), and 2011 (Part Two).
Thus far, six predictions have been fulfilled on the 2010 (Part Three) page during the month of January 2010 alone.
Still, certain predictions presented on this page, such as those regarding a possible US war with North Korea, a US military offensive in Central and/or South America, a mega-revolution breaking out in Russia, and a second civil war in the United States could still easily be fulfilled or come close to fulfillment this year despite the fact that a global war has not occurred.
I should warn, however, that if a global war does break out this year belatedly, many of the "failed" war-related predictions for 2009 will be fulfilled and so, too, will nearly all of the predictions on this page!

NEW PREDICTION: 4/22/08 -- The timing for this event, January 2010, is fairly consistent with the Alois Irlmaier and Erna Stieglitz models for this war. In their versions, the surviving Russians are forced to retreat from western and central Europe fairly quickly, by September if war breaks out in August. Nevertheless, we are warned that the yellow dust will still be being used as a weapon along with a terrifying new weapon contained in 'satanic boxes' about the time of the closest passage of Planet X ('the three days of darkness') in October or November. The end of the weapon's use by January is therefore consistent with prophecy and also logical.

NEW PREDICTION: 4/28/08 -- The second major earthshock following the global chaos Planet X will bring in November 2009, which will obviously include many earthquakes, or should I call it a Planet X aftershock, shall occur in Tajikistan in January 2010 and possibly shake neighbouring Turkmenistan and Afghanistan as well.
COMMENTS (1/31/10): This prediction is most unlikely to be fulfilled on this alternative future as a "Planet X aftershock" since Planet X did not pass close to earth in 2009 ... which it could not do unless there was also a global war in 2009. However, as a "massive quake" occurring well before an approach by Planet X, this seismic event in Tajikistan was fulfilled in Alternative Future 2 on page 2010 (Part Three).

NEW PREDICTION: 5/1/08 -- What's this??? Isn't the US now nuclear toast and no longer a player in the great war? Not yet!
The nuclear war between the US and Russia is extremely limited at this time, although destruction to America from natural causes and genocide committed by its own government will be very great, US forces abroad shall continue to fight ... and fight valiantly. US soldiers shall be side-by-side with European troops using the "yellow dust" against Russia.
Still, the US shall be perceived as greatly weakened, and apparently it shall be in January 2010 that North Korea will begin making trouble in the Pacific. At this time it shall successfully sink a major US battleship. It also appears that China will join in within two months time and the two will make an effort to invade Canada and the US together.

are reports it test-fired a short-range missile just hours later.
The United States and the European Union have sharply criticised
the move, while Russia has expressed concern. Japan's prime
minister says it will seek a new United Nations resolution to

OLD PREDICTION: SPRING 1998, UPDATED 5/1/08 -- Morocco will be used as springboard for a Muslim land invasion of Spain in January-April 2010. The great one of Asia is the Iranian leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (or if dead, his even more dreadful successor). This indicates that the Iranians have now finally linked up with North African forces. The identity of the blues is linked somehow with the Persians (Iranians) who shall drive out the the military forces of the Cross (Western "crusaders"), leaving the civilians of Spain, Portugal, southern France, Monaco, Malta, Sicily, Sardinia, and Italy at the mercy of the cruel Muslim invaders. Even Great Britain shall be plagued by missile bombardments, although, during this particular war, she shall not be invaded nor conquered.

NEW PREDICTION: 9/19/08 -- It should be no surprise this may happen in February 2010 since Indonesia has known little if no rest each year since the the Sumatra Quake and tsunami that occurred in December 2004.
UPDATE (October 3, 2009 | 6:55 AM EDT): As many as 4,000 people could be buried under the rubble in the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes in Indonesia, United Nations officials said Saturday. Local disaster management officials put the death toll from the quakes at 535. Earlier U.N. figures that put the death toll at 1,100 were just estimates, said El-Mostafa Benlamlih, a U.N. humanitarian coordinator.
An area that now looks like a flattened mess of destruction was, just days ago, a group of three villages. Officials believe 90 percent of the residents -- as many as a few hundred people -- were buried, just one piece of the devastation from two large earthquakes that struck Indonesia in as many days. The stench of dead bodies fills the air. Indonesia's health ministry and ministry of social affairs said Friday they believe thousands remain buried beneath rubble.
October 1, 2009: A powerful earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia's Sumatra island Wednesday afternoon, killing more than 400 people and trapping thousands of people beneath flattened buildings. As rescue efforts were under way early Thursday, another powerful earthquake shook western Indonesia, about 180 miles from Wednesday's epicenter, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Wednesday's earthquake had a magnitude of 7.9 and hit offshore 30 miles from Padang, a city of about 750,000 on Sumatra's western coast. The quake was felt as far as Bangkok, about 1,000 miles away.
A second deadly 6.8 magnitude quake hit Thursday in southern Sumatra at 8:52 a.m. local time (0152 GMT), the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said. At least 400 people are dead and more than 500 injured, the Indonesian Social Ministry's Crisis Center said Thursday. It said it had little information on the missing and feared the death toll would climb into the thousands.
75 people have been declared dead in hospitals in Padang. A national disaster agency official later said 200 bodies had been pulled from the rubble, and some 5,000 houses were destroyed. Many more people were suspected to have died in Pariaman, a rural town of about 80,000 people that was closest to the epicenter, north of Padang. Officials received reports of buildings destroyed in Pariaman, and road access to the town was cut off by landslides triggered by the earthquake.

A powerful earthquake with
a magnitude of 8.3 struck off the South Pacific island nation of
Samoa on Tuesday, wiping out villages and killing 110 people in
the region thus far, reports say. At least 77 people are reported
to have died in Samoa, 25 in American Samoa, and at least 6 in
Tonga as towering tsunami waves battered the island states, with
one witness saying the wall of water had been up to 30 feet (nine
metres) high.
One local journalist told AFP entire villages had been wiped out in Samoa on the worst-hit south and southwest coasts in an area where thousands of people live. The Samoan capital of Apia was evacuated as authorities scrambled to get thousands of people to higher ground. Witnesses said cars were swept out to sea in American Samoa where buildings were destroyed in what the US congressman for the territory said was a scene of "utter devastation."
Samoan journalist Jona Tuiletufuga told AFP there was widespread destruction with possibly thousands of people left homeless on the island. "We are getting reports of missing people in areas were damage is extensive on the south and southeast coasts," he told AFP. "Entire villages have been wiped out." "I thought it was the end of the world," a medical official in Pago Pago, the capital of American Samoa, told CNN. US President Barack Obama has declared a major disaster in American Samoa, enabling federal funding to be made available to help victims.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre initially issued a tsunami alert over a vast swathe of the Pacific, as far as Hawaii, but later withdrew the warning after the earthquake was recorded near American Samoa. "As of right now, everybody is up in the high mountain ranges," said Senetenari Malele, announcer for local radio station Showers of Blessings. In nearby Western Samoa, there were also reports of an unknown number of deaths and houses destroyed, but fears of a devastating ocean-wide tsunami dissolved after the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center canceled its warning for the region.
COMMENTS (10/31/09): PREDICTION FULFILLED, although I would have to call this a Planet X Foreshock rather than an Aftershock with a giant tsunami occurring between two linked massive earthquakes.

NEW PREDICTION: 4/28/08 -- The number of Russian casualties, largely ground troops, will be a staggering seven million in number. Nearly all of these shall have been defeated by the horrific weapon used by the Allies called "the yellow dust." The remainder of Russian troops in confusion shall withdraw from the EU and Nato regions back to its own frontiers in February 2010. Some will come under fire as they retreat by Nato soldiers wearing protective uniforms or esconced in ruins of buildings ... the very same buildings and homes destroyed by the Russian tanks and planes, many still in flames. The death zone from the yellow dust shall remain for some years where the Russians fell. Anyone who enters it shall be burned alive and die horribly from the substance.

NEW PREDICTION: 10/29/08 -- I can't see the Russians being behind these attacks. More than likely it will be the Hitler-like Muslim nation of Iran, although one cannot rule out Libya, an ally of Iran, which has received millions of dollars from Russia in missile technology in recent weeks. I say they could be conventional because these attacks may remind one more of the London blitz of World War II rather than a more apocalyptic scenario. The question is what is it the Muslims will seek to cause by these attacks. The missiles may be more likened to terror weapons, like Saddam's Scuds which he shot into major Israeli cities in 1991 during the Second Persian Gulf War. A day may come in the farther future when London will be nuked, but I can't see that happening this early, especially since more attacks are projected. Chemical or biological weapons are indeed a possibility however. This new 'London Blitz' should commence in February 2010.

NEW PREDICTION: 9/21/08 -- Millions of Russians and citizens of former Soviet republics begin a bloody mega-revolution in March 2010 that will ignite civil wars on both sides of the Urals. Military factions grab control of the vast nuclear arsenal. When the civil war is over, many Russian cities and some Transcaucasus and Central Asian cities will be destroyed by Russian nuclear missiles and also by US nuclear missiles following a massive US-Russian exchange. Also what was once the CIS and former Soviet Union shall be forever torn in two. Central Asia and most of Siberia will side with Mongolia, Xinjiang and other Muslim provinces of China, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Iran. Russia will hold itself and its former western CIS states together, although it shall be terribly weakened. In 2025 Russia will be forced to go to war with Central Asia and its allies.

NIGHTMARE: 2010? 3/4 of the United States Is Underwater, Awaiting Russian Nuclear Attack
August 9, 2006 (1:28 AM EDT): At the moment, I have no place else to feature this, the latest potential dream vision I had a few days ago. It should go into a new Dream Window, but at the moment, that would have to appear under a group of predictions I have yet to post for 2009 and 2010. But I feel it is important enough that it should be posted now, here, in any event:

I have dreamt of this only a few days ago, and it was terrible. The United States was essentially reduced to two moderate-sized land masses in the east and west and a scattering of tiny islands. I was somewhere on the East Coast at some television or media centre in a vast curving room (round? kidney-shaped?) with large, flat screen computer monitors mounted on or embedded in the walls. Beneath each screen was a PC work station with a standard alpha-numeric keyboard, but alongside of these on either side was a strange, circular panel that responded to the touch of a hand. Each screen was transmitting or receiving visual transmission from a different nation in the world.
There were men and women working there and I asked what happened to the East Coast and someone replied that a large part of it no longer existed, and there were mostly only islands remaining. I recalled Nostradamus' mentioning of people in exile or living in "the Islands" and then recalled the prophet Ezekiel's mention of "those living carelessly in the islands" and a quiet fear began to build in me, because nuclear fire from Russia (or fire from space guided by God) would be the next thing that would hit us, according to Ezekiel. When I saw the computer-generated map, I was startled and filled with dread: only two land masses were left, one was made up of a part of Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, western Colarado, and a western piece of New Mexico in the west and the other was made up of North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, parts of Tennesee and Kentucky, Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and part of Ohio in the east (New York State, I'm not sure about), with nothing but space in between. Canada, Mexico, and Central America were simply not shown, since this was solely an image generation of the United States. The many little islands didn't even show up on the map. I heard one man say it looks like the two land masses are close together on the map, but that it would take a very long time to get to the land mass to the east by boat. I looked out a window into darkness and could see only a few adjacent buildings on pavement that disappeared into a vast expanse of water, vast like the ocean itself, a few spots of land, and a continuous downpour of rain.
This was worse than anything Edgar Cayce ever predicted, in my view. It is far worse than any prediction or prophecy I am familiar with. And I think it is going to happen sometime just before or no later than the year 2010. I felt I was in the year 2010, and, after quietly saying "the Islands" to myself, that a Russian nuclear attack on what was left of the United States was imminent, even though no one else in the "centre" suspected this. My heart grew very sick with dread, and I awoke.
Addendum (August 9, 2006 - Posted August 15, 2006): What I saw on the monitors looked a lot like promotional ads for different products. One looked like it was linked to France and another showed a woman trying some product in Japan.
Nevertheless, this was weird considering how much of the US was underwater. Also, I had the feeling that World War 3 was still in progress, otherwise I wouldn't have been concerned about a Russian nuclear attack on what was left of the US (imagine, after all America will have been through). What had happened to the USA had been through "natural" causes (probably highly accelerated global warming and "off the wall" seismic activity triggered by the passage of PX).
In my dream it was dark outside, like night. I don't know if that was because of the planet being plunged into a perpetual night by supervolcanic eruptions or something to that effect, or if it was normal dark. It was about 7 AM eastern time. I felt it was EST and not EDT too. So, it could have been in February or March 2010, since it usually starts becoming light in April at that time. I also felt this was first part of 2010 and not autumn.
The total nuclear war hadn't happened yet between Russia and the US in the dream. It might only be days, weeks away, but it hadn't happened yet. And something told me that the place I was in *might* cease to exist when the Russian nukes finally came. So whatever trade agreements were in place during my dream (with what looked like 100 nations, big and small), I wouldn't count on them being in place after the strike.
A base 7 date I have arrived at for this dream is March 2010.

(Excerpt from dream vision): Then I saw something else that startled me. To the upper right of this whirling fireball (Planet X), I could see a much smaller black object. It was not round, but oblong. It remained stationary even though the fireball was rapidly spinning. I figured the reason I could see it at all was because the light of the fireball was bright enough to make it show up as black against the background. For some reason I was made to know that we should fear not only the fireball, but the small black object near it as well. My impression was that this was an asteroid being pulled along with the spinning object.
NEW PREDICTION: 7/4/08 -- Large, black and obelisk-shaped in its natural state, this satellite of Planet X slams either into the Atlantic Ocean or the Mediterranean Sea in March 2010. Due to its size, chemical makeup, and its relationship to Planet X, its motion and appearance as it heads towards earth may not be typical of an asteroid. Indeed, for a number of days or weeks before impact, it may even appear to look like a comet. Note that it is something like a burning mountain to the prophet John in his vision. This is likely more an assessment of its size (mountain-sized) and the fact that it is fiery than an actual description. The force of its impact alone will cause great destruction, but this object will bring something with it that shall cause deadly pollution of a third of the world's seas and oceans.
As I mentioned in the 2009 series and elsewhere on this site, Planet X may in fact be the brown dwarf star and so-called "tenth planet" 2003 UB313, later named Xena and finally given the name Eris (the goddess of strife and discord). The principal satellite (there may be other smaller moons not detected if Nibiru experts are correct) was initially named Gabrielle and is now known as Dysnomia ("demon of lawlessness"). Eris is mentioned twice in Nostradamus' quatrains and I suspect, if it is Planet X and anywhere nearby, that we have not been told the entire truth about its orbit or how close to earth it can travel. If so, the object that strikes earth in March 2010 may be Gabrielle/Dysmonia.

OLD PREDICTION: 5/20/02, UPDATED 5/1/08 -- When the demon star Dysmonia is approaching earth and is perceived as a comet, the Chinese dragon will make its long-awaited move to invade and conquer Taiwan. At the same time China invades, it will attack US and US-allied ships in the region. North Korea will already have made its move a few month earlier against Japan and US ships and may choose this time to invade South Korea. It may also be at this time that China will move south to control shipping in the Indian Ocean and on behalf of its ally Iran. The entire region will be at war while the demon star is coursing through the heavens above.
The base 7 dating for this event is March 2010. At that point "the yellow dragon" will launch an invasion against Alaska and Canada, and a limited nuclear missile strike against US west coast cities. Many more cities throughout the Pacific could be in danger of attack. However, the large-scale attack of US cities will not come until August or September 2010. It will likely be a joint Chinese-Russian attack as well.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/7/08 -- Since this occurs in March 2010 as well, we should probably assume that this nuclear disaster in the US state of Alaska will have something to do with incursions by China into Canada and the Alaskan state.

NEW PREDICTION: 11/25/08 -- Up until now it has been a slow nuclear duel: a battle ship or nuclear sub destroyed in retaliation for a vapourised air base, for example; a strategic target for a strategic target; even a city for a city. Now, however, with the mega-revolution in Russia in full force, the exchanges become more frequent and a volley of missiles will answer a volley of missiles. Still, even this will fall far short of total thermonuclear war since that would require the greater portion of each nation's arsenal being deployed all at once. Even so, those who survive this escalation which will begin in March 2010 will know the end is drawing near.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/3/08 -- The burning torch may be the space rock pulled along with Planet X that will smash to earth or else a post-PX comet that will appear in March 2010. It would appear that in April 2010, Macedonia, the interface which connects Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey, will become a significant theatre of war for the Muslim axis. After defeating the Turks and Bulgarians, Iran turns to invade Macedonia and then dives southwards into Greece. The "assistance" provided by Western governments will arrive "too late" to stop an Iranian force that, together with its Islamic allies from adjacent regions, will be at least twenty million strong (in another quatrain, Nostradamus warns that Iran's allies in North Africa will contribute seven million men to fight in France and Switzerland).

NEW PREDICTION: 7/15/08 -- The US will deploy its navy to the waters of Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Peru, and other Latin American nations allied with the Chavez-Castro axis against her. Al Qaeda paramilitary teams and Chinese and Iranian forces will also be engaged at this time in these regions. It is possible the US may get assistance from the British in this major operation. This will take place in April 2010.

NEW PREDICTION: 12/3/08 -- If terrifying storms and huge tidal waves plague the United States as prophesied by Hildegarde, Edgar Cayce, and others in 2009 and 2010, all yet another result of the close approach of Planet X, the actual flyby and the aftermath, then the end result may well be two groups of states, one in the east and the other in the west, with between 1300 and 1700 miles of water in between dotted with many tiny islands. Canada and the US state of Alaska will remain reasonably intact as will most of Mexico in the south.
The east and west will recover gradually, the east more quickly since the government will have gone underground in stages during the start of the "nuclear duel" (limited nuclear war) with Russia and then completely during the Planet X flyby and immediate aftermath. All military moves in the Pacific against North Korea and China will be directed from underground strategy rooms and nuclear-powered submarines. A network of hidden anti-ballistic missile systems not reported in the media will have, thus far, worked splendidly in safeguarding Washington DC and many key sections of the East Coast.
However, the western states will have been abandoned for the exception of the underground missile silos in communication with Washington and awaiting their orders in the event of any escalation in the nuclear confrontation, awaiting the dreaded "total war" should it come.
Although millions of Americans have died in death camps after martial law was implemented in August 2009, and have also died from limited nuclear attacks and "natural" catastrophes (ie., Planet X), many millions more will survive in the west and the east and on the islands. Whilst the eastern states, thus far, will have been largely protected from Russian missiles, the western states will have been left alone to suffer. Anger against the Obama government will mount in the west, and the east will remain in a kind of lockdown. Soon, for the second time in America's history, civil war will break out, this time between the government in the east and the peoples of the free west rather than between north and south.
The island communites will not do well, starvation and disease being major problems, in some cases leading to cannibalism. These people will attack other islanders for food and resources, or attack western or eastern states that happen to be close enough to reach by boat. Pirate ships will set sail in the deep waters of what was once the Midwestern states. There will be little ideology in the isles. But there will be great fury between west and east, out of revenge for the mass genocide by mass shooting and gas, mass executions by guillotine, and by various forms of torture and human sacrifice of millions of innocent Americans in death camps, and especially now that Obama has escalated the nuclear exchanges that will threaten to go "total."
This second civil war should begin in April 2010.

NEW PREDICTION: 7/18/08 -- The aftershocks from Planet X will be so numerous and terrible in December 2009 and early 2010 that in a way it almost seems foolish to bother to record them (so only a few have been). By spring 2010 the intervals between each aftershock will become longer in duration; but nerves will be frayed at when and where they shall strike. The destruction from them will be great and, if not for Planet X, would each be major historical events.
In this instance when a Planet X afershock strikes Peru, the entire city of Lima is destroyed in May 2010.

NEW PREDICTION: 7/17/08 -- In a series of frightening quatrains, Nostradamus describes an invasion of southern France via the Pyrenees and from the port at Marseilles. It culminates with nearly a million French refugees fleeing for their lives, some killed trying to escape the awful weapons, others captured and later put to death in Lyon. I believe the cause of much of the the "fire" will be Fuel Air Explosives, sometimes called the poor man's nuclear bomb. The devastation from FAEs is nearly as horrific as that caused by atomic bombs, only without the radiation. This should happen around the surrender signature for France which is the May 2010 vector.
This southern invasion I believe will be led by Iranian ("Persian") and "Median" allies of Moscow (Iranians, Kurds, and Muslim groups from the former Soviet Union such as the Azeris and Abkhazians).
The assault on the city of Marseilles commences, a huge armada of Iranian and North African warships and submarines converging inside the Old Harbor: "the port of all men." Concurrently, the nearby cities of Toulon and La Seyne will come under attack and fierce naval battles and ground wars will occur there. Marseilles, however, will be the first major prize the blue-turbaned conqueror of Persia will covet—to capture or to destroy. France itself he will seek to plunder and subjugate, Europe's powerful throne. But he will cast his pitiless eyes further west and dare to comprehend a greater evil against a mighty enemy, one previously beyond his reach or that of his predecessors' ... and he will smile when he thinks of the Russian nuclear attacks now in effect. It will now be a time for both the cock and the eagle to tremble with fear.
The Iranian leader will make his decision, his "favourable" course of action: the great port city will be slowly demolished, not captured. This quatrain describes a night-long bombardment of Marseilles by sea and the consequences of the assault most graphically.
The "globes" which are so dreadful evoke several possible images. When a Fuel Air Explosive is first ignited the resulting blast takes the initial form of a globular cloud of inflamed fuel mist and heat waves which quickly becomes a huge fireball. Also, by night, as we witnessed on television during the Persian Gulf War, aerial tracer fire took on the appearance of ascending and descending greenish globes of varying sizes. Of course, the initial image of a nuclear blast is a very large, blinding sphere of light which is instantly followed by the familiar firestorm and mushroom cloud.
However, since Nostradamus describes a number of globes being seen during this attack (one nuclear bomb would be sufficient to destroy Marseilles), one which will occur over the course of an entire night, it is more likely that the assault by sea will involve both conventional and FAE incendiaries, rather than nuclear weapons. This suggests that Blue King Turban will wish to rebuild and retain the port city for future military purposes.
The fiery invasion of southern France is echoed in an ancient document authored by an unknown clergyman in AD 346. Entitled the Liber Vaticinationem Quodam Instinctumentis, it presages three world wars that will directly involve Germany, the first two as an aggressor and the last as a defender of "the Empire" against the invaders from the East:

For the third (world war), the earth shakes,
The throat of the Gaul (France) is ravaged.
Many die fleeing from the awful winds,
The sun halts in its path in the heavens.It is then said that the norma will die "when the wolf
(Germany) is hacked to bits."
Cities and towns in southeastern Provence are
attacked by land and sea:
Although fire is not mentioned in this quatrain, the reference to devastation suggests that the "favorable wind" will be one which will fan the flames ignited by Fuel Air Explosives dropped from aircraft and fired from warships.
All the cities and towns in lines 2 and 3 are located in southwestern France well below the 44th parallel. The strikes against them are either nuclear, FAE, or a mixture of both. An Iranian commander directing the attacks will in some way miscalculate and instead bring about his own destruction when his own position is targeted.
The important old man who escapes through German assistancemay be the former French president, Jacques Chirac, who will lead the nation again at the end of the war as liberator.
The white-turbaned leader, Turkish President Ahmet
Necdet Sezer, is supplanted by a blue-turbaned usurper, Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad or, if dead, his successor. The intriguing
"antenna suspended over a branch" which indicates that
much of the conflict will be broadcast live on television. If so,
it would appear that much of the Third World War up to this point
will have been extensively reported, even in the United States
(east of the Mississippi at least).
In Quatrain 9.73 can be believed, Blue King Turban will rule Iran for a little less than a revolution of Saturn: 29.5 years. The coup or war will occur a short time before the new leader of Iran commences an invasion of southern France, represented in synecdoche by the city of Foix.
The white-turbaned leader will be forced to take refuge in "the heart of Turkey" where he will live out the remainder of his days.
A severe drought, possibly global in scale, occurs around July 22 ("the end of Cancer"). Nuclear or FAE strikes are launched against the province of Bearn located in the extreme southwestern corner of France.
The cities of Auch, Condom and Mirande are all located in southwestern France below the 44th parallel. When the sun and Mars are conjoined in Leo, nuclear or FAE attacks will spread northward to Marmande, well above the 44th degree of latitude in the province of Guyenne. Part of the city will fall into the Garonne River, if that is the intended meaning of line 4.

Banners with the likeness of the late Ayatollah Khomeini are draped and flown throughout the city. The Iranian flag is raised above the French flag (the Celtic Eagle). The "small, great one" is the diminutive Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, unless it is a physical description of his blue-turbanned successor.

NEW PREDICTION: 7/15/08 -- Some things are hidden from us, however perfect God's number 7 may be. There are some events we are meant to be confused about, and that we cannot be allowed to tamper with .. for better or for worse. Yet, it is surprising the many things we are allowed to know about in advance ... and to change or at least postpone. Evidence of the number 7, and multiples thereof, working through diverse historical patterns and trends is more plentiful than one man alone can possibly predict. Often I discover, after it is too late, that yet another "base 7" historical repetition has played out.
Still, some things are intended to be hidden. All of these projections of past events repeating again in some fashion in the future and the dating "vectors" for them are merely "windows of opportunity." That is all they are: opportunities for an event to happen again in some way. Yet, by anticipating the future through the study of past events and repetitive trends, these projections can fulfill the same function as prophecy.

I believe either Pope Benedict XVI or a future Paul VII or John Paul III will die three leagues (nine miles) from Avignon, the papal city which is watered by the Rhone River. This will likely occur in May 2010. If it is Benedict's successor, it may well be the French cardinal, Andre Vingt-Trois (although he seems to appear in a quatrain concerning England). The major Western allies mentioned in the above quatrain are France (the cock), the United States (the eagle), and Great Britain (the three royal brothers: Charles, Andrew, and Edward). Mars no longer "reigns by good fortune" as it does in Quatrain 10.72 --- the great King of Terror quatrain. The "before and after" period of 1997-2003 has long since ended. Therefore, Nostradamus is writing of Mars in his usual role of the God of War. |
Mars, the God of War, shall achieve his most horrible throne when World War III has spread to Europe in the form of a joint Russian-Islamic invasion and the US is under nuclear attack from Russia and China.

According to Nostradamus many of the towns and cities in this region, such as Carcassonne, Comminges, Foix, Auch, Mazeres, Nice, Frejus, and Antibes will be attacked by enemies with weapons that bring down "fire from the sky."
Interestingly enough, Avignon is situated in the V formed by the rivers Rhone and Durance. Thus, the Pope will be literally between two rivers. This potentially recalls the following verse:
During this invasion, the Pope dies approaching Le Rocher des Doms. Nearly a million French will die along with him or be taken captive:

NEW PREDICTION: 8/2/08 -- The North African campaign to invade Gibralter fails utterly as UK naval forces beat back the Muslim warships in June 2010 after nearly nine months of off-and-on fighting. Unfortunately Iranian and Libyan missile attacks on London are far from over.

NEW PREDICTION: 9/21/08 -- Egypt experiences an especially dreadful Planet X aftershock in June 2010. It will be only one reminder that Planet X has caused considerable long-term damage to the earth. What Earth's inhabitants are not aware of is that it will be making a return on its passage back to the outer solar system.

NEW PREDICTION: 11/27/08, PRESENTATION POSTED: 3/17/09 -- In June 2010, a man from the Spanish or French side of the Pyrenees Mountains agrees to act as President of the occupied territories of southern France as a proxy leader for the Muslim invaders from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Algeria and other allied nations. He may be a Muslim leader himself, although his intentions will be secretly self-serving. He will be given an amazing degree of latitude to rule as he pleases. This, in part, will be due to the fact that the Iranian-led axis will have little more interest than having conquered and humbled the West and forced their religion upon the kingdoms of Christendom. Also, they know the ruthless nature of the man they have chosen: that he will shed much more blood of Christians and other infidels than they, and do so far more efficiently with the help of the mobs who engaged in the revolution or took advantage of the chaos it brought. In addition, it will please them to carve an empire out of Europe and have as its emperor a puppet who bows to Mecca. Already Portugal, much of Spain, much of Germany, Austria, part of Italy, southern France, Malta, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Macedonia, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, and Greece have either fallen or are under siege.
